Review 1：Reception is the face of the hotel. When in reception is playing Russian gang rap it does not look credible, more like in garage style hostel.

Review 3：However there was one day, i believe the sunday, i couldnt have my chappucino at 11am in the morning next to the window at the entrance of the hotel. (i enjoyed the view there) The hotel room itself was ok but not clean as i imagined. The hotel room was comfy but not too comfy. It was fine.

Review 15：This is, no doubt, a very good place to stay in Kaunas. Excellent location, with most attractions within a short walk away. I took a train from Vilnius and it was a very reasonably walk from the train station to the hotel. On my way back to Vilnius by bus, it was an even shorter walk to the bus terminal. The Museum of the Devil, Akropolis, and the War Museum are all close by. The breakfast service is more than adequate and the service staff are friendly, polite, and seem keen to please. I look forward to staying there again (but in a better category room, for sure) on my next visit.

Review 16：Main parts of hotel are pretty bland. Hotel is probably a 3* standard by most European standards. Although hotel is about a 10/15 walk to old town this can feel like more on a cold rainy November night. Overall a good experience though.

Review 24：Only slight issue I had was out of the executive suites booked up, the room with the king double bed was was very comfortable but the one ordered as a twin, the 2 single beds were too uncomfortable.

I could not recommend the Hotel Kaunas more highly, and will stay again when I visit Kaunas next time.

Review 43：This was my second stay at the Kaunas. I love the location as it's close to family and friends, and lovely cafes and shops are located up and down the pedestrian avenue. Our room was large by European standards and quite comfortable. Wi-fi was strong. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good and typical northern European fare, but get there early or you'll miss out on a favorite item or two!

Review 59：The hotel's location is excellent and within easy reach of just about everything, especially as most of the sights are within walking distance. The room, service and breakfast were of a high quality and as a value for money city break we'd recommend it. They even gave us a take out breakfast because we had to check out earlier than the hotel's set breakfast time.

Review 61：Hotel was in a very location only a short walk to the old town and near some lovely bars and cafes. Reception staff were very helpful, even organising a taxi for us when we arrived to Kaunas at 1am due to a very delayed flight. The breakfast was also excellent with plenty of choice.

Review 64：Very central hotel, friendly staff and clean welcoming rooms. Our balcony was lovely for relaxing in the evening sun. We had to leave at 5am for a flight and we all got a packed breakfast to take with us. Near all the shops and bars.

Review 65：It is appalling that a hotel will take a booking 2 months prior to our arrival. Admit that it accepted the booking but despite this,refuse to honour it when we arrived. The receptionist did find us alternative accommodation in the town. She, at least was very professional.

Review 75：We had a room facing pedestrian street. It was a Saturday night and a lot of noisy drunk people were passing that street during the night. Better choose B wing of the hotel, which is in the backyard.

Really value for money this hotel!

The pool is small, but that didn't matter, because there was no one else using it when we visited. The hotel's breakfast buffet offers a large variety of traditional European morning fare -- plenty of choices for any appetite.

Review 90：Do not believe the pictures of the rooms - the best ones are taken in the main (old architecture building) and the possibility to receive a room there is very poor. The rest of the rooms without proper view (in the backyard) are tidy, but standard, nothing that would make the hotel special. The breakfast buffet - the staff serving the meals are combing hair, tiding their clothes, picking in their teeth, doing other things their should not while serving the dishes, bringing clean dishes.

Review 92：Further things were really disappointing and after this experience we will not come back there anymore. Due to the room was really big and not much furniture or other decorations we could hear echo while we were talking. That does not create a cozy atmosphere. The hairdryer was broken. Things which were used in the bathroom was really cheap and low quality. For an example shower curtain, toilet brush and toilet paper... even we don't know where to buy such thing. It does not look proper for 4 star hotel and superior room. In our room we also find hotel rules book. We understand that every hotel has some rules, but there rules were written in really rude tone which did not sounded welcoming.Some of the stuff looked not really friendly. While we were reading reviews and saw the pictures we really expected something better, but after our negative experience with the hotel itself we hoped at least to be surprised with breakfast. But that was even more disappointing. Despite there were much choice, but the food tasted like plastic and not eatable. Really strange scrambled eggs, tasted like paper, coffee...even we don't want to call that brown drink coffee.Bread was not fresh, we had suspicion that it was left from the last day.Our advice don't choose this hotel. In this price category, we would recommend to visit Kaunas Santaka Hotel. There our stay was really pleasant.

So I would advice if they cannot guarantee one of new rooms, choose another hotel, since it doesn't worth that money. Review 99：I liked the location of hotel. It's perfect to spend one night for a business trip or to make an express tour of the city. The hotel offers you everything you need. Standart hotel atmosphere. I have no opinion on breakfast as I oversleep it. Parking available. Review 103：I really enjoyed my stay, which was a mixture of business and leisure travel. Front desk staff was most helpful, nice and professional young people. Rooms are very clean, well equipment with all you might need. Yes, WiFi signal is bit poor so if you travel purely for business, you might not be 100% happy. However, that would be the only thing I would highlight to others. Other than that, this hotel is a bliss and if I am ever back to Kaunas, I will stay there again.

Review 104：It was rather cool and windy in deluxe rooms. The central heating hadn`t worked yet and the air conditioner didn`t have warming function. After sunny Mallorca it made us feel not so comfortable as it could be.

Review 106：The area which could be improved is definitely breakfast. There was plenty of different things, but most of the hot things were barely warm, eggs were cold most of the time and scrambled eggs were somewhat strange and I would never guess what this is. Coffee was powder-based, and juices were some sort of plastic tasting drinks. A bit shame for 4 stars hotel.

Review 107：Quite easy to find, next to main pedestrian street, short walk from Old Town. Free parking, a bit tight but ok. Rooms were reasonably spacious, with all standard features, like safe, fridge, etc. Free water, which was nice detail. TV was there, not much used, but rather small and pretty low quality reception. There is a fitness room downstairs and small pool (5x4 meters maybe) together with sauna. WiFi was there and was free, but especially on the second day it was very unstable. But, I liked the fact it was just normal secured network, without annoying web-based authentication.

We were 15 people . The restaurant prepared a beautiful and delicious buffet for us . They made sure all the details were satisfactory .

Review 109：Stained furniture and outdated interior. This used to be very nice hotel but the interior and furniture didn't change for the last 10 years, it badly needs renovation. The value for money simply isn't there ! The air conditioning units does not have a heat option which is appalling these days for 4* hotel.

Review 111：Excellent location, everything is near by (old town, restaurants, stores). The hotel has newly renovated rooms which are very clean, comfortable and spacious. We stayed in main building (A) for 5 nights and had a view of the pedestrian street...wonderful! Lots of life on the weekends. We had 2 rooms, so we also had a room in the B building, which was very nice too. Parking is free (we had a rental car). Breakfast is outstanding! Lots of choices. The staff all speak English and were very kind and helpful with any questions you may have. Felt very comfortable at this hotel. We would definitely would go back and highly recommend this hotel for a visit in Kaunas.

Review 112：Booked a delux room, but was put into a very small room, which we think was originally a single room as it only had a single headboard fixed to the wall. When we complained we were told we requested a room with a view of the Main Street, and that these rooms are always smaller! There was nothing delux about the room. The receptionist was very polite and moved us to a bigger more delux room which was to our liking.

Review 114：First of all location is great, walking distance to old town where lots of great bars and restaurants. Staff friendly, young and very helpful. Stayed in Deluxe room, so got a pleasure to use big balcony and enjoy September sun with glass of bubbly :) Will definitely stay again!
