Review 1：The beach is not meant for swimming

Review 2：The location is very good, just 15-30 minutes away from the airport depends on the traffic. The resort is very nice, staff were accomodating. Rooms are clean and they have the most comfortable bed. I loved our stay in this resort!

Review 3：The beach was disappointing. No surf to swim. Always low tide. Found out that this area of Palawan (near airport) is like this. Need to go farther north. The WI-FI was hit and miss. Most of the time miss.

Review 5：When I came to check out at 6am somebody hadn't turned up for work so there was no one to settle my account with. You are reliant on the hotel to take you to the airport but the driver decided to hide as I couldn't check out. In the end, I caught my flight just as it was closing. Food is ok but breakfast is poor and the same very limited choice every day.

Review 6：A nice hotel off the beaten track but 10 mins or so from the town of Puerto Princesa. There's a really nice feel about the place but it could better without too much effort. The accommodation is decent but fairly basic. The staff are very friendly but not necessarily efficient.

Review 7：Fooled by photo. Beach was not for swimming. Low tide and muddy. Rooms are not beachfront. No phone or ref in the room. Not 3 star. But staff was nice.

Review 8：It is not a 4 stars hotel, of course. It is small villas grouped in a club. There is no refregirators in room, toilet zone is in common with bedroom (separetion is not full), water and electricity fail regulary, wifi as poor as you can imagine. It is not a problem, you just have to know it.

Review 9：Personnel is friendly and solves all questions. Location is comfort for excursions. The athmosphere is quite and relax. Genius manager Nicole is really efficient.

Review 10：Nothing special (no pancake or omlette ) for breakfast, the beach can't really be used as there are huge sea gras fields and kilometers of shallow water before you could actually swim, compared to the price the standard was not sufficient. It was a 20 Minute tricycle drive to the city (150php 1way).

Review 11：Design of beach cottages is beautiful, staff helped right away when they forgot to put water in our room or when we were unghappy with the position of our cottage. We wanted to be closer to the beach and could change to the first hut in the row.

Review 12：Sometimes multiple items were not available on the menu (like dishes with banana). Even though we experienced this also in our next resorts, resort should try to avoid this. Surrounding resorts/neighbours caused some noise in the evening although the resort can not help this. But good to mention it.

Review 13：Very relaxed atmosphere. Warm, very flexibele and helpfull staf. Nice combination of beach, pool and restaurant area all together. The design, furniture, music choice etc of the hotel is excellent, felt like Ibiza / Bali. Totally unwinding!

Review 18：We asked for breakfast before 7 because our underground river tour was before 7. They said it would be arranged but the next day there was nothing arranged for us. I also missed a telephone for room service and the beach was low tide during the day, so you have to travel to other beaches.

Review 19：The staff was friendly and accommodating. They did their best to arrange things for us, so we could relax and enjoy our vacation. When our underground river tour got cancelled they advised us to learn surfing from Josh. It was amazing and so much fun! The pool area is very nice too. I loved the view.

If you are looking for western options this is not the place for you. Also if you want a place to walk out of room and into the nice water, this isn't for you either.

Review 23：The overall atmosphere is very relaxing to look at. The bed was very comfortable and the staff was friendly.

Review 24：Nice and quiet seaside (not really a beach). Comfortable bed. Great food served at dinner. Warm and accommodating staff. A great stay! If you take a walk along the beach at night, I swear you'll see the most overwhelmingly beautiful stars. It was like a scene out of Life of Pi. I was speechless and completely in awe.

Review 28：The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Although it is located quite a distance from downtown, the place offers a tranquil environment. It is a great place to relax.

Review 31：The staff needs to be trained more on paying attention to the guests needs and not just react to issues but to be more pro active before the issues come up. For example, I was told my ride to the airport was at 2pm. I stood in the lobby from 145 to 215 when I finally asked them where my ride was and they just called it over as it was there waiting. If I didn't ask, I might have missed my flight. Also, this is really not a beachfront resort as there is no beach.

Review 33：No room service was bearable and okay, but the restaurant was only open till 9~10pm which could be a problem for people who like midnight snacks. The floor and towels were not that clean. There were some grease or detergent left on the floor which made it slippery. The towels smelled nice but had a few old stains on it. Pinoy style breakfast was a bit salty.

The overall design of the whole place was beautiful and the pool water seemed clean too. The Mango Jam served at breakfast was absolutely delicious!!

Review 54：In arrival we had to ask for new linen as there was visible yellowish stains on the sheets. They changed right away. No fridge in room. Door didnt lock properly. Bin collection at 7am right next to us and smell was overwhelming. On payment we were hit with a high out of hidden extras than quoted by booking.com. Airport pick up on arrival was a no show and had to get a taxi. Breakfast was included but we still had to pay for a small bit of extra fruit and rice.

Review 60：With the location being pretty isolated from town, the menu needs to expand a bit more. More selections that can cater to any local or foreigner. By the second day we decided to order take out instead of dining in. Provide more than one fan in the dining area to prevent insects from dropping in while people are enjoying their food. Offer fresh seafood especially being right by the beach. Provide water activities such as kayaking, fishing, etc. Add a phone and fridge in the room.

Review 61：The staff was excellent. Very accommodating and helpful in every way, no improvement needed. The location was good and the set up was very relaxing to any vacationer. Tour's were readily available if desired ask for Echo or Joey.

Review 62：food at the restaurant- plasticky scrambled eggs. one time the scrambled eggs was too salty like someone accidentally poured salt in it. corn soup is too watery like they just poured hot water in it. In general I dont really think they know how to cook properly. They don't even know how to boil an egg the right way which makes it hard to peel (you peel your own boiled egg). I really think they need to better their kitchen. When asking for make up bed they dont change sheets. One time i asked to make it up because our sheet was dirty it was still the same one. So i asked for towels instead to cover my pillows because it was dirty. It never came until we left. The whole time we were there no one swam in the beach. It is low tide in the afternoon so there's no water there at all. I saw a small sea snake so I did not dare to swim there at all. We can hear everything from the outside and the next door neighbour. Its really annoying when you hear the tricycle outside and people speaking outside your door.

Review 66：Not located on a tropical beach but a tidal estuary and the chalets are not on the foreshore as depicted but rather arranged in a horseshoe so the views are into other guests' chalets - a lack of privacy which necessitates the curtains being kept closed. The bar and dining area have loud, doof-doof music (multiple banks of large speakers) from 1000 to 2200 that can be heard from all over the property and 'beach'. The property is new and sitting in a sand pit with little paving or plantings. Sand gets into and over everything. The breakfast, content and protocol is weird.

Review 79：The case of the disappearing shore was a disappointment! Another was a call made by one staff named Yani(?) who called a day after we left trying to collect money which she said I need to check! She was trying to say I failed to pay the full resort charges forgetting the front desk made all the calculation on the amount I need to pay. She was claiming the amount booking.com confirmed as the rate for a 2 day stay is less than what I need to pay! I double checked the amount booking.com confirmed adding the 25% taxes and service charge and the payment I gave was correct. I cannot believe they have a staff who do not know how to compute? Lastly, the resort must do something about the transport available going to the city!

Review 81：The receptionist was not accommodating on the date of our check in - June 13, 2015. My husband and I felt that we are not welcome. We love to travel and we do meet a lot of people both local and overseas and we can rate her hospitality as "poor". we almost had an accident going to the airport on the 15th of June as the driver was driving too fast with slippery roads and he does not use signal lights or horn. Two incident happened and the last was almost touching the tricycle.

Review 82：The ambiance is good. Jia was very accommodating even with the tour arrangement we made. I find her pleasant and nice. The waiter (tall-dark guy) gave us a commending service from the day we arrive till we depart. I forgot to ask his name though.

Review 83：Management is quite poor. There is no organization. They forgot to pick up us at the airport and no apologize was done. One day they cut the water in our room for works in other room and they forgot to turn it on, so we had an appointment and we arrived late, another day they fogot our put new towels, we made a reservation with the hotel for a tour and they forgot to confirm with the agency...etc... the beach is moody and it has tides, so it is not a beach for having a bath

Review 84：The hotel it is really nice and its located near the beach. The staff are extremely nice. Rooms are big and clean. They allowed us to check in earlier and they did not charge us more. we really like the barman, the cocktails are awesome!!! The beach for sunbathing is really nice and the chairs for lying are really comfortable.

Review 91：Guest must be informed of the exact tricycle fare amount, it varies from one driver to another. For the transfers from airport to hotel (and back), the hotel should be strict to all guests. This causes inconvenience to other guests who abide by their schedule.

Upon check-in, we disclosed details of check-out (4pm),paid for our lodging, arranged for airport transport. Our last (fourth)day was spoiled as we had an argument with a staff named Yani(?) when at3pm, we were told we will be charged additional hours because she'sinsisting our stay is only until 12 noon. Same staff during check-in,when she asked what time is our flight, we answered 18:20, and she askedus, "Is that am or PM?" (Go figure her comprehension skills!).Another receptionist made it unnecessarily difficult for one of myfriends to get medicine which turns out they have stock all along. Adifferent recepionist didn't get back to me regarding a request Imade. We have a few other encounters with them but generally, our senseis that when approached, the receptionists try as much as possible notto exert effort and will just provide you off-the-cuff info just so theycan say that they were "responsive" but really they are nothelpful, and some have bad attitude.

Review 96：Food! We liked all dishes that we ordered and the servings are big sothe price is actually reasonable. Resto-bar staff and groundspeople/room cleaners are very courteous and helpful whenapproached. Rooms are simple, uncluttered but provides all essentials.Nice to spend hours lounging at the pool area. Public toilets areclean. Manager gets in touch directly with guests for major conerns,albeit through pone only.

Service was slow and poorly coordinated, the place isn't as-advertised (no televisions, despite what their website says), kitchen didn't have everything on its menu, WiFi was virtually useless, noticeable cracks and stains in/on the walls despite being new construction, the memory foam mattresses were too firm for my taste, and the site is far from the center of town (not walkable), from our room we could hear loud music playing in pool area until well after midnight (had to use earplugs to sleep).

There is no television in any rooms even after they advertise it in the broucher i have.The Internet is terrible the white sandy beach is mud flat. Review 111：Staff were courteous and friendly. They were ready to provide assistance and attend to our needs. Impressed by the structure of the property with the pool, villas, restaurant, bar and a scenic view of the sea. Food is delicious and a must-try in Puerto Princesa. Room is spacious and bed is very comfortable. They are a property in-progress because they have recently launched and we were already amazed. What more can they offer if they are already smoothly sailing.

Review 112：Beach very average. The ocean disappears everyday because of low tide. LCD televisions advertised, but no televisions in rooms. Doors do not lock very well, very concerning with personal belongings in room while away. You cannot drink beverages in the pool. The huts have bamboo ceilings, which is a cool concept, but you can hear every conversation outside the room, not to mention the booming stereo at the pool each and every night. This property is priced way to high for what it has to offer.

Review 114：The hotel location, the food, the pool, the bar and wonderful very friendly staff!!!! This was our first stop on our honeymoon in the Philippines and was a great start to the holiday.

Review 115：The food at the restaurants is fine, the buffet dinner wasn't good. we asked the staff if it was a bbq buffet dinner, which they confirmed but then when we got there it was mainly american food (hotdogs, chicken, mac&cheese, mashed&gravy etc.) which was not to our liking. but this is the only downside we found at the hotel

Review 116：We stayed at this resort but we didn't use most of the facilities and attractions, we motly enjoyed the pool, beach, snorkling, diving and spa. The resort is very big so there are a lot of people there, but it does not feel too busy or noisy. The spa was a bit expensive but beautiful and great massage. The whole resort grounds are clean and well taken care of.

Review 118：Everything, by far the nicest place we stayed in the Philippines. The huts were amazing, very clean, new and fresh. Very heavenly relaxed atmosphere here, peaceful by the beach and nice housey relaxing music by the pool with gorgeous Philippino dishes served at the resturaunt. Sharon and the staff are brilliant and will do their best to accommodate you in anyway. Highly recommend this place for young or old! If we ever come to Palawan again this will be our first stop!

Review 119：I hesitated to tell you a white lie to say that the place is terrible so that I could keep this little paradise just for myself but it wouldn't be fair to the owners who just opened this place and are trying hard to give it the success it deserves. The location is great and the place looks like a fairy tale place in the middle of the city. Access is not that easy and makes you feel like you are out in the jungle and the resort is so secluded that it is hard to imagine you are still in the city. It feels like you're on an island. Je pourrais mentir et vous suggérer d'éviter cet hotel afin de le garder seulement pour moi mais ce serait injuste pour le proprietaries qui essaient de leur mieux de faire de cet endroit un petit paradis. L'endroit est parfait même s'il est encore dans la ville de Puerto Princesa. L'accès y est un peu difficile mais cela vous donnera l'impression que vous arrivez au milieu de la jungle d'une petite île. Je reviendrai souvent à cet hotel. Seul bémol à ce paradis la plage de sable blanc parfait ne dure que 10 mêtres après quoi le sable qui est tellement fin se transforme en boue blanche moins agréable. Vous risquerez aussi de rencontrer de petites méduses dans les algues qui couvrent le sable transformé en boue. Mais à mon avis ceci n'est qu'un petit inconvenient comparé aux avantages.
