Review 1：We wanted somewhere to stay during the week-end of the gastronomic fair in Machico that was reasonably close, but away from the music. This suited us well. We didn't try the breakfast as we ate out each day. We'd use the Residencial Prisma again.

Review 2：The worst thing is that the place is located above a sharp hill, so is quite difficult to arrive. There is free wifi but only in the common places, not in the rooms.

Review 3：The staff (only 3 people) was very kind and the room was quite good, you feel like in home. You have to pay 3.5€ for the breakfast but it really deserves!

Review 7：Excellent choice if you want to spend the night close the the airport. It's about 10 minutes drive downhill. The room overlooked the runway and the ocean, but the noise was not disturbing. Furnitures in the room a bit old fashioned, but clean. The staff was kind. A very good breakfast starts at 7.30am, so probably you can't have it if you have a very early flight.

Review 8：big holes in the carpet. very very dirty room. matress had holes from cigarettes. no heating available. brown water in the shower - disgusting! black hair in towels. plastic bin already broken. bathroom fixtures rasty and half way off the wall....... etc

Review 9：A lot of bugs in the room: 2 centipedes, 2 worms and 1 spider... that we saw! Really old sheets, with holes. Rusty shower. Terrible pillows. Stained carpet. I´m glad we only stayed there for a few hours.

Review 10：Close to the airport, but not within wallking distance. The owner was nice and took us to the airport at dawn for 10€, pretty much the price of a taxi.

Review 11：Owners are very friendly. Shuttle service to airport. We stayed there to get the plane in the early morning and for this it was a positive surprise. Ok, the hotel has seen better times, but it is clean and everything was there what you expect for such a price. Also the sea-view is not a lie - in fact we could spot some dolphins from the balcony with binoculars. If you are interested in planes the view on the airport might interest you even more - for us it was interesting for an evening, but the hotel is probably not a candidate for the whole stay.
