Reviews for Hotel 't Keershuys

Review 1:Wi-Fi signal was poor in our room. Very steep and narrow stairs. Some noise from the street. The shower alcove is a bit less private than your traditional bathroom, which may bother someone.

Review 2:Pretty much everything was great: Lovely room, welcome drinks, minibar included in the room price, lots of TV channels... The breakfast was amazing with great croissants, fried eggs on request and wonderful pancakes for dessert. There are also bikes available free of charge on request.

Review 3:It was in an old quarter of Deb Bosch full of character and a choice of restaurants. The Hotel was in a restored 17century building with modern rooms and facilities. The owner and staff were charming and very helpful. The restaurant was excellent

Review 4:Everything was wonderful.

Review 5:Lovely old building, totally renovated, modern rooms. Great shower, comfy beds. Great breakfast, very friendly staff. Overlooks a lively street, but noice wasn't a problem.

Review 6:Minor points - its an old building so the stairs are steep - imagine a spiral staircase, so if you have mobility issues its maybe not for you. If you drive into the town its difficult and frustrating to get there - but this is NOT the hotels fault - its an old town and the streets and canals were not built for cars.

Review 7:Totally modern hotel - but in an old building. Excellent facilities, welcome drink!, valet parking (it is chargeable but not expensive), mini-bar inclusive, very good restaurant, central location close to restaurants, bars and historical places.

Review 8:This hotel and staff were excellent, from the moment I arrived in my car (they come and park it for you, which is handy in the narrow streets) to the moment I left. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere, welcome beer and snack. The rooms are to a great standard and the mini bar is all inclusive in your rate. Fantastic location in the centre, with narrow streets, amazing bars, cafes and restaurants all in your door step. I would highly recommend this hotel, wether it be for business or pleasure, traveling solo or with a family.

Review 9:The hotel was charming. Very nice inside, and such a lovely building outside and in. The staff was wonderful, made special breakfast arrangements for my daughter with food allergies, and took the time to explain some of the history of the building and surrounding town. We were able to check in right when we arrived and were just blown away how nice the hotel is. Would stay here again any time.

Review 10:The hotel has narrow winding stairs and some rooms are open plan with no separation between WC and sleeping area.

Review 11:The owner and staff are wonderful. Great hospitality! Sincerely make every effort to ensure an enjoyable stay. The rooms offer a nice contrast between old and new and are well appointed.

Review 12:No elevator, narrow staircase - it may be a barrier to some people. Breakfast served only after 7 a.m. No soap bar, too little shower gel.

Review 13:Unique atmosphere of a small, local, almost family-run hotel. Great design combining modern and historic features, brand new furnishing. A very friendly staff. Fresh custom-made breakfast, not too big variety but good. Welcome drink and a delishious chocolate ball. Beautiful, comfortable room with free mini-bar. Strongly recommended.

Review 14:From the time we arrived to the time we left everything was great. A beautifully comfortable bed, a lovely bedroom and excellent food - especially the breakfast. Thank you!

Review 15:For me it was no problem. But the stairs were steep and small at some point. Maybe for some people these would be difficult to navigate.

Review 16:Everything was excellent, staff, accomodation, food. It is a young hotel with only a few rooms, in a historic building.

Review 17:The incense in the bathroom was a bit strong. The windows could not be opened because of the historic building.

Review 18:The staff was great and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. There was no lift but they carried our bags up for us. We will definitely return.

Review 19:Nothing!

Review 20:Super friendly staff. Great welcome (free drink on arrival). Small cosy atmosphere and great food (one evening meal). Beautiful room with great free facilities. Most other hotels could learn a lot from these guys! Spot on location only 10 minutes from train station and loads of great inexpensive eating places within staggering distance.

Review 21:Nothing except I could have stayed longer :-)

Review 22:I really like this hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable and really well designed. The owners really go to a lot of effort to make your stay comfortable and personalized. I can't recommend this hotel enough and will definitely stay here again.

Review 23:Unfortenatly we stayed only for one night...

Review 24:Very good location, very friendly staff, stylish room, free minibar, good breakfast. This is absolutely value for money!

Review 25:There is nothing to dislike.

Review 26:It was undoubtedly the finest place I have ever stayed. I was made to feel special and everything was done right I hope to return someday if I get the chance

Review 27:If you have young children or problems with climbing stairs you would find it difficult. They also did not have an iron or ironing board.

Review 28:going and his staff were very always very helpful, nice welcome drink on arrival. The selection of food available for breakfast was great and the overall quality of food available on their menu was excellent. Great location, near to the train station and 5 min walk to the centre of the city.

Review 29:Was a bit surprised to find the room had an 'open plan' bathroom. Not at all private as in the description.

Review 30:Staff were great; one girl in particular was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good especially as there are only a few rooms and breakfast is served over a long period. Building was quirky and well renovated (be prepared for steep stairs). The restaurant was lively and served excellent food. Free mini bar was a definite bonus.

Review 31:Air conditioning was a bit aggressive.

Review 32:Location excellent in the picturesque part of town. Lively street with many restaurants (including their own where we ate quite happily on 3 of our 5 nights); it must have been well soundproofed as we were not troubled by noise. The owner and his staff were extremely helpful and friendly, proactive but not intrusive in seeing to our comfort and possible needs. We had a car which we chose to leave in the yown instead of Park and Ride and they park it in a locked garage only yards from the hotel. Not a car park as such but they would drop everything and go with us if we needed to go there or would bring it to us if we needed it to go out. Breakfast very good, not the huge buffet of a big hotel but a good selection, and a choice of cooked breakfasts and smoothies made fresh to order as part of the breakfast deal. Rooms spacious and well equipped with a very large and qcomfy bed. Plenty of sockets for charging phones iPads etc and free wifi. Mini bar is free and tea and coffee available to make in your own room.

Review 40:Everything,,amazing place

Review 41:Everything shows a strong personal touch, which culminates in the careful preparation of the morning meal they offer you.

Review 42:Can be a little noisy at times but the rooms have good sound insulation. Its a trade off with the location and type of premises.

Review 43:Location is perfect.

Review 44:The staff are excellent and exceeded all my expectations.

Review 45:Great location, great value for money and friendly staff

Review 46:We loved this little boutique hotel in my fathers old home town. It was right in the middle of the vibrant old town, but very comfortable.

Review 47:Nothing to report

Review 59:Great place with super hospitable staff. Rooms with great ambiance and modern facilities. Very welcoming and helpful staff.

Review 60:Great room with excellent shower room. Very friendly staff.

Review 61:Valet parking 20 Euros. Stairs very steep, OK for us but not good for anyone with mobility issues.

Review 62:We were made very welcome. Huge bed.good breakfast. Interesting building. Close to railway station.

Review 63:The clear glass door on the bathroom! Should have liked an opening window but the air conditioning/heating was very effective and quiet so its just a personal preference. I worried about the white fabric upholstery!

Review 64:We stayed for four nights. The hotel is ideally situated and has character. The staff were consistently very friendly and relaxed. The Prosecco and Bossche Bol on arrival was a nice touch. The room was well equipped - huge bed! clean and comfortable. The free mini bar of soft drinks and sweets was much appreciated! The shower was very good. Breakfast was good , there was plenty of choice and no one rushed you - the hot menu selection was a little haphazard but everything was cooked fresh and what we ate was very good.

Review 65:Actually I liked everything, I have no complaint what so ever.

Review 66:I liked the authenticity of the hotel, charming and spacious clean room, excellent service of the staff, free minibar and WIFI, I was pleasantly surprised and hope I can find a room on my next visit to Den Bosch!

Review 67:i really didnt like the fact that my room didnt have a bath. in the pictures you can see a nice bath but then there is just one room with bath, the rest with shower. i chose this hotel for the amazing situation and the bath... and the second one was definetly not there..

Review 68:i really liked the situation.

Review 69:Right in the center of town, heaps of bars and restaurants just there. Very friendly and helpful staff, very nice and stylish rooms with all that you want! Modern interior in a classic old building. Excellent breakfast and very good bed. Good and easy internet connection. I very much enjoyed my stay and will be back for sure!
