Review 1：The room was horrible the beds were like rocks and their was someone's blood on the walls of the apartment was very disturbing to see

Review 3：Receptionists didn't know how to process a payment with a credit card. Made me go withdraw money from my bank acc at an ATM, when i already had money on the credit card account, ready to be collected.

Review 5：You get exactly what you pay for! Value is great. Very nice lady on reception helped us out, didn't catch her name, she was there on Monday 9th and Tuesday 10th afternoon!

Review 6：The only thing I would say is that there are very few sunbeds and a lot are broke and need replacing! The hotel is full of stag and hen dos which was fine for us as that's what we went for however I would say that it is not a family or couples hotel so if that's what your looking for I would avoid it and look elsewere.

Review 7：perfect location as this hotel is right on the strip! Read a lot of negative reviews before going and was a bit apprehensive but at the end of the day you get what you pay for. I traveled with my friend and we went for the weather and for a drinking holiday so was perfect the hotel had a great location and was clean and suited it's purpose. Yes the hotel is a little dated but it is clean and cheap so what do you expect for the price.

Review 8：Not enough loungers for guests. I went to the beach everyday. Noise at night from the strip. Remote for the tv didn't work. Beds very uncomfortable

Review 12：Right on 'The Strip'! If you are looking for a more genuine Portugal experience, this isn't it. It's a steep walk to the beautiful beach at the opposite end of the strip. Dated resort... Old fridges/microwaves/cookers etc. Beds are very firm. First accommodations (block one) did not have air conditioning. Villa we moved to did have it so it was much more comfortable. Bar staff were slow with the service, and not very enthusiastic.

Review 13：Right on 'The Strip' so if it's nightlife and bars you want, you couldn't be better situated. Accommodations are dated, but kept clean. We were able to move into one of the villas. Very nice (but dated!), Reception staff were usually very helpful (one person was not).

Review 14：The beds were terrible a prison bed would be more comfortable I'd imagine...!! we stayed in a studio. The balcony door wouldn't lock ,there wasn't enough sun loungers and the ones were there some were broken..!!

Review 25：Air conditioning did not work, we reported it 3 times and nothing was ever done to fix it. Light fell off the wall and hit me on the head. Staff were friendly but they never addressed problems. Gave us 2 fans and 1 was broken.

However, can't complain too much considering we paid £440 for seven 30 something lads for 4 nights over a weekend in June!

Resort has massive pool that even with a big group your not annoying anyone if things get loud. We had two 3 bed appartments and one 2 bed apartment. Wasn't a problem with them. Review 45：I have stayed at Villanova 4 times. my dear wife passed away last year but I wanted to go again to see how I would feel on my own. we had been going to that area for over 16 years. Just went for a week to see how I would feel on my own. Got through, location is excellent, plenty of bars and eating places in the area, all you need is within walking distance. The reception staff could not have more helpful or courteous. Did everything you requested without hesitation.

Review 47：Spacious friendly complex ideal for coues groups and families who want a base no far from pubs and clubs. It was quiet enough for families. If you want culture and nice scenery maybe stick to the old town.

Its a Party Hotel Thurs to Mon with stags & hens but was Perfect for what we wanted and 1 minute walk your in the heart of the strip. Review 52：We really loved the Vilanova Resort. All the staff were so friendly and the resort was so clean. The pool was really big. We were right on the strip close to lovely restaurants and bars. We had a fantastic holiday and we would definitely stay here again.

Review 54：The staff was amazing. The guy that attends the place at night is super friendly and offered us great tips and allowed us for late checkout. The hotel location couldn't be best if you are going to albufeira to party! It's IN the albufeira strip.

Review 55：It is not such a family resourt, most people are teenagers in groups, making a lot of noise, including at night, and dumping empty beer bottles everywhere. The rooms are really old fashioned and dark. There was a dead cockroach right in front of the apartment door. The apartment had no swiming pool view as I had asked, the light of the bathroom was not working and I showed the pictures of the cockroach and of the many empty alchool bottles outside of the apartment, so they switched me to another one significantly better, with a pool view and balcony. Ants attacked our food inside of the apartment. One of the beds was full of tiny bugs. Finally, the bathroom towels had many holes.

Review 56：The location is excelent, in the center of a street full of restaurants, discos, stores and a supermarket. The pool is large and the pool area is very pleasant with lots of trees. The staff (namely the pool bar staff) is friendly and the room was cleaned every day.

Wanted a spare key one night as my son had taken our key out and the woman on reception was rude and would not give me one for a good half an hour. Eventually she did but it came with abuse.
