Review 1：The staff was very friendly and helpful, providing directions, local information, contacting transportation, and helping us with other needs. The pool area was very clean and we enjoyed the use of the pool, hot-tub, saunas, and exercise room. It is a very nice environment and all the "temperatures" were right. The included breakfast was amazing with excellent variety and friendly staff. Our room was very comfortable with a good view of the palace area. It was great to be so close to the mall and the walking street/theatre. We walked many places but took the cab a few times but even these were all under 4K away. Housekeeping services were very good and our room was perfectly clean. We've stayed in many hotels and this is one of the best...which is amazing considering the value. The staff seemed very concerned with providing good service which is indicative of good management and the employees really made a difference. Great Stay!

Review 2：Excellent hotel and 5-star services. Liked the location very much, easy to reach anything we needed. Forgot big amount of cash in safe in room, personel was very cooperative and friendly - 100% was returned without any problem or delay.

Review 3：Sometimes you could smell cigarette smell in corridors probably from the common ventilation from the bar. However this was not very bothering.

Review 9：I have stayed in over 10 hotels in Iasi. In my opinion International is the best in town. If compared to other luxury hotel - Pleiada - International is by far much better. Pleiada may be luxury but the attitude is very sovietic while International provides the services at the levels similar to those in Western Europe.

Review 12：It was very noisy, a lot worse than what I expected, the rooms are not soundproofed at all, that's a serious problem if you're on a business trip and you need rest.

Review 14：The staff was very helpful and friendly, really great. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and I had asked for a card to be waiting for her in the room. When we checked in, we were happy to find along with the card, chocolates and a bottle of champagne. The breakfast buffet was also truly excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

Review 15：Breakfast is very good. Different kinds of fruit, omelette, bread, yogurt and the coffee machine was pretty good. The spa is a bit small but comfortable. Bedroom with a lot of amenities and the bed is really comfy.

Review 16：air con was disabled which meant our rooms were very hot, problem solved by opening window! Very loud party on one night til past midnight and reception were not very helpful or sympathetic, though music did get a little quieter after complaining.

Review 18：Actually we can fit all that we liked in one word: everything. Our window had view on the park and the Palace. The Palas Mall is located next building. Room was comfortable, well equipped, well maintained. Good sound isolation. Bed was huge and really comfortable. Breakfast food was plenty and various. Personnel was ok, smiling, polite and helpful. The price displayed at the reception desk was considerable higher than we paid by our booking.com offer. What we paid for it was excellent value for money.

Review 26：We arrived in Iasi on spec looking for a quality hotel with availability at short notice. Most were full but very helpful, but at the International Iasi, the staff member who was about to help us was rudely interrupted as we were dismissed out of hand by one particular staff member stating they had 'nothing'. We went to a bar around the corner where I booked a Single Suite on-line (standard rooms, junior suites and single suites were all available in multiples!) and were given some rather embarrassed BS by said individual when then checking in. Fortunately the Hotel was good and all other staff were great and for this reason we re-booked at the same hotel toward the end of the trip. Breakfast was included, and with the offering being a little limited (and with some strange options!) I would have been disappointed had I paid.

Review 27：Very up to date, clean, comfortable hotel located at Pallas with the shopping mall and a wide selection of great restaurants and bars on the doorstep, plus free parking with reserved spaces in the public car park around the corner and staff on the whole are excellent.

Review 35：The bathroom was not clean at all, toiletries were not changed and half used from previous occupants. There was chewed chewing gum left on the table in the room. We were extremely disappointed as we had high expectations from a brand new hotel. I complained about all this at the hotel reception and received no response, except a very poor apology. I had a bottle of water from the mini bar and they did not even offer that for free after my complaint about the disgustingly dirty room they had to offer. Unfortunately I had paid for the room when we arrived without going upstairs to see it, and they took advantage of this and did not offer any discounts or anything. The receptionist stood there with a silly smile saying there is nothing they can do. Very noisy from all the bars and coffee places that are in front of the hotel. I will never step foot in this hotel again!

The receptionists seemed arrogant and acted superior ( a unfortunate attitude in Romanian service branch) towards me as a client. Seemed unprepared like not having information about bookings of the day ( something I never experienced before in any other hotel). The breakfast was poor for the 4 star hotel. The shower has some weird fancy glass door that does not work to keep water from running on the bathroom floor. Could be an unpleasant surprise to find a big pool of water when you´re done with your shower.

Review 47：Probably the best hotel in Iasi. Luxurious rooms and superb views over the city or Palas park. Good internet connection and easy to access. Close to the shopping area, cafes and the city center. The cleanliness of the rooms is very high.

The temperature in the breakfast room was stifling also. When I mentioned this to the lady at check-out she smiled sweetly and said nothing else.

We had had the chance to stay in many hotels in Romania and around the world - from super 8s to Ritz Carltons and have to tell that the International Iasi is worth easily 5 stars not 4 as rated. What makes this hotel different to other hotels in Romania is the staff and their attention to the details. I would like to recognize Oana Toader and Oana Baltaru from the reception, they treated us with so much attention and kindness, thus making us willing to return. They are real professionals. I need also to mention that the rooms were very clean, the beds were very comfy and the breakfast was very good. Keep it that way!!!
