Review 1：We were in town for a funeral and didn't really have anyplace else to go. Check in time was three. We showed up at 12:45. They told us they would be happy to let us have the room then for an extra thirty dollars. We could understand paying more to guarantee early access, but not when the room is otherwise empty. That afternoon, it poured. The only place to hang out in the rain is the restaurant on the premises. Not ideal for lounging, but the restaurant staff is very accommodating and the food is quite good.

Review 2：The location is great for the price. Our friends even got ocean views for the same price, which I didn't think was available. Look closely when you book. The hotel has balconies available to everyone with terrific ocean views. And the hotel is right next to the Ft. Pierce jetty, and sand beaches. When the weather's nice, it's a great place to spend time.

Review 3：A/c did not work properly..owner/management gave other ppl keys to our room & they walked in on us claiming it was their room after we already paid for the week..and also was told sign on our door would keep EVERYONE out of our room seeing we had pet(so it would not get out of room).. VERY NOISY!!!!! sliding glass door wouldn't open right..paper thin walls..in need of much maintenance!!! Make sure you get the room you pay for!

Review 8：We went there for New Years. It is a nice place right on the water and a close walk to restaurants and the beach. Everything has been nicely renovated and our room was very comfortable.

Review 9：The view, the location, the food, and even our room was GREAT. This place has been re-done and the only problem we saw was that our sliding glass door was a pain to open, close, lock, but all in all AWESOME

Review 10：The hotel is not super fancy but it is RIGHT ON THE WATER. The balcony was spacious and direct oceanfront view. The neighborhood is quiet. Nice breakfast at Archies (walking distance).

Review 11：The first room we were placed in had a terrible smell. We were moved to a much smaller room but our rate was not adjusted. The music is very loud until very late. It is as if the band is in your room. We specifically asked if the room we were being moved to was noisy and we were told no. In addition, the bar patrons have free reign to walk up and down the walkways by the room; didn't feel very safe.

Smell in room.lose railings going down steps.there is a hotel across the street that I have stayed at.that is nicer. Don't waste your money.

Review 14：It was very loud - they told us when we already book our rooms. The alternative was 20m beyside and much more expensive. The climatiator is bad in the room. It is stinky and dark and you can't open an window whan sleeping.

Review 16：We were very unhappy that the trash and dirty towels were not removed from our room, on the 2nd day. We took our trash and towels down to the office, and replaced the trash bag ourselves. But the staff was apologetic and nice.

Weliked the 32in tv that was not an off brand tv (Samsung I believe)therefore the picture was on point..//Waking up to the sunriseby having the ocean front view...the accessibility of the beach...,theon site open space (no walls or windows) restaurant with TVs all aroundshowing sports...movie at night on big screen tv outside steps away fromthe beach and live entertainment ,,and all staff was polite andinformative of what Hutchison island had to offer

Review 42：I booked an oceanfront room and was directed to a room that overlooked the bar roof! After much discussion the clerk told me I could have the small, but not updated efficiency above the office that faced the ocean. This did work for me and was much more quiet than the other rooms. There is also a $30 charge for early check in. I skipped that and went to lunch instead. Definately not for the luxury minded - rough towels and sheets!

Review 47：Restaurant terrible...young staff members did not pay attention to me when setting inside waiting to be served..i got up and left when I asked for the hostess then she had to find the server who was wanting to go back outside w/her young friends.Did eat breakfast the first morning which was nothing. 2 eggs w/ sausge patties that had been overcooked for $7.50 plus another charge. Not much quality for my money. Remember folks, Quality is in the details. Let me try to stay one more time and see if anythings change.......

Review 49：The room is very small and there is a live band that's pretty loud until 11:30pm on weekends. The beds are very uncomfortable and it's basically a weekend party hotel for local area people.There was a strong smell of pot all throughout the outside areas and alot of partying.Not cool around kids.

Review 50：First to be fair and honest I would say that if your bringing kids this might not be the place for you. It is in a good location and the views are great.The staff was nice and there's a restaurant.

Review 51：The a/c unit kept flooding the floor due to clogging up. Some of our stuff got wet and we had to use the only towels we had to soak up the water. Office was closed so left voice message but no return call before checking out the next day.

Review 58：Was very disappointed that the due to the construction the beach was not accessible ( so no beach with two kids not good ) also the noise from the construction project till almost midnight than again from about 6:30 or 7 a.m really ruined the enjoyment of the hotel stay and beautiful view and location. Which I understand is in no way the fault of the hotel or within their control. What a shame though really great place plan on returning when beach project is completed /over.

Review 60：Room did not have a balcony as advertised. Room's view was misleading, could barely see ocean. Walked to end of "hallway" to sit on porch and railing was such that you could not see the ocean when sitting facing the ocean even from the third floor. No pool (but didn't advertise one either) No elevator and we were placed on 3rd floor.

Review 64：The room was lacking in basic amenities. There was a kitchenette with no microwave. The lighting was so dim I could barely see. There was no iron or ironing board. There were no hangers in the closet. The room was spacious but the furnishings were mismatched and not aesthetically pleasing.

Review 67：My fiance and I stayed for 4 days and loved it. Right on the beach and great views. Food in the restaurant is amazing and bar drinks were great and affordable. Not a great place for small children due to live bands and noise but perfect for us.

Review 70：This location has some wonderful views of the ocean, your steps away from an uncrowded beach. The staff was great. I went with friends and we were only going to stay one night and we had such a great time we decided to stay two. We had to change rooms because our room was already called for, but we ended up in an even better room. The whole trip there was a wonderful experience and I will definitely go back and cannot wait to go back :-)

Review 71：Staff were very helpful, and even upgraded our room to oceanview with balcony because of a miscommunication with booking.com. LIve music was loud, but good, and fun with late afternoon drinks on the terrace. Stopped at 10 pm on week night.
