Review 1：Rooms on left side of hotel - get the full benefit of an 100db whistle blower reversing coaches into a coach station at what seem like 30 seconds intervals from about 0630. Not recommended for late starts or hangovers!
Review 2：Probably the most convenient hotel ever for access to a station! Breakfast good. Stored luggage for the day after we booked out.
Review 3：Very handy for the bus from Narita to Utsunomiya as it stops outside the hotel entrance. It is also ideally located for using the Tourist JR Rail Pass as the hotel is just across the road from the rail station

Review 5：This hotel had free wifi in the room so not sure about what others have said here. Perhaps the hotel recently introduced it.
Review 6：The room really was very small indeed. However, it served the intended purpose and anyway, you can't see the room size when you're asleep.
Review 7：The only reason we stayed in Utsunomiya was so that we could go to the Moto GP at Motegi. We couldn't have selected a more convenient hotel as the special event shuttle bus departed about 100m from the hotel. The hotel itself is situated in a fairly vibrant area of town. Just don't expect posh.

Review 32：As a solo traveller I am used to tiny rooms in Japan but the room at the Chisun would have to be the largest "single" that I ahve ever encountered. I have stayed with a friend in "twin" rooms that have been smaller.
Review 33：There were many misunderstandings through lack of English spoken by recception staff. Too long to recount except to say staff sometimes looked at me with irritation or pained expression. I am not a moaner, just couldn't understand them, nor they me. I am a very positive person. Please employ more English speaking staff. In Utsunomiya there are over 7,000 non-Japanese residents. It's a popular place near to Tokyo. Wake up and seize these opportunities!
Review 34：I loved this hotel in every way except the lack of clear English spoken by reception staff. It caused many misunderstandings. I liked the very pleasant, helpful Taiwanese waiter who spoke excellent English, and have suggested he should be promoted to the reception desk. His name is Jia Meng Liu. We recommended him to a manager type older mature man on the desk; he listened politely but didn't respond positively! I hope they do this cos I can't tell my non-speaking Japanese friends to go there otherwise!

Review 36：This hotel is ideally situated for airport express bus and for bus and rail services. The room was quiet and the bed linen etc. immaculately clean and changed daily. A very good restaurant and very friendly and helpful staff. we will certainly be using this hotel again.

However, what I minded was that the room was not cleaned attentively. Dust, dirt, hair at corners (yes, when I first entered right after check-in). Stains at corners, wall and tub in the bathroom

Rooms have free wired internet but there was no hotel-wide wireless or room module available from the front desk. The staff was friendly...one young woman was very nice and probably deserves a medal for her patience while I tried to explain that I was trying to make an international collect call. Room was standard hotel fare with no frills, but the bathroom was more luxurious than most. A good hotel for a good price.
