Nestled in the Serra de Monchique Nature Reserve, the charming and rustic Casa Spa d'Alma features an outdoor pool, hot tub and a sun terrace. Review 2：I loved this place and wish I could have stayed longer. Manuela and Theo were so welcoming and have made a beautiful place up in the mountains. The jacuzzi was great and the pool refreshing. The garden is so beautiful and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The bedroom was lovely with fresh flowers in the room and the breakfast was the most delicious we have had during our trip around Portugal with eggs, home made jam and lovely croissants. Manuela, I hope your headache is better. I was concerned when the shower leaked water across the floor and perhaps there should be something to stop it coming out. My husband was a bit worried to see the hose pipe across the terrace and this did spoil the perfection of the garden! But we would definitely love to come back.
Review 3：Location was on northern approach to Monchique to Lisbon, and a lovely drive. We used the GPS co-ordinates to get there! We love the unspoilt feel of Monchique, and it's not that far from the beach once you want some quiet, and to explore the hillier side of the Algarve. We enjoyed meeting the owners and hopefully sharing our spaces with them one day. Nice family feel. They also offer holistic therapies. Breakfast was wonderful with their homemade jams and abundant fare. Home away from home.

Review 6：Everything was absolutely perfect! Manuela and Theo were really nice and they helped us with everything we needed. We enjoyed with all they offered but what we enjoyed the most was the breakfast!! An incredibly good way to start the day! We will come back!
Review 7：We were originally searching for an Algarve Spa Hotel. This is a delightful B & B We were more than happy with Spa D'Alma but if we hadn't read the website before we booked, we may have been disappointed

Review 9：An oasis of peace and calm, beautiful setting in the hills near Monchique. Manuella and Theo are welcoming, lovely people, speak excellent English, we had lots of interesting conversations together. The breakfasts are delicious, beautifully presented good quality food. Loved the toasted granola made by Theo [with coconuts and honey] yoghurt, marmalade made by Manuella, warmed bread, perfect eggs! Their pet dogs and cats are charming, you will be bowled over by the gardens so pretty. Our room door opened onto the garden with flowering trees and lemon bushes, we were greeted be the birds each morning. As it was cold, Theo lit the wood burner each day in the communal lounge which had hot drink facilities, sofas, TV, and a lovely big dining table. It was for our use throughout the day until around 11pm if we wanted. Everything was lovely in Spa D'Alma, great value. We didn't use the hot tub which is kept hot all the time even though its outside. Big thanks to you both, and little Mona the young cat.
Review 10：The hosts were extremely warm and accommodating. The B&B was also very comfortable - rooms are nice and private, with a lovely garden and common area. Delicious breakfast every morning with many homemade treats. Extremely peaceful and relaxing.
Review 11：Great place to 'chill out' away from the 'beach scene' and it's location is absolutely ideal for walking in the Algarve countryside. Still, the south coast is only 30 min away by car. The communal breakfast was a daily 'cross-cultural' delight and both European (croissants, ham, cheese etc.) and N. American (granola, yogurt) tastes are catered for (and the fresh-squeezed orange juice - Oh man !!). In addition to being wonderful hosts Theo and Manuela were also great sources of information concerning Monchique (best restaurants, local walks - with hand drawn maps !!) as well as providing suggestions for more extensive day excursions in the Algarve.

Review 13：This great place is located outside of the center, about 10 min drive. We had a car so it was perfect for is. The rooms are big and clean, fun to stay in and very comfturble. The garden is absolutely beautifull, didn't want to leave it! We enjoyed a hot jacuzzzy in the evening which felt like heaven! There are lore of tracs to walk around but restaurant are a drive away (again for is it was ok). Manuela was charming and welcoming, gave us tips and everything we needed. The. Brakfast was delicious! Go for it!

Review 25：Fabulous room, heavenly bed, lovely gardens, wonderful hot tub, trees dripping fruit, healthy and sumptuous breakfast. Manuela and Theo are wonderful hosts - helpful and informative but not over-attentive. We felt truly welcome and the whole place exudes an atmosphere of relaxation.

Review 29：A fantastic place and perfect location for exploring the area. Theo and Manuela were great hosts and couldn't do enough for you. No fridge in the room but you have the use of a big fridge in the garden utility room. No air con which may be an issue in the height of summer. There is a room fan which was fine for us in May - daytime temp upto 30 degrees. Great views. Pool and jacuzzi were superb. Breakfast first class. Very relaxing indeed.

In the price included is the free usage of a jacuzzi, that is inthe middle of the garden with views to the surrounding hills. The BnBis located in a small hamlet surrounded by hills and forrests. Wlancan be used for free.
