Review 1：A very nice welcome from John. He had my booking all sorted and our room was ready when we arrived. Plenty of tea and coffee and a fridge full of cold drinks to purchase. We got 2 free bottles of water each day. Plenty of information in the folder in our room. I would recommend to everyone visiting this lovely part of Thailand.

Review 3：We had a car, so location was ideal: easy access to highways to explore the area. Hosts very friendly and extremely helpful, providing hand-drawn maps to get around. Superb value for money: clean, comfortable, great facilities, at a very good price.

Review 6：I am traveling in Southeast on a very tight budget ... and the morning Iarrived in Loei I happened to walk towards The Stay Guesthouse, andbumped into another Backpacker from Germany who was also searching for acheap place in the early hours of morning.. I offered him to share aroom+cost with me, so when we pitched in the guesthouse long b4we're supposed to clock in, John (owner) was more than happy toallocate us a room and even switched our room to twin, and didnt evensaid a single word that I actually mentioned 'one person' duringmy online booking and now we are staying 2 instead.. John certainly goesfar out of his way to every single guest he hosts, the guesthouse wasvery clean, good big enough room, very neat bathroom with soap, shampooand towels on each bed.. Something else I must mention, Loei is the mostbicycle friendly town of Thailand, and bicycles for rent elsewhere arefor 60-100b per 24 hours but here you get it for absolutely free with afree map and guidelines.. I say the stay is the best.. I will rememberthis English hospitality forever :)

Review 12：The owners John and Tai became as my family during my stay. They took care of me in every possible way and we had amazing time together. The room was perfect and super clean. Don't look further: you won't find better.
Review 13：Remember this is a guesthouse. The standard of the rooms and bathroom (thai style apartments) is not 5 star... an old oversized AC, only one lamp (type tube) in the room. Go for the rooms in the receptionbuilding.
Review 14：The couple who run this is an ocean of friendliness and makes you really feel at home. The fridge with beer and drinks are nice and NOT overpriced. Loei is a clean and nice town w. some good restaurants along the canal/river. But to go to nearby town Chiang Khan is a must! It is beautiful with old style wooden houses, market, shops, and restaurang. Hire a bicycle and ride along Mekong river...
Review 15：The owner are very nice, understanding and caring. I did not book for myself but for my sister who was attending to the University's meeting. The owner was very helpful in every ways since the booking date until driving my sister to the university during the stay. We will definitely stay here again for our future opportunity.

Review 18：Steep access ramp from road Rain-water on metal roof was quite loud. Noisy fridge in one of the 2 rooms.

Review 20：We couldn't have asked for a better a place to stay in Loei. Our room was spacious and clean with excellent facilities. Really great value for money. The couple who run the guesthouse were extremely helpful and always on hand to answers any questions we had. We were picked up and dropped off at the bus station. They also offer day trips which was very convenient for us as we did not have our own transportation. We got to see many beautiful places in Loei that you wouldn't read about in a guidebook. We will definitely stay here again if we get another chance to travel to Loei.

Review 22：The owners were extremely friendly and willing to help. They helped me check for bus tickets and even drive me to the bus station when I checked out! The facilities were adequate and clean too.
Review 23：Our own fault- we left the light on when we went out in the evening and there were a lot of flies and mosquitoes when we came back- but the owners gave us some spray and sorted out the problem immediately.
Review 24：The STAFF John and his wife at Stay Guesthouse were incredibly kind when we stayed there. They were so friendly and even drove us to get our bus tickets and to the shops. They recommended us a place to eat and came and picked us up after dinner as taxis were scarce! The room was large, comfortable with lovely toiletries (actual large pretty bottles!) and we couldn't have asked for more for such a good price.
