Review 2：Big,spotlessly clean room with plenty storage.Huge shared terrace where you could have breakfast if you wished and fabulous views to the river,island and sea beyond.Very pleasant owner and her daughter.Delicious,buffet breakfast.Quiet at night although right in the small town of Cabanas.

Review 11：They accomodated our late (1AM arrival. Clean. Comfortable beds. Very good location. Warm & friendly hostess. Secured parking. Nice public area for guests.Provided hair dryer , extension cords( to charge electronics) and extra pillows when requested. Good breakfast.

The lady of the house was charming and the whole experience was just a perfect end to our time in Cabanas.

Our 1st floor bedroom opened out onto the terrace, we even had this to ourselves and used the sun loungers a couple of days. The view from the terrace was lovely. The service overall was very personalised.

Review 21：The 'blinds' had to be kept closed at all time as otherwise it would have been too public. Found this made the room like a cave - and as a result claustrophobic. No tea/coffee making. Also 2nd ( and thankfully last ) morning the breakfast was dreadful - no coffee, no edible bread, no ham/cheese, no orange juice and noone to ask to replace theses items. I had a hard piece of melon and poor tea.

Review 37：We received a warm welcome from this excellent family run hotel. Our room on the ground floor was spacious and clean and the breakfast was delicious with all fresh produce. Free, good parking and wifi was a bonus. Nothing but praise .

Review 39：Everything about this guesthouse is lovely and would we stay here above anywhere else in the resort. The rooms are very clean and there is plenty of wardrobe space. We stayed in room 6 and it has a sea view and the shower was huge. The owners are lovely welcoming people.

Review 40：Perfectly situated guesthouse overlooking the Ria Formosa. The guesthouse is very spacious, clean and comfortable room. The added benefit of a spacious sunny terrace and lounge. The breakfast has a good variety of food items. Irene, the owner, is the perfect host and goes out of her way to make you feel at home. We originally booked for four days and ended up staying for six days. Highly recommend this guest house.

Review 41：This is a great location near Tavira and the Ria Famosa Natural park area. The rooftop patio looks out on the lagoon and Cabanas island with the ocean beyond. This family run guest house is very clean and offers a fantastic breakfast. Great hosts!

Basic facilities but everything you needed and staff who could not do enough to please you despite their limited English and our limited Portuguese!! Liked the share lounge with glasses, corkscrews and tea and coffee facilities - meant buying a bottle of wine on at the supermarket to share on the lovely roof terrace was no bother. Lovely fresh breakfast and ideal location. Fantastic place.

The first floor patio and guest loungewere ideally situated for enjoying the view directly over the RiaFormosa. There was very little traffic or boat traffic in winter, so itwas a very quiet and relaxing location. In summer there would be a lotmore tourists and more to do. The owner was very helpful, although herEnglish was as limited as our Portuguese, so we communicated viaSpanish, French and thanks to Google's translator. There are superseafood restaurants very close by, as well as a bowling green and golfcourse or two.There are nice walks nearby and easy bus links to neighbouring villages / Faro.

The breakfast lady was absolutelybrilliant. The location cannot be faulted either. The only downside isit can be a little noisy in the morning but that only helped us wake upso we could enjoy every available minute in Cabanas de Tavira.

Breakfast was fine,with fresh bread rolls and a selection of fruit, cheeses and cookedmeats.
