Monte Pacis is housed in a beautiful building of a functioning monastery. It is situated on the peninsula surrounded by the Kaunas lagoon, less than 1,000 feet from the beach. An almost 350 feet long linden tree alley leads to the entrance.
The rooms and apartments at Monte Pacis are classically decorated in the Baroque style and each comes with a minibar and a private bathroom with a bath or a shower.
Breakfast, lunch and a la carte dinner are served in restaurant and its menu is based on local and seasonal produce. The wine selection includes authentic wine made by the monks. In summer, guests can enjoy a salad and barbecue bar open on the terrace.
There is a 24-hour front desk and an airport shuttle is offered at an extra fee. The centre of Kaunas is about 4.3 miles away, while the airport is 8.1 miles away. Tour around the Pažaislis monastery is avaiable on request.

Review 3：Very strange bathroom for a four star hotel. The tiniest washbasin I have ever seen, although there would be enough space for a bath...No shelves or hooks in the bathroom so you have to keep your clothes and everything else on the floor. Rather contradictory impressions from the hotel...

Review 4：Location is excellent if you are passing Kaunas. Almost 12 km from the city center... Monastery is beautiful but you will not have a great view out of your window.

Review 5：- Magical place, located in functioning monastery. Friendly professional staff. - Excursion in monastery. If you will be lucky as we were, you meet Sister at very beginning of your tour and she will be the best guide you can imagine. - Restaurant. Must visit place, one of the best places in Lithuania (and definitely the best around/in Kaunas). They have special equipment, which allows to offer more than 40 wines by glass. Quite wide range of Monk's wine, including Monaci Calmadolesi, Malteser Ritterorden.

Dinner was lovely and the breakfast was the BEST that we have ever had in any other hotel. Truly beautiful place to stay, wish we had spent more time there!

Review 19：The large LCD-TV does not fit into the room at all! Room was a little loud due to near road. Ventilation and climatisation is missing in the room - and even in the restaurant. Reception and kitchen should work better together - we had to say twice we are vegetarians and still got saucage on our plates. Housekeeping forgot to empty both bins. Btw.: 'Ananas' is not an english word ;)

Review 20：Interesting location, unusual style of the rooms. Friendly and helpful personnel. Prosecco as a welcome drink and daily bottle of fresh water - nice touch! Decoration of breakfast and dinner dishes was lovely, the china was very beautiful!

Review 21：Although the breakfast was very good, it was a bit on the small side compared to other hotels in the Baltic States.

The friendliness and availability of the staff at reception (I had forgotten my Kindle in the room and the staff were kind enough to send it back to me and at no expense to me!). The room was classy and the bed very comfortable. And we got offered a free bottle of Proseco in the evening.

Review 34：The hotel is uniquely located in the historic guest house of a very old monastery - and in a regional park on the top of that. The entire business model very sensitively draws inspiration from the environment and combines it with ultimate comfort and even silent luxury. The sense of serenity is overwhelming, but at the same time the quality of service is excellent. The cuisine of the restaurant is exquisite, the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Also, I am sure that any celebration held in there would be a very special one.
