Review 1：Limited to what you could cook in a microwave, no real cooking facilities as such

Review 2：We loved our stay here. George checked us in and was very friendly and helpful. Location was quiet but within walking distance of centre of town. Bed was super comfy and we loved our spa and great shower! Heaps of off peak parking available.

Review 3：- Read the fine print when booking - only 1 carpark per room - Shower had trouble draining causing a bit of flood (staff were going to look into it immediately)

Review 7：Was advertised as free wifi. was not given password at check in and when we went to use wifi the office had closed. Just a suggestion other motels we have stayed at that offer free wifi have the password printed in the condiment folder.

Review 8：The room was clean and tidy. Ok for an overnight stay but would be a bit pocky for longer. For the price we paid it was ok. Parking was very tight for bigger vehicles.

Review 12：The lighting in the unit was insufficient for older people, and although the shower pressure was very good, the step up to get in it was not easy unless you are perfectly fit.

Review 28：The downside is, there was limited wi-fi use which was not advertised. We could not use the spa in our room at night because the jets were to loud. But the upside is that the staff made allowances and let us use the spa for the Inn as we were not told at check in about the opening and closing times.

Review 29：The view was beautiful. The location was great and everything was withing walking distance ie. entertainment, restaurants and the beach. The staff were incredibly helpful. The rooms are immaculate and clean I would definitely go back.

Review 30：The room was in need of refurbishment, looking very tired, especially in the bath room and basin area. Paint peeling and mould in the grout and silicone. Tiles falling off around bath. Car parking was a pain in the ass.

The view from our room was breath taking and it was nice to come back to a cleaned room after exploring Taupo all day! And the private spa pool was a bonus and relaxing! Review 49：It stated that there was a kitchenette with this room. The cutlery and dishes etc were great as were the tea/coffee making but the cooking facility was a microwave which was below knee height in the cupboard so extremely difficult to use. The bathroom vanity and kitchen sink were one and outside the bathroom area. This meant no space for food prep and very little space to use the electric jug and supplied toaster.

Review 64：the service was poor. i rang to say I might be a little later arriving(actually was still early), the owner was not receptive at all, quite grumpy, not welcoming. Even next morning no welcome, hope you have had a good stay. had to phone once we had arrived to get the details re accessing wireless.

Review 66：Lack of information from staff. Didn't get told about wifi access. Weren't asked about breakfast requests if any. We were woken the first morning by the next door room ruuning the spa bath and turning it on @ 5.45AM! The next morning we were woken early by children running backwards and forwards and up and down the stairs to the balcony. This was the first time we had been away from our own children in 5 years - so were expecting to get at least one sleep in during our stay!

The other had mould on the ceiling in the bathroom, a broken heater and poor decor. If all the rooms can be brought up to the same standard, it will be an excellent place.

Review 100：We have stayed previously in the same 2 bedroom unit however were disappointed this time. Although the unit was clean there was no toilet paper, no soap in the shower dispenser, no tea, coffee or sugar, no dishcloth or tea towel. These were supplied when asked for however we got 2 dishcloths and no tea towel to dry our dishes with. Compared to other motels we stayed at during our recent trip this one was disappointing and it wasn't what it used to be.

Review 101：The rooms we booked where on the ground floor at the back of the motel, they where located by the laundry room smelt of damp also dark and no natural light, did not complain as we where only staying for two nights!

Kitchen was extremely basic and bathroom could have used a decent sink. Owners of this unit need to refurnish and bring upto same standard as rest. Parking was a bit strange too.
