Review 1：Staff have poor knowledge of the rooms they allocate. I had booked 1 double room and 1 twin room, staff even pointed out that the rooms will match our request - however, we ended up in two double rooms just because staff did not know which rooms are double and which are twin. However, as it was 2am when we checked in, and I did not make a bid deal of this at that time... Breakfast was tasteless and coffee disgusting

Review 2：The hotel was easy to find and it was clean, open 24hrs

Review 3：After asking a double bed I still got two singles beds collided into one - we could feel the gap, which resulted in an uncomfortable sleep. The breskfast is just terrible: the juice is not refilled, only 2 hot dishes that are from the lowest quality good because it tastes terrible, the assortment is very limited and if does not fell like the food is fresh.

Review 4：Furniture of the hotel is in great condition, it is always clean and smells well. The receptionists are alwsys very polite and smiles generally - the give nice vibes when you enter and exit.

Review 5：New building-everything is clean, comfortable.Excellent breakfast and free car parking. It takes 10-15 min on foot to the center, but for young people is nothing.

Review 6：Did not like noisy neighbours, the walls are very thin so if people next doors are a bit louder you can hear everything... One morning some kids woke us up early by running around and shouting, was very annoying but nothing we could do....

Review 7：Cheap hotel, but surprisingly nice, modern interior. Nothing fancy or luxurious but does the job just well. Clean towels always provided, disposable slippers were provided which is a nice touch. We stayed at the end of October, was warm enough in the room. I liked that shower gel was provided and topped up every day. Breakfast was ok...

Review 8：No floorheating in bathroom, no curtain/glass in shower to prevent water from going everywhere. Interior design very uncompleted. Cheap beds. Nightclub music in the corridors. 2 cups in the apartement for 4 people etc.

First night was cold and staff didn't seem to want to but eventually give us an electric heater. But overall great staff.

Review 20：Quite a good location, only 10 min walk from Laisves Street and 20 min walk from Vilniaus Street and Old Town. New, clean and modern accomodation. They have rooms for 3-4 pers. groups and families, too.

Review 21：It's on top of a hill, which you have to climb everyday. Can be annoying at some point, but it's good exercise!

Review 22：Very nice room, beds were good and so was the bathroom. You can enter 24/7 with your own pass, which is very useful. Enough choices at breakfast. Perfect stay if you're only there to sleep and gone for the rest of the day.

Review 23：I booked a delux suite for a family with 2 small kids and indicated that we will arrive at midnight. When we arrived, there was only one bed made, I had to go to reception to get instructions to turn a couch into another bed and do the bed myself. He could at least told it while checking in. Location is very close to main road, so rather noisy, but fair for one night stay.

Review 27：This hotel is overrated. Value for money ok, but do not agree with the high ratings from other reviewers. Location good only if you have a car or don't mind to use taxi. Also, they have a lot to do yet. Poor breakfast. Missing details in rooms (for example where to hang your towel, bath curtain etc). New building, clean, but very sterile-feeling and not cozy at all. Ok for one night and if you came by car (free parking in front of the hotel).

Review 28：My room was on 4 floor, with windows to the street, but there was no noise from outside. In the corridor there was nice music playing, also no noise from it in the room. I liked the breakfast a lot, it was just perfect. Definitely i will come back there during my next business trip to Kaunas.

A very good location - either 5 minutes on a trolley/bus to the center, or you can actually walk towards the church and take a cable car down the hill (only 10 minutes in total) and it is more fun! A very good price. There is also a bus that stops straight infront of the hotel, which can take you to the airport.

Review 37：Somebody smoked in their bathroom (non smoking hotel) and some of that smoke ended up in our bathroom (thru ventilation system). Mentioned that in the morning to front desk, but she really didn't care. Smoke detector test light flashed really bright. Have to cover it with bandage.

Review 39：Location is not in the old town, but approx. 2 stops by public transport. In summer it must be a nice walk, in winter I prefer to use public transport. It runs very frequently and you can buy very cheap touch card for 1 or 3 days in any newspaper kiosk in Kaunas

Review 40：Everytrhing is brand new, friendly and polite staff, good wifi, trolleybus stop outside the hotel and supermarket next to it. Breakfast is inclusive and it is OK. For 3 star brand it is more than enough. Very good quality - price ratio.

Review 44：Being regularly at Kaunas for business purpose, I tried out for the first time the Algiro which opened in summer 2014. It's a B&B hotel without restaurant. Super clean and bright, I really liked its new and modern style. Situated on the "Savanorių prospektas" (main axis), it is the best compromise between my company location and the "old town", where are all the restaurants and bars. Tourists may prefer a hotel in the "old town" but with the bus stop in front of the Algiro, it takes you only 10 mn to go there. The stuff is very friendly and helpful and makes you feel at home. No doubt about : Next time I'll choose again the Algiro.

Review 46：Hotel is on main road so handy for bus into town or to train station. Bus stops across the road for both.No.13 trolley bus we used most. For airport you can get bus right outside hotel if you wish. New hotel so everything felt new and clean. Breakfast was ok.

Review 47：There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so there are direct buses to the airport and the city center. The room was clean, cosy, the internet worked well, and the breakfast was really nice. I can only recommend that place!

Review 48：The smoke detector signal lamp was blinking very brightly durig the night - it was very disturbing. It felt like someone is using flashlight above my bed.

Review 50：We had a junior suite, which had main room and a bedroom, and it was very bold in both, AC was present only in the main room, making bedroom impossible to be heated. Staff turned on main hotel heating but this was of no help at all, radiator was barely warm. AC was locked at +24C and staff could not done anything to make it warmer. I also was not able to found shoehorn in a junior suite Breakfast was average

Hotel is completely non-smoking. Free parking at the hotel. Suites fit 4 people in two rooms comfortably and feature a fridge and an electric kettle as well as tea and coffee.

Review 63：The window curtain is almost transparent and walls seem rather thin, so bring eye covers and ear plugs, if that bothers you. Breakfast area has very few tables, so might have to wait in line.

Review 69：Very happy with our stay at Algiro Hotel! The hotel is brand new and the rooms are clean, modern and a good size. The power shower is great! The hotel is definitely great value for money - free parking and wifi and a huge hot breakfast with many choices included! We liked that they served breakfast until 10.00 so you don’t have to wake up very early unlike some other hotels. The staff were polite and helpful and know the city well. Attractions were not too far, just walking distance and it is a short walk to the city centre. There is a supermarket right beside the hotel which has a bakery and little coffee shop inside should you want to buy anything. There is also a bar inside the hotel which has a very good selection of beer and snacks. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to any one visiting Kaunas.
