Review 1：We stayed 7 nights!!!! When we got there, we noticed the hotel looked a bit different in the pictures. They are "remodeling" which just looks like new furniture. Our ceiling fan was missing a blade and hung sideways by wires. I did let them know immediately, but on day 7 it was still hanging. The room is very small and has way to much furniture. The baloney is narrow and only needs two chairs the bench is to much. They did feel the need to come into our room and allow furniture guys to assemble new beds. We came back with lunch to find two men in our room. They let screws, washers, and bolts everywhere. We ate lunch outside. They need to buy more towels because they never seemed to have enough. Not enough parking. Need to clean up the outside.

Review 2：I loved the fact that we could take our pets. This made the trip so easy. I like that they have a washer and dryer for guests. It is a very hot and small room. The staff was wonderful. The cleaning ladies were so sweet. Location is nice.

Review 3：Didn't stay at property. They cancelled my reservation on day of check in with 30 mins notice due to an issue with my credit card. Treated extremely rudely by GM who hung up on me 3 times while I tried to work something out. Horrible experience

Review 4：Towels and bedding had stains. Maid service was inconsistent. I had to go and ask for wash cloths and hand towels. Soap items were only replaced once. Sometimes only noticed the bed was made. Glasses and cups were not cleaned and also Ice bucket. I had to tell management that I was not happy with service then it got somewhat better. Would not stay there again. Also had to ask for Sheets to be changed. Was there for 7 nights. The male manager was nice.

Review 6：It's very difficult to see ocean from balcony. Poor breakfast. There was an empty beer bottle on the balcony before our arrival and housekeeper didn't notice it.

Review 9：Had a small problem with doorwall to balcony. Was immediately changed to another room which was actually more convenient for my husband who uses a walker. (With a smile and helpful service). Staff even helped with breakfast preparation the next morning. Great location.

Review 10：door would not shut without pulling real hard on door knob, maid told us this, balcony had a bench seat and you could'nt get out there to sit or invite friends over. People not staying coming to pool and swimming,had to walk through field to get to highway to cross and get to beach or restaurants. Dogs everywhere, dog friendly, 6 bulldogs,1 poodle,1 terrier.

Review 17：I had to ask for new entry key to my room twice because they were not working after I used them for a couple of times, I ask one of the cleaning ladies if she can open the door for me and guess what? she did it without checking if it was my room room or not. Not security all in its cheap looking hotel. Price high for what it is. The entries doors had noisy sound when you open and close.

Review 18：The location is fantastic if you have ocean view but if you have to the Hernando Street side it is horrible because what you see are houses not in good condition. The pool is nice and recently done. The beach is wonderful and the entretaiment across the street too.

Review 36：Rowdy neighbours ( till 4am the night we arrived Saturday). Then workmen get up at 5am throughout the rest of the week and starting their muscle cars/trucks directly under the hotel room. Phone call at 5am trying to find his workmate! Very small balcony with bizarre metal bench that transformed into seat and table, problem with this is nobody could move on the terrace as it was so small. Far too small table and chair set in room. Breakfast room had 3 tables in it. Open access to rooms, no reception after 11pm. More Motel than Hotel.

It had been given a very cursory cleaning which left dead insects and dirt residue in corners.The sliding doors to the beach were rusted closed and not able to be opened. The air conditioning unit was very loud and only somewhat effective. There were ancient blankets on the bed which were not double covered for sanitation. The bathtub was rusted and unable to be stopped up for a bath. I could continue, but this should be enough...

Review 47：beach is across the street and not like right across the street, its at least a 5 min walk, which is NOT a big deal but if you are going to call yourself the "royal beach inn" that kind of gives people the wrong impression! -Parking limited! I was afraid every night we got back late there wouldnt be a spot. Staff..ehh...I asked for a breakfast spot and she said "theres some place by the bridge" not the friendliest but not the unfriendliest either!!

We were shocked about the use of styrofoam dish, which was thrown into the garbage EVERY morning - what a unnecessary production of garbage. They should really start to use reusable dish - for our environment!!!!

Maybe management should pay a few dollars more a month to get a better TV package. If I would have know this, we would have stayed elsewhere. There are very few restaurants in the area. The beaches are the dirty very coarse sand (not very nice), not like other parts of Fl. This is probably why there are only a few hotels and restaurants in this area. Only one set of towels in room.

We will not use this booking service in the future.

Review 120：Room cleanliness was average at best, the "viewable" areas looked clean, but under the bed and behind the furniture had not been cleaned in a while... this is a problem with small children who drop and lose toys under and behind things. Bathroom was mostly clean, but under the counter and in the cracks not clean... a little detail in the cleaning would go a long way. Breakfast was okay, nothing to write home about, but was nice to eat out on patio area. Room was small, we had pop-up crib that barely fit, we had to put between the two beds and even that was a tight squeeze. Honestly, by the end of our stay we were satisfied with the property, it just took some warming up to.

Review 121：Managing expectations is key. My husband is in the vacation ownership industry so we are often very spoiled at the properties that we travel. He did not have any properties in this area so we decided to stay in a local hotel. We chose this one because of it's location and pool. The biggest pro was the location to beach and restaurants. We did have an ocean view; although at a distance, it was beautiful. Loved the keurig and the fridge/freezer combo was nice. All in all our stay was good, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
