Review 1：Location wasn't great surrounding the hotel. Parts of the hotel were a bit run down and the view from the pool were a bit spoilt by the building development in front of the hotel.

Review 2：Big clean room with lovely view of the ocean. Close to Kuah jetty and only 20 minutes from the airport. Staff were nice and helpful. Staff at breakfast were very nice but a little bit on the way as there was so many of them.

Review 3：Old furniture, hard bed. Requested for a non smoking room but room given smelled cigarette smoke. Complained to housekeeping and reception but they only came to spray the room with freshener. Didnt solve the problem at all.

Review 11：The biggest issue is that the hotel is quite run down - the room had a slight moist smell when we entered. The hand shower in the bathroom was broken, which made us request for a bucket and mug to bathe our infant. Everything in the room was old, although functional. The management has to buckle up and start refurbishing the hotel. There is no staff to take us into the hotel (upto the reception) and guide us to the parking lot. In fact, when I was trying to carry luggage and my infant, a staff ran from the reception to help me. I am sure a person can be placed at the entrance for this. The restaurant housed within the hotel does not have as many good food options - especially for vegetarians. We looked for food outside. However, breakfast was well served. There are no directions to this hotel from roads around the hotel. It was hard for us to locate the specific road.

Review 12：The staff are very courteous. We got everything we asked for, even a bucket and a mug for bathing our infant. The location is good only for island hopping from the kuah jetty - otherwise you are far away from everything else. Free parking helped. Breakfast is good - they have fresh juices, fruits, and many vegetarian options.

Review 18：The Hotel was ok to spend a day or two at! Rooms were decent but dated! We stayed in a executive room on 14th floor with access to the executive lounge. Not much to choose from and only water and a watery juice to drink. Not worth the extra money! All in all an ok hotel with which was only 3 minutes taxi ride from the jetty.

Review 19：Poor service by housekeeping - they only did our room at 1500 hrs on the second day, very slow! One unfriendly staff at the Flamingo entrance - the lady who tends to greet some patrons with a sulky face. Hotel is old-school - dated furniture and decor in the room (also has a damp smell) and some public areas, renovation is much needed to freshen up the place!

Food is horrible (it was a semi cooked with raw smell in the vegetable curry that we ordered ) No towel provided in swimming pool. We have to carry our room towels all the way down to 4 the level.

Review 74：Hotel located inside Kuah Town with all shopping and restaurants nearby. Extremely friendly staff. Our baby fell sick and the staff made sure we were given all the support even past midnight wen we had to rush to the hospital. Taxi facility available round the clock from nearby taxi stand. The hotel has an alarm bell to call the taxis at their doorstep. Good breakfast and room facilities with a nice view. A great pool too.

Very spacious room with basic amenities such as iron and prayer mats. Breakfast provided was ok but the quantity is less. Cafe staff quickly picked up the dirty plates and cups and clear the table. Our holiday was very enjoyable and would probably stay at this hotel again if coming to Langkawi.

Did you upgrade us? :) We were treated to a complimentary mini high tea which was appreciated as we did not manage to have lunch. There were two waiters who were very attentive. Shiv, an intern from India, and the other was from Nepal (can't recall his name now but mentioned it in my feedback form). During breakfast they helped us with our drinks and ferried our food back to the table. We could be more relaxed even with our two active kids. Our family also enjoyed the tasty breakfast. The rendang was yummy..compliments to the chef!Found the location convenient..close to shops where I could get chocolates and kitchen stuff :) Taxis readily available so we did not have to rent a car.

This is our fav hotel ever.

Review 134：If you're coming to Langkawi for the first time, I wouldn'tsuggest staying in Kuah Town. It is not a tourist area and is very quietunless you plan to hire a car to drive around which I definitelyrecommend.Also, don't use a debit card to check-in/check-out because it causes a little bit of a hassle although easily fixable. The business centre/tourism office on the lobby level is a complete joke. I went in there three times to ask about tours and he offered nothing. I asked about car rentals and he offered nothing. I'm not even sure what he did all day, just sat there. Didn't offer to help us look for anything or ask how we were going. Just, a waste of space.

Review 135：Azizura (I think thats the spelling) was extremely pleasant and helpful.She checked us in smoothly (despite a little hiccup with the debit cardissue but that wasn't her fault at all). The staff were always veryfriendly and courteous which was a plus. The hotel itself is pleasant,clean and a nice place to stay. The swimming pool is nice although luckythere is a wall because it faces out to construction and buildings whichisn't so nice.The hotel is located in Kuah Town, an extremely Muslim area, which if you're not wary, may be a complete culture shock. My friend and I were completely misinformed that this was a nice little cosy tourist area. Tourist area would probably be Cenang, not Kuah Town. Checking out was good although there was another issue with the debit and the manager had to call the bank to cancel the hold. That was all good. Overall, great hotel/breakfast/staff. The only let-down being the location. Thanks for a pleasant stay.

Review 138：1. For the price that I paid for the deluxe room per night I believe it's overpriced. I was expecting for a room that look exactly how it was illustrated in Internet. But I forgot that was for illustratation purpose only. Overpriced!!! You may able to get a better room at chenang beach.2. It was located far from all the prime and interesting place, this hotel is located at the dead town. 3. Breakfast!!! My only request is I hope the chef who cook the fried noodle and koey teow taste them first before serving it to the guest. I tried them and I couldn't feed myself after the first spoon. 4. The bed was not comfortable at all. It was like sleeping on top of a rock. 5. Receptionist very bad. I did complaint about the channel. 1st receptionist told me she will get back to me and as usual she did not. I called again after 30 minutes and the 2nd receptionist gave me the best answer ever that They never had such channel but when I told him that I watched it yesterday he started to tell me that it's due to the weather but when I question him why I all the other channels are can be viewed he blamed the service provider. I was speechless. Then came the techinican after 30 minutes who again blamed the service provider. Whatever! I went to the stone bed earlier.

Review 141：No seating are ie no lounge as such therefore the only place to sit was in your room. The entertainment (Frozen) were bordering on the diabolical, to say that the couldn't sing was an understatement. The guitarist was acceptable and if had not been fo him I don't think we would have stayed more than 5 minutes
