Reviews for Summit Ridge Alpine Lodge
Review 1:I must say that I have attended this Lodge during the Ski season for anumber of years but I may never return to the lodge again. Havingexplained to the Hotel Owner Keith that the Hot water in the Shower wasintermittent on Sunday( 20-9-15, the hot water totally failed on themorning of our Departure(Mezzanine suite) and having advised the Ownerall he could say was that the Boiler had failed and shrugged me off .Our suite had no hot water or hot water radiators operating. Theattitude and response was very poor and if my family with children waswith me then I suppose the attitude would have changed. I have travelledthe world but attitude like that and total disregard for importantamenities like heating and hot water is very poor in deed.
Review 2:The Restaurant was excellent and full compliments to the Chef and staff.
Review 3:Not the cheapest Concidering room size.
Review 4:Great friendly staff, as a food critic I can honestly say the quality, taste and presentation of the food was amazing. The rooms a little small but no lack of comfort, Suna and spa was also a great compliment to the amenities.
Review 5:We did not have a bad experience. The Wifi did not really seem to work in our room but we were able to get some optus 3G coverage so it was not a huge problem. We did have a bit of a delay at breakfast on the second morning but we were given advice the night before about coming at the beginning or end of the breakfast period if we wanted to avoid any delays as they were pretty full at the time and on this morning we came bang in the middle of it.
Review 6:This is the second time our family of four have stayed at Summit ridge with 6 years between stays. On both occasions we have been blown away by the fantastic food and friendly service provided. The facilities are simple but really functional and completely satisfactory.
Review 7:Stairs were bit of a challenge for our little one.
Review 8:Anne and keith were really helpful and lovely people we strongly recommend this place to everyone food was great
Review 9:Everything generally great, but room would be improved by hooks for hanging jackets as there is limited wardrobe space. More data for wifi, 300 mb per room is too little. Hot tub should be called warm tub as not hot.
Review 10:Fantastic food, ski in ski out, great drying room. Great spa. Falls creek a beautiful place to ski.
Review 11:We had a fabulous time! The food was absolutely amazing, like being at atop restaurant and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Willdefinately be back later in the season!
Review 12:The staff were extremely friendly and the location was amazing. Loved the view from the room and we could step out the door and catch a shuttle down to the village.
Review 13:The shower was very temperamental and hard to regulate
Review 14:Anne and Keith made us feel very welcome. Food was delicious and location was great. Enjoyed our stay and would happily return.
Review 15:Hosts Anne & Keith were extremely welcoming. The lounge/dining area was very pleasant. Meals delicious. Location was superb allowing access to both the Village Bowl and Falls Creek Village.
Review 16:Wine list a little pricey, BUT given the range of wines available AND the costs of deliveries on this mountain, I can appreciate the service provided.
Review 17:Location, ski-in/out access, AND THE FOOD - what a great menu, both breakfast and dinner, and a joy to experience the selections each time. Good FREE Wi-Fi, just need to ensure access outside the return home rush!
Review 18:Dated rooms, small and not suitable for all Stairs would make it difficult for older / less mobile individuals Sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable, mattress felt like it had pins sticking out!
Review 19:Good restuarant Drying room Ski in, out Half board
Review 20:Rooms did not have great setup for preparing in between snacks. i.e. no Toaster or Microwave. T.V. reception was very poor considering amount of money paid. Unable to get certain channels - 10 and SBS. (Unable to watch Tour de France!!!)
