Review 1：Very small room; but I believe that this is typical for Tokyo, and we were quite prepared for it.

Review 2：The location is fantastic - right in a large shopping precinct. A 10 min walk from Ikebukuro train station, with multiple lines to chose from. We had a view of Mt Fuji from our room on a clear morning!

Review 3：we had to wait for our room for about an hour after (!) checking in, even though the check in is from 2pm. The rooms were just not ready. Absolutely not acceptable for a hotel in this category. Also it was always understaffed you had to wait for everything at the reception! I never experienced anything as bad as this. Even hostels do work faster and are nicer! Breakfast was too expensive, atmosphere was like a fast food restaurant. Would NOT recommend this hotel and will definitely not staying again.

Review 4：Perfect Location for shopping and sightseeing. And the view!

Review 5：Almost can't get my parcel back, they gave me two boxes and two receipt, I found I should had three parcels in my record. I went down front office to check, they still mention only two parcels. End up I ask them give me check the signed receipt, one receipt was mentioned 2 boxes. They can found my third parcel in 2sec from the back. It was a very bad experience.

Review 7：The room is too small (but for shopper addicts well you just need room to rest or sleep) the toilet is so small like in the airplane. The view from the room not so bad.

Review 20：The hotel staff should provide/ inform the customers the Tokyo MetroGuide on the first day of all tourists' stay.When I approached the hotel staff on the first day of stay for the Guide, she just merely pointed to 1 of the racks and told me to get it from there. BUT there were no more guides on the rack. The hotel staff should check the racks and refill it daily as this guide is very essential and useful for tourists who are there on free and easy vacation like me. When I wanted to make payment to the counter staff for the Air Limousine Bus that I booked, she was taking her own sweet time and continued doing her own thing (folding a rag)! When she knew I was rushing for time as the bus was already there, she still took her own sweet time to process the payment and did not pass me the tickets, resulting in I had to run back to the hotel to take it.

Review 21：The location of the hotel is good as it is close to Subway Higashi-ikebukuro station, just about 5 minutes walk from the hotel.The hotel provides free Wifi connection within the whole hotel. The hotel is linked to the shopping mall, Sunshine City where you can shop for different stuff and there is a variety of eateries and cafes. There is a family Mart located just at the ground floor near the elevators which is very convenient for tourists to buy necessities, food and beverages. There is even a 24 hours Seiyu nearby. There are also cafes and eateries nearby the hotel. Most of the hotel staff are approachable, helpful and efficient. There are hotel staff who are able to communicate in different languages such as English and Mandarin besides Japanese to cater to the needs of different tourists from other countries who stay there.

Review 22：The room. It was entirely too small. I have already given the managementat Sunshine City Prince Hotel my comments. I'll give them again.There was hardly enough room for 2 people to turn around. I cannotunderstand how Prince Hotel can call this room a double room. In commonparlance, it stank! I'll not pay my good money for a sub-par room.The same holds true for the bath room. It was entirely too small. Pleasetell future patrons about this shortfall on the part of Sunshine CityPrince Hotel. The staff was helpful, the buffet breakfast was great, butthe rooms just didn't cut it.

They didn't change one of the dirty cups. -The room was so cold. If you are pretty sensitive to the cold, I don't recommend this place. Or you should prepare eletronic blanket I think..

Review 46：The room is a bit small for a standard twin room like a lot of the Japanese local hotel. I am traveling with 2 young kids, plus a few luggages. Thus, a bit tight in space to organize the stuff.

Review 47：Location is in the Sunshine City Which is a huge shopping area. Near to the Ikekuburo JR station once exit is another big shopping streets and Malls. Easy access to Japanese eateries. The hotel is very considerate to provide 2 children packs which include a toothbrush, a small cute teddy hankerchief and a pair of teddy print slippers.

Review 48：The air-condition did not work (room 2226), and we went to the reception to complain, the temperature in the room was more than 25 degrees, and no fresh air in a very tiny room. The receptionist just gave a bad explanation about getting air in the room. Set the ac to zero he said and open the toilet door

When trying to find a return flight to Paris, due to the strike of Air France pilots, I extended my stay and changed my reservation three times the last day nevertheless I was welcome each time at the front desk: I had just to change for a new room which was immediately made available !

Review 54：Checkout time was 11am. To extend will cost 2000 yen per extra hr unless you sign up as a member, then maybe you can extend till 3pm. If taking a limo bus to airport and need a receipt, better to charge to room as they will keep your receipt making it difficult to claim. I think they need a renovation especially the aircon and the bed. If sleeping on your side, bed spring will press against your ribs.

Review 60：A little far from the main Ikebukuro train station. The carpets in the room were pretty dirty. Free wi-fi was hard to access. Luckily we had brought our own converter that allowed us to get wi-fi in our room using the internet cable in the room.

Review 61：The hotel is on top of a mall, so there were stores and restaurants close by. Also, the airport bus picks up right in front of the hotel, which was convenient. The hotel will also hold your bags for you for free. The staff was helpful.

Review 62：Main switch is needed to turn on any light which means all lights has to be on or none at all. Can't even have a reading light without all the lights being on. Using the bathroom in the middle of the night? Need to do it in the dark or wake everyone up to turn on the light. Only one plug for everything so bring extension cord if you have multiple units to plug in. They do have one for the room but can only plug in three units at a time.
