Review 1：The chair to desk was broken but we forgot to report. No problems otherwise.Bedroom carpet teeny bit grubby but guests should be more careful.

Review 2：we had a large double room overlooking the local village and the sea beyond. nice bathroom. (bath with shower overhead ) small modern hotel , quiet but interesting location. by the little marina... good breakfast. taxi to airport approx 10 euros.Small balcony but nice for fresh air. Lift.

Review 7：Far too close to a noisy nightclub that started up at around midnight and finished at 4.30 am (Fri - Sun) so bring earplugs. Breakfast was fine but eggs were often almost cold. Should have better researched area as Machico quite cool at this time of the year.

Review 14：The hotel is very nice, it is situated very close and within walking distance of most important areas of Machico. Great cusine in the restaurant. Mrs Fatima and Mr Manuel exceed in making you feel at home.

Review 15：Rated as 3 star but way below the standard set comparatively with other3 star accommodations on the island. There was no mini-fridge, noironing board facilities, the tv is actually a small pc monitor screen& most important, there was no air-con in the room which made itimpossible to sleep with 28-30 degrees outside & extreme humidity.We had to leave the balcony sliding door open & could hear the noisecoming from planes taking-off & landing, cars accelerating &people shouting & laughter! Apart from that, the bathtub bottom isquite wobbly & gives you the feeling it will collapse at any pointunder your feet while you shower. No safety rail was installed on thetub also so people with disability or of older age might find itdifficult to get in the tub. When we asked for complaint book afterpaying 120 euros for 2 nights, the owner was heard saying: "if theywanna complain, let them write!" and we were also told that"if you don't like it, you can go somewhere else next time aswe are always fully booked!"

Review 46：The hotel is ideally situated, close to the airport, less than 10 minutes drive. Parking was never a problem. The room was spacious and the bed most comfortable. Its a good place to use as a base to see the rest of Madeira. I will be going back again!!

I had White Waters Chicken Breast with rice and salad (the least costly item on the menu): generous portion and delicate subtle flavouring, perfect with a glass of house white. Self serve breakfast was wholesome and appealing with fresh bread, cereals , fresh fruit, yogurt...and more. Coffee unlimited. :hotel decor is elegant, elevator efficient, strong wifi in foyer and dining room and ethernet in bedroom, no charge for either :room is spacious, well equipped spotlessly clean and comfortable with glass doors to spacious balcony; ample linen, extra blanket on single request. Hot water always available :during my stay there was a storm and my partner and boat were in trouble over many days. The owner's gave comfort, help and extra good care. Really exceptional good people with an exeptional hotel

Review 52：- The hotel is in a lovely location - 5min driving from Funchal airport - the beach is right across the street, and you also have bars, restaurants, convenience shops, pharmacy and post office within 2 min walk distance. - the staff at the hotel are very nice and helpful - I stayed in a room on the 1st floor so I thought it would be noisy, as it was right on top of the hotel's restaurant. Once you close the balcony door you cannot hear a thing, which was a very pleasant surprise. - the room was clean and modern, very comfortable - the bathroom was small, but modern and clean. - continental breakfast available + bacon and eggs - would stay at this hotel again on a future visit to Madeira

Review 53：Rooms are quite small, but manageble. The issue is the noise from outside and from inside (Walls are quite thin I suppose. You hear the doors closing, wardrobe doors smashed, etc). No air conditioning.

Review 54：The hotel is very close to the beaches (pebble and sand) in Machico. The people at the reception are very nice. Breakfast is acceptable, also dinner is ok. For a mini vacation in Machico the hotel is alright.

I wish I could come back there soon :)

Review 57：Perfect! A beautiful hotel and room. Very friendly staff. We decided to leave at 4:30 in the morning to walk to the airport and they not only accomodate this, but also prepared us a breakfast pack. We enjoyed our short stay.

The rooms can get quite chilly during winter time asthere's no heating. The bathroom smelled at times faintly ofsewage. Not really a fault of the hotel but there's not that muchto do in Machico. Fortunately Funchal and Baia d' Abra are around30min drive away.

Review 61：A really nice design hotel right in the center of Machico. Theroom's windows and balcony were facing the sea. The beach is around300m away. The room was kept clean every day. Good shower with hot waterwhich isn't always a given everywhere in Madeira. The staff wasextremely helpful. Hotel's restaurant/cafe was really good andalso favored by locals.
