Review 6：Perfect location overlooking volcanic stacks 'Deitado e em pé' and the island of Faial beyond. Bungalow-style apartment with huge terrace, large living area and fully-fitted kitchen. Helpful and friendly staff at reception, they offered to reserve restaurants and entrance to the Torres lava grottoes for us. 5 minute stroll into Madalena. Near bars and restaurants. on-site easy parking. public sea swimming facilities (salt water pool and lava rocks) a few yards away. There is a breakfast service you can book the afternoon before, but we did not use it.

Review 7：The bedroom facing the airvcon vents and the road (a bit of noise at night). Several things broke during our stay and where not repaired. I understand that the dishwasher needed a spare part, but the electric socket and kitchen cupboard should have been fixed.

Review 10：The location and views were superb. Apartment was clean, well-equipped, spacious and comfortable. Staff delightful. If returning to Pico, would stay here without hesitation.

Review 11：why have a hob - an oven and an extractor fan - when you can only use one at a time (!) without tripping the electrics (!) which meant a very long and trying time trying to cook a meal for a dietary needier person each night extremely time consuming and annoying to say the least hence why we went self catering :-(

Review 14：Location, steps away from the ferry Cleanliness, the bath robes, how spacious the living room & dinning room are. The large patio doors, leading out to a beautiful terrace overlooking vineyards and the ocean. The updated bathroom & bedroom. The updated furniture, nothing smells, kitchen with dishwasher & coffee maker. I'm extremely picky, I was surprised how much I liked this place.

Review 19：Humidity rises in the walls, which are probably made of local volcanic stones or porous material. There is not proper insulation of walls against moisture. You can feel a slight smell of mold in the kitchen cabinets and in the room. If you open window and ventilate properly it is gone. It is not a tragic but it could be solved by a simple construction corrections. You can feel the same smell in many houses in the island. It can be easily solved. We wish they do it because the place is beautiful.
