Reviews for Het Huis van de Wadden

Review 1:Owner of the hotel is so kind and cool. Thr accommodation was cosy and clean. The villige is small port and beautiful houses. We arrived a bit late but she was waiting us and greeted welcome. :)

Review 2:Super friendly couple running a quirky, entertaining, lovely little B&B. A few minutes was from a fine fish restaurant and a great stopover if you're cycling north towards Leeuwarden.

Review 3:The weather was rainy and we could have made so much more of the terrace if it had been warm and dry

Review 4:Very stylish! Beach house atmosphere and a real homely feel. Fridge stocked with wine and snacks. Family were super friendly.

Review 5:Guys, in spite I'm quite a sophisticated traveler, this house is really GREAT! You really feel here like at home. I'm a logical oriented person, but this house makes you FEEL LOVE that definitely lives in, of cause dew to it's wonderful owners. Thank you! This night was one of the best experiences in my (full with experience) life :)

Review 6:Although invited to help myself to refreshments in the kitchen, there was only one Teabag, the fridge had no milk, and I eventually found a sugar cube. Needs to be re-stocked more often. I forgot to mention this shortfall to the owner.

Review 7:Good value for money. Quiet location. Safe storage of my bicycle. Welcoming owner. A healthy breakfast.

Review 8:The couple who owned the b&b were really charming and cool. The room was quiet and very nicely decorated in an unique style! Breakfast was good and healthy, with good choice. The bathroom is situated on a different floor, with a steep stair, but for me that was no problem. Endroit très sympa, le couple parle parfaitement français, et m'ont acceuilli de cette manière très chaleureuse dont les Hollandais sont spécialistes. C'est très bien pour se ressourcer et découvrir un coin charmant.

Review 9:For our business trip they prepared lunch to take away! Wifi present and working

Review 10:Expensive for a room with a shared bathroom.

Review 11:The decoration and the breakfast.

Review 12:Steep staircase would be an issue to older people.

Review 13:Quirky hotel. Lively owner.

Review 20:Having to go downstairs during the night to use the toilet.

Review 21:The design, decoration and its individuality.

Review 22:the toilet is just outside the door, and if you are not a family , I think that you have to share with others. But it's not a big problem.

Review 23:excellent. we are 2 adults one son of 20 and one daughter of 14. We have all the apartment for us only. fantastic breakfast. Really "at home" feelings.

Review 24:Nothing. Stairs could be too steep for eldest or disabled.

Review 25:Excellent hospitality, breakfast varied and delicious. Room very comfortable and nicely decorated.

Review 26:Very nice Hosts who are trying to make us feel comfortable very much! We enjoyed our stay especially because they were ably to fix my bicycle very quick! Thank you!

Review 27:The bathroom is private but it's really far from the room. The stairs are really steep!

Review 28:The place is really big and you have access to the whole house. You can use the kitchen and cook. It's possible to park the bikes inside. It's like being at home. Breakfast is delicious!

Review 29:I did not like having to descend a steep stair in the night for the bathroom which was in another part of the house (though designated for our room). Not ideal if you are elderly, or need the bathroom several times in the night.

Review 30:The position, central in Den Oever, an easy walk to the harbour and along the dykes, which is interesting, and close to new cafe that makes snacks, lunch and diner. The breakfast was good and the hosts were kind enough to take us to the bus station in the morning.

Review 31:The blue room (two separate bedrooms, a small kitchenettea, a small dining room and a small garden) was just perfect for us-two couples with three small children. Although a bit small, it was very cosy and nice. The breakfast served by the owner was really lovely!

Review 32:having juice rationed to 1 glass at breakfast otherwise breakfast was splendid

Review 33:As a group of 8 we had use of 4 rooms, they were all nice and its unusual layout added to the enjoyment of our stay. Close to the dyke so handy for cycling
