Review 1：Staff were very unprofessional. Treated me like I was a child,(I'm 21) when I checked out they tried to keep the $100 dollar damage deposit even though I hadn't broken anything. Will never go there again.

Review 8：There were boogers on the wall. Advertised fridge and microwave and didn't have one. When I asked they said only some rooms have them I asked for one of those and they said all rooms were booked. It was almost 7pm and there were 3 cars in the parking lot so he was obviously lying. The wifi was poor and so was the cable .
Review 9：Why is pool locked up in early July? They said they were waiting for an inspection? That pool has been there for 10+ years. Didn't have the type of room reserved available, beds pretty hard, no place to put shampoo/soap in shower.

Review 11：The pool needed cleaning ( lots of leaves) office was closed when I went to check out. needed to ask for more towels each day. Remote for TV would not shut off or turn on the TV

Review 13：Was out all day, got back at 11:30pm to find my window covering left open with all my stuff inside the room. My bed had the blanket and comforter thrown on a chair next to the bed. When i went to ask management about it they said the only thing they could do was give me a late check out time. I had to be up and at an event at 7am so that was no help. Very poor will never stay there again.
Review 14：The AC and fridge didn't work. My neighbors threw a party until 3am with the door open (the walls are thin, mind you), and they threatened to "gut" a man who came out and yelled at them for being inconsiderate.

Review 20：This is a very modest, plain kind of place, which is all right, but certainly is not trying to provide luxury. My only complaint were the gadgets. The tv was awkward to use, and the wi-fi was sort of off and on.

Review 24：The pool was dirty, they knew I could not walk up stairs so had to ask for a different room.I told the room staff I didn't want my room serviced and they went in and did it any. That really made me mad. They locked me out of my room and I had to gave my key rekeyed. Over all I would never stay again.

Review 26：It looked like there were people living there. The grounds were unkept, the pool was dirty. There people staying there that made the property seem like a halfway house. The beds were very hard. The kitchens had nothing in them to cook with.
Review 27：bathroom sink didn't work; lamp didn't work; *telephone didn't work; shower head was removed and couldn't be replaced; housekeeping never reported the above to management. *[Desk said they corrected the phone but no dial tone was ever achieved.] I wouldn't stay there again.

Review 29：the shower had a unwrapped used bar of soap in it so likely had not been cleaned. The matresses were worn and squeeky and one of the blankets was similar to a cloth you would dry a vehicle with. While the staff was friendly she was not able to locate my reservation easily

Review 42：The room was dirty, with leaves and scrap paper on the floor in the bathroom (we couldn't bring ourselves to shower there) and near beds, sticky stuff from glasses that had been on nightstand was gross. No empty plugs to charge phones/computer other than one by bed and two in bathroom that were too close to sink and water. Had to unplug the clock and move the fridge/microwave to get to the other, no plug where coffee maker was, hence unable to plug computer in to use at table. No hair dryer, no towel racks, walls covered with children's scribbles, chair stained with what looked like ink. Wifi was awful, bad signal, slow connection, kept losing it. Manager should probably be checking on those maids, because I don't think they're doing what they're being paid to do.
Review 43：It was convenient to where we needed to go. The man at the front desk was very nice (staff=excellent refers to him only), and the bed was pretty comfortable (but didn't dare use the sheets). Was quiet at night (I use earplugs), grounds are nice, lobby lovely. A friend had stayed before and said it was good, so I was really surprised at the poor quality of the room. Still, for one night on a budget, I guess it's OK, but will never stay again.
Review 44：Typical Motel 6 type with 5 steps from door to car. Provided soap was only 1x1 inch and a joke. No problem if you bring your own.
Review 45：Value, cleanliness. A solid 2 star but not 3 star. Owner admitted that he never considers star ratings, even though his is one of the few "3" stars in Chico.
Review 46：Beds were like sleeping on springs, the beds were not made until we complained, garbage was not emptied, toilet seat was broken, told the manager but was not fixed. Would not recommend this place nor will not ever stay there again. Kleenex box on the wall, the face plate kept falling off the wall to the floor.
Review 47：6:00 AM garbage pickup would have been very disturbing if we weren't already up. Likely the management has no control over this.
Review 48：Staff was very friendly, room very clean, exactly as advertised. Considering some of the negative reviews, I was quite pleased. It's on a busy street so there was some noise, but nothing really disturbing. This was a short trip with my oldest grandson and we were very comfortable.
