Review 3：Wow wow wow! What a great place. You will struggle to find a nicer couple than Luis and Florbella. Their house is lovely, clean and well located. And they are so friendly and welcoming, we felt really at home. Luis took time to drive us to the local sites and have us some great restaurant recommendations. And florbella has taught me a great couple of cake recipes and even given me the starter mix for a 'health and luck' cake. As if that wasn't enough, they shared their port, wine and digestif with us and even dropped us to the airport. Get in quick to stay with these guys. Once word gets around, they're sure to be fully booked for months in advance!

Review 6：Florbela and Luis welcomed us with open arms, gave us the best travel advice, brought us along on a kayak trip, invited us on their family dinner,.. We cant imagine a better place to stay on Sao Miguel and would not stay anywhere else in the future!
Review 7：Florbela & Louis are extraordinary hosts who make you feel like at home and are very helpful. Delicious cakes and homemade icecream :) House is very nice, clean and parking your car is easy. Ribeira Grande has an ideal location for trips to all parts of the island. Probably the best beach on the island where you can also surf is just 2 km away.
Review 8：I really liked how friendly the hosts were, we got on very well with each other, we went hiking together, had dinners together and we learned a lot about the island and the culture. They were very helpful and the house is beautiful, very clean, maintained and has everything neccessary for a very comfortable stay.

Review 10：We had a really great at Casa da Flor. The double room was spacious and sunny with a comfortable double bed and bottle of water to welcome us. All the facilities including bathroom, kitchen etc. nice and clean. There was even laundry detergent and softner available for the washing machine, maps and guides and much more. Tasty breakfast included. Florbela and Louis were very helpful and responsive hosts. They´re great lovers of hiking and admirers of Sao Miguel´s nature, will provide the best tips of where to go and what to see. The Casa da Flor has a great location to explore the whole island, close to the main highway as well as small roads around the costline. Quiet and lovely neighborhood. Our hosts made us feel really like at home. We were even invited for a great homemade dinner and will never forget Florbela´s cakes. Staying at Casa da Flor exceeded our expectations, big times. Our big thanks to our hosts.
