Review 1：Took some three telephone calls to find-out if I got a room with the view that I wanted. Staff acts as if guests are fools to come to their hotel which I can't quite understand why as it's an OK 3 star hotel. Perhaps if staff would be more responsive to their customers' requests they would have a higher rating?

Review 2：The location is perfect for a new Year's firework in Iasi - if you don't want to stand outside in blistering cold.

Review 3：The room and the bathroom, even if was refurbished some years ago are ugly. The overall impression from the hotel is that you don't want to touch much (doors, lavatory, wc) and you want to leave as fast as possible. At the breakfast there is not much you can choose from and the quality of the products is worse.

Review 6：Awful WiFi, I had to move the table and my laptop next to the door to receive a reliable signal. The staff are by no means rude but I would expect a higher level of courtesy from a 3 star hotel. Also, I was prevented from using the gym because my trousers were 'too much like jeans'.

Review 8：Service and staff are terrible: we had problems with the minibar,a few alchoolic drinks were missing in the fridge when the we entered the room. When we left the room they charged us the drinks. Impossible to let them understand that we never drank anything (we don't even drink alcohol). It's realy miserable what happened. Hotel absolutely not serious. they, without hear any excuse, charged money from our credit card.

Review 10：All rooms were renovated to good comfort standards. The location is the best in town, next to Palatul Culturii and Biserica Trei Ierarhi, which are the major attractions in town.

Review 11：It's not very often that I am leaving disappointed from a hotel. Old fashioned hotel, same communist staff, maybe some lost new young people. Staff very bored, (would have been the hot day?), strong cigarette smell in the room, air-con switched off by the hotel after a while, breakfast horrible and looked like you're getting food poisoning just by looking at it. Extremely disappointed as the location is perfect. I would really reconsider a full refurbishment of this Hotel.

Review 15：The hotel is very centrally located, the room was spacious enough and clean. Also, I travelled to Iasi for a friend's wedding and the hotel allowed me to check in early in the morning without additional payment to attend the celebrations. That was a nice bonus.

Review 24：The main advantage of the hotel is the location, right in the center of İaşi, very close to the Palace of Culture, the newest shopping mall and the pedestrian street, with some points of interest, including some nice churches. The Moldova was the mainly hotel in İaşi during the communist period and some things still remember those days: the reception area, the telephone and the old TV with small screen in the room, the tables and chairs in the restaurant. The double room I received at 11-th floor was clean, with a very nice view overlooking the downtown, a double bed (not twins put together), 2 chairs, a desk, minibar with no expensive goods, it has no balcony, very good WIFI signal, the bathroom was clean and with free toiletries. The restaurant at ground floor is large and has also a terrace, the mood is not the friendliest possible, but the dishes and the prices are pretty good. The breakfast is good enough, with many choices, but the coffee is from a machine. The people at reception are not very warm, but they do their job in good conditions, the parking, even if there are many places, seems to be always full, I can not say nothing about the others facilities of the hotel because I didn’t used them. Finally, if you like the position, Moldova hotel is probable the better choice for a stay in İaşi, especially if you get a lower price than I paid (47 euro/dbl/breakfast).

Review 25：The staff was nice, but a little uneducated regarding normal tourism standars. They seamed confused and troubled when asked to iron a shirt, like it was difficult or something. They couldn't take my shirt in the evening so that when I wake up I find it already ironed. I had to get up in the morning, find the cleaning lady, tell her what I need and then wait for 20 minutes to recieve my shirt. Other than that, the breakfast was horrible every morning and the rooms felt kind of depresing. It felt like I'm still living in the communist era and Ceausescu was coming to visit real soon.

Review 26：The hotel is generally old, it feels like 70's in it. Very old reception , very old tv in the room, painting coming of the walls in some places in the room. But for it price its worth it.
