Reviews for Tuck Inn Yarra Valley
Review 1:That we only had one night there! Next time we will definitely stay for longer!
Review 2:Beautiful property with great attention to detail throughout. Lovely well equipped bedrooms and fantastic communal sitting/living area with everything you could need/want provided. Delicious and generous breakfast provided in the morning. The best thing about the Tuck Inn however, is the genuine friendliness and hospitality provided by Donia and Ozzie, who are truly lovely hosts.
Review 3:Nothing. I will book for longer next time. One night wasn't enough in the area or the beautiful house!
Review 4:Dunja was just lovely. Eager to show us round and invited us to make ourselves at home. She made every effort to educate us on the area. Where to eat, drink, tours. The accomodation was gorgeous. Especially the living area and outdoor area and the breakfast was awesome.
Review 5:Nothing.
Review 6:Very lovely hosts - they are awesome. Great and comfortable room! Great recommendation winery trip advice! Delicious breakfast! I love living room and backyard :) Definitely come back again.

Review 8:Had an excellent stay at Tuck Inn. We wish that we could have stayed longer. Accommodation, location, communication and hosts all excellent.Highly recommended
Review 9:Well situated in the centre of Healesville with lots of places to eat within walking distance. Comfortable and welcoming property with superb facilities and amazing breakfast. Convenient for wineries tour which picks you up from the front door.
Review 10:From the moment we walked in the door Donia was super friendly, offering lots of great tips about things to do in the area. Our room was lovely. Simple but modern and perfectly clean. As a group we really loved the big lounge at the end of the corridor, it gave us a great idea for our dream batch. We had the place to ourselves (there was 8 of us) and could enjoy a drink together here or outside. Breakfast was amazing and far exceeded our expectations, Yummy. We stayed 2 night and Donia insisted on making our morning cuppa (then coffee...then another coffee) and remembered our order the next day too. Our host was a truly lovely and genuine person and we all gave her a hug when we left - she felt like family. The small touches - like cleaning make up off one of my makeup bottles did not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Can't wait to stay again =)
Review 11:Comfortable, lovely place to stay. Loved the little touches which made the place so unique.Close to town and Ozzie very helpful with ideas of what to do -
Review 12:We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tuck Inn. Donia was an amazing host and made us feel so welcome. The Tuck Inn is beautifully decorated, airy, spacious and modern - unlike any of the old fudy-dudy B&Bs I've stayed at in England!! Breakfast was delicious and cooked fresh to order, along with the best coffees in the Yarra. We would recommend the Tuck Inn to anyone staying in Healesville. A massive thank you to Donia for making our stay so enjoyable, fun and relaxing.
Review 13:The friendliness of staff, they were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We will be back and would recommend the Tuck Inn to our friends and family.
Review 14:We loved this place, we were made feel very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and the sitting room was perfect, a great added bonus for relaxing in when we came home from dinner.
Review 15:The lot, The Staff was extremely helpful The Room was clean and very comfortable The Breakfast, was 10 out of 10, the choice of food was 10 out of 10, and the service was 10 out of 10 Our Compliments to the chef, Excellent food and service with the Smile. Big Thanks to the Management and the Staff, we are planning our nest trip with the family and will stay at Tuck In again. Highly Recommended.
Review 16:Bed a little firm for me I was too short to reach the blind cord easily
Review 17:Friendly welcome, great breakfast, room - nice extras like water jug, hanging space. Didn't use the wi-fi. Would have liked to stay longer to enjoy it all more.
Review 18:Nothing....... If we had to suggest something, maybe a little radio or tv in the room. Though there is a big one in the sitting room if really needed.
Review 19:wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful they go above and beyond. Even cook breakfast for you. Beautiful old style property with a homely feel.
Review 20:The bed was very comfy the shower was great . The hosts Donia and Ozzie were so friendly and welcoming and they cook up a great brekkie . Would recommend the Tuck Inn to anyone.
Review 21:Could not complain
Review 22:This is a beautiful B&B that is centrally located in the township of Healesville. The hosts were very professional, welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The rooms are well designed and very comfortable. I would thoroughly recommend this gem!
Review 23:Loved the natural friendliness of the hostess and host, Donia and Ozzi, the little touches like warming the room before we arrived, and the relaxed and lovely breakfast.
Review 24:Great location, Donna was very personable and gave us great advice about what to do and see in the area. Great room/bathroom and the common area was comfortable and welcoming. Would recommend!
Review 25:Great central location and the hosts are warm and inviting without being too intrusive. Offered suggestions on things to do and places to visit. Breakfast was superb and freshly made for us. Beds are comfortable, rooms spotless, heaps of reading material and a great spot to just relax.
Review 26:Room 3 can be a little noisy if you are a light sleeper. One wall adjoins the lounge/breakfast area and the sound of the TV, chairs scraping the floor and cutlery can wake you. Not a deal breaker, but perhaps request a different room if you want a lie in.
Review 27:Warm and welcoming host who whips up a brilliant brekkie. Comfy room and lounge area. Excellent location.
Review 28:Very happy with our weekend stay during winter. It's in cental Healsville where there is plently to do if you are just after a quick stay or would be great to use as a base to explore the greater yarra valley region. Very accomodating and friendly owners. The building itself is lovely and the rooms spacious, well appointed and clean. Thanks for a lovely stay.
Review 29:Can you be too friendly? Apart from that there was nothing that I could say I didn't like.
Review 30:Accommodating, clean, beautiful decor, friendly, helpful service. The owner was very helpful, and accommodating to my needs. It was a relief to find somewhere that was so comfortable after a bit of a nightmare in a neighbouring town!
Review 31:Generally like to stay away from b&b's because some owners tend to think you're visiting THEM but this property was friendly without being like that
Review 32:Centrally located in Healsville township, close to Yarra Valley National Park entry points, warm & comfortable rooms with fast wifi & clean bathrooms, beautifully furnished, great breakfast.
Review 33:Lovely place to stay, the hosts are very welcoming, extremely friendly and make a beautiful breakfast!Lots of privacy, didn't feel like we were staying in a shared accommodation. Very enjoyable stay. Thanks!
Review 34:Beautiful room, fantastic hosts, comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower. Didn't have a chance to try the breakfast as we didn't want to get up that early but I'm sure it would have been lovely.
Review 35:Beautiful hosts in a clean, comfy, light B&B. Great breakfast and all the info you need about the area, top recommendation for dinner too. Would love to stay here again, would definitely recommend to friends.
Review 36:Loved the owners who made us feel as though we were at home. Ozzie was very pleasant upon arrival and his partner was just lovely when we met her the next morning.
Review 37:Wonderful little getaway in an excellent location, thank so much to Donia and Ozzie who we're very friendly and helpful with suggestions on what to do in the area. Would highly recommend
Review 38:We are a little anti-social so would have liked at TV in our room, but that is just us :)
Review 39:Hosts were wonderful and suggested places to go which we would not have known about otherwise and therefore completely enhanced our visit. (We were not there for the wineries so to have other options suggested was fantastic)
Review 40:Loved the clean fresh rooms and amazing service from the owners. We had a wedding to attend at yarra valley and this was the perfect place to stay. Highly recommend. Immaculate accommodation with superb breakfast. Wish I'd booked 2 nights.
Review 41:Nothing at all to complain about, but would suggest having a clock in the room
Review 42:1. Room was very comfortable and had everything we needed 2. Outdoor area was beautiful 3. Hosts were so helpful and lovely 4. Home cooked breakfast was delicious .... better than what I make for myself!
Review 43:Great hosts. We loved the large lounge / dining area with daily newspapers, tea & coffee always available. Just off the end of the main road but very quiet.

Review 46:The warm friendly hospitality. From the first moment we arrived we were made very welcome and made to feel at home. The location is excellent with walking distance to town facilities. We would definitely recommend this B & B to anybody and we would stay there again.
Review 47:Nothing. It was practically perfect.
Review 48:Donia could not have been nicer or more helpful during my stay. The whole style and decor is individual and beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and fantastically cooked.
Review 49:It has all been said in previous reviews! A lovely, comfortable little gem in Healesville. Highly recommended. I would love to stay there again. Thankyou Donia.
Review 50:That's nothing we don't like about Tuck Inn. It's chic and awesome!
Review 51:Both hosts Donia and Ozzie were very hospitable and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at their lovely boutique hotel. The interior have a lot of personal touch. Service was impeccable and the breakfast was wholesome and enjoyable. The hotel is centrally located in Healesville, which makes travelling around Yarra Valley very convenient. Will definitely be back again! Highly recommended to other guests :)
Review 52:Walls were a bit too thin... But I slept like a log.
Review 53:The owners were lovely. Breakfast was made to order and absolutely delicious. Definitely coming back! !
Review 54:Donia and Ozzie are fantastic! Warm welcome when we arrived. It was my partners birthday so they sung happy birthday to him at breakfast with candles in his meal. Just beautiful! Delicious breakfast Couldn't fault it!!
Review 55:That we had to leave!
Review 56:The service by Donia was impeccable! Right from the word go, she was so friendly and genuinely wanted to make sure we had everything in place in order to make the most of our stay! We even had an issue with our A/C late on the evening, however both Ozzie and Donia came down to fix it, not only did they do this, they even offered us their personal fan to ensure we were comfortable, above and beyond!! The breakfast was to die for... great work Ozzie!!Donia's latest course in Coffee Making was a great investment as the coffee's were also lovely. The rooms were great, very clean and bathroom also very well kept with a nice little touch of Rosemary. The beds were soooo comfortable and Donia also even let us check in early in order to get away on our Wine tour in time.
Review 57:The owner was extremely welcoming and accommodating. She made sure we were totally comfortable during our stay and was very helpful when suggesting places to go and things to do while we were in town. Just a really lovely lady.
Review 58:The owners were very friendly and helpful. They gave us a lot of great tips of things to do under our short stay and all of it was great! It felt like being home! Brekkie was delicious and I love the interior of the room. Also it was very tidy and clean. Safe parking nearby, close to shops, restaurants, cafes and walking distance to some brewerys. We were sad that we had to leave, will definitely come back on our next trip to Yarra Valley.
Review 59:Nada
Review 60:We loved everything here, from the warm and friendly hospitality to the comfort and cleanliness of the room to the yummy breakfast included and the cosy lounge for use by all. Wonderful stay, couldn't fault it!
Review 61:We found the hostess Donia to be very welcoming. She made us feel at home and provided an extensive knowledge of the area. The accommodation was excellent. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the Tuck Inn to any of my friends.
Review 62:Having a booking for two nights only...
Review 63:What makes the difference between a good and an outstanding accomodation? The people behind. Donia and Ozzie are two wonderful warmhearted, passionate hosts who understand to make their guests happy in every respect. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable!
Review 64:There is nothing
Review 65:The owners are lovely. We mainly saw Donia, as she greeted us and made breakfast the next morning. She couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. The place is decorated well, it felt like home. It has a lovely outdoor area with a bbq, and big lounge. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves (we stayed during the week).
Review 66:The bed was too firm for us but this cannot be called a fault. Bed firmness is just a personal preference.
Review 67:The proprietors are genuinely lovely people who think of everything. The room was luxurious and the breakfast quite simply amazing! The guest lounge is a wonderful place to relax, have a drink and play cards. Proximity to Main Street of healesville makes a night out for dinner and drinks so easy. We will be back!
Review 68:Donia gave us a very warm welcome and introduction to the Tuck Inn. The comfortable accommodation suited us perfectly as we were only staying overnight in order to attend the C J Dennis Festival in nearby Toolangi. The room was quiet and well-appointed, and the breakfast provided the following morning (eaten outside on a warm spring day) was excellent. With such a short stay we didn't use the guest lounge (note: it's a B&B, so don't expect TV, fridge etc. in the room), but the lounge was huge and provided everything needed for relaxation, including newspapers.
Review 69:This of course was our second stay,so,needless we returned due to the exceptional comfort, and the above and beyond helpfulness of owner's Donia and Ozzie,it's like having an encyclopaedia in your pocket as to the many destinations to visit. Fantastic breakfast,we cannot speak highly enough of this wonderful B&B
Review 70:It was the second time that we stayed in this place this year, and everything was as wonderful and in order to perfection as the first time! Donia's warm welcome is unforgettable!
Review 71:Could not find a fault with the Tuck Inn.
Review 72:From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Ozzie and Donia, they were extremely friendly and helpful with local knowledge without being at all pushy. Guests lounge was extremely comfortable with tea and coffee facilities provided and the seating area out the back was a very tranquil area to sit and read. Breakfast provided in the morning was yummy. A very enjoyable stay and we will definitely be going back and taking friends with us.
Review 73:Service was excellent. Staff were friendly and wonderfully accommodating. They go the extra step to make your stay a pleasurable one. Breakfast was brilliant. Highly recommend it :)
Review 74:The location was a very short walk to the town. Accommodation and breakfast excellent and great hosts who went out of their way to make your weekend very relaxing. What more could you ask for! Very highly recommended!
Review 75:Be aware that if you literally want to hide in your room, the TV, fridge and coffee/tea making facilities are all out in the common room. This is a nice feature though and considering that there's only a few rooms, you're likely to have the common room to yourself. Its like having a huge lounge room attached to your bed room.
Review 76:Doria and Ollie are the most warm and personable hosts. A very warm welcome and send off, not to mention attentive and informative conversations over Ollie's abundant home cooked breakfast. We decided that it would have been a great stay even if the place was falling down, due to our lovely hosts. The giant and beautiful common room was cozy and well stocked with things to do and the usual home comforts. We watched TV, read magazines and hung out in our PJs in the common room after dinner which was a nice change from being stuck in a hotel room. The Inn is right in town but just back off the main street allowing an easy stroll through town or drinks at the brewery.
Review 77:Tight parking
Review 78:Comfortable bed Very nice and friendly owner catering to all your needs Very clean Walk to all the bars and restaurants Delicious breakfast
Review 79:Made to feel very welcome from the moment you step through the door. A really enjoyable stay, clean, quiet and great location. I had the King Suite which was perfect.
