Review 1：What's not to like!

Review 2：Everything was great! I couldn't have been happier with every aspect of this brilliant hotel: staff, location, food, everything! It was spotlessly clean, and very well run by friendly and helpful people. Bravo!

Review 3：Beds very hard, lumpy and uncomfortable. Breakfast doesn't have fresh fruit (just sweetened) white bread rolls not fresh.

Review 4：The room size is reasonable, food in the restaurant is good, guy in the parking lot is very helpful, receptionist, head waiter in the restaurant and the guy in breakfast are nice, and view in the bedroom is fantastic.

Review 6：Balconies of all rooms look at the sea, view is wonderful. Not far from the beach, just some steps and down the hill. It takes 15-20 min to get to the centre of Vietri on foot. It's very good that hotel has parking place and there is a person who takes care about parking of your car because parking space is very limited.

Review 7：Constant wedding events - everyday of the 7 day stay we were confronted with weddings or celebration events that took over the main area of the hotel for the afternoon and evening.

Review 13：There was a wedding which took priority over everything the staff were so preoccupied that you felt like we were intruding no apology was made for any disturbance or inconvenience we were located next to the ladies toilet with a wedding on the toilet hand dryer went well into the late evening. The air conditioning was poor and wasn't helped by the storm that kept knocking the electric out. Apart from breakfast which was explained we could get in the morning no mention of where we cold have an evening meal and room service seemed out of the question

Review 29：The restaurant. I read a number of negative reports but we were tired and risked it. There was only us and one single guest when we ordered. I had ravioli and my husband steak. Both our meals came luke-warm on cold plates. I sent mine back and waited almost 15 mins until they brought it back again. By this time my husband had finished his meal. With only three diners how is it possible to serve cold food? By all means stay at the hotel you will be very happy but eat elsewhere.

Review 30：The views were amazing and I believe every room has a balcony view. Spotlessly clean..tiled floors throughout. Nice amenities left in bathroom. About 10 min walk to beach/town down steps ..less fun coming up. We are in our 60's so very manageable.

Review 31：The hotel is small with no much facilities. The access to the location is not so easy. The hotel is located on the main road which is the narrow road on top of the cliff. The hotel is about five miles from the near town, and there is no other buildings or facilites around it. The hotel has large dinning halls, and it host parties like weddings. To access the hotel elevetor and rooms we had to cross the party hall.

Review 33：deception of restaurant manager- there isn't a menu, when we asked the manager at 4pm what the dinner options were and the price we were told it would be 8-9€ per main meal, on arrival to the restaurant we were told it would be 15-16€, when bill was received it was 18€ with no explaination or remorse. No wifi in the room we were in.

Review 37：This hotel has a majestic and breath taking view of the Mediterranean Sea. The room had a full size balcony, so one could enjoy the view in comfort. It is also situated conveniently next to a small fishing village with some very good local restaurants. The hotel restaurant and staff is exceptional. The included breakfast was the best we had in Italy. This hotel is romantic and well priced and I would recommend it to anyone who is seeking romance and beauty. It is also situated close to the city of Salerno which gave us access to the train station. However it is not in Salerno (which is a big plus).

Review 47：Hotel is located on the hill over Vietri Sul Mare and stand directly on the road along the Amalfi coast (Vietri sul Mare-Minori-Maiori- Amalfi-Positano-Sorrento and other small villages I have not listed) so if you are here by car you can travel back and forth to have dinner in one of that villages.The way from the hotel to the beach is rather steep walk and it takes 5-6 minutes down and 7-8 minutes up – at the same time I beware you to think if you are ready to do this walk every day as there is no lift or other possibility to get to the beach.The hotel itself is rather dated of course after renovation it looks better but you still see that it was built years and years ago. At the same time the architecture is nice and seems that all rooms got a sea view down to the Gulf of Salerno.The room is big enough, tiles floor both in the bathroom and it the room, balcony, bed is a bit short, safe deposit box (big enough for your laptop, camera, tablet, etc.), bathroom amenities are fine but not very high quality, shower is perfect, air condition is set individually but as for me it was not enough powerful (might be not bad in order not to get ill). Wi-fi connection is rather poor but it works. Cleaning service could be MUCH better, just look on the ceiling lamp when the light is on – full of some black insects – dead or alive I do not know and room housekeeping was more or less ok but seems to be too perfunctory.Breakfast is bad for 4 star hotel, absolutely not acceptable low level but it is absolutely normal for Italy: a lot of too sweet cakes and no fruits, no vegetables, no hot meals.

Review 48：1. it is very far from the beach. you have to walk at least 10 minutes down to the beach. the problem is when you want to go back. 2. hotel is not clean. the walls are damaged. the furniture is old as well. 3. be prepared to meet with lizards. there are plenty on the balcony and they can go to the room if you do not close the door. the hotel does not have lizards protection. 4. the wifi do not worked on our room (floor number 3 which is in fact 3 floors bellow ground level). the personal will say all the time they fixed but when you check again it is not fixed. I asked them to come to the room to make sure it is not working. in the end, they gave me a cable to connect via wire and then with my laptop i shared internet connectivity. 5. the breakfast is very poor and cheap. you can enjoy only the coffe. the bread is what was left from the parties which takes place every night (weddings). they have also boiled eggs and few swites. do not expect meet or cheese because if there exists, we was unable to see it. maybe they do not replace when something finishes. 6. the only nice person there were only the parking guy. respect to him. 7. for a little more money, get a hotel in Amalfi (20km from this hotel). Also, this city (Vietri) is not recognized as a good city for leave on the amalfi costiera. we had to change the hotel after first night and we were asked to fully pay it. Think twice when you book this hotel. Makes sense to pay 50 eur more in order to get a hotel 10meters far from the sea with nice view, safe place, quiet during the night, very good breakfast and very polite staff.

Review 51：First stayed for business - the views from room, service and restaurant made to return in summer with the family. All were amazed - exceptionally friendly staff, kindly waiters, excellent dinners, assistance with parking (might get crowded at dinner time), nice big beach just downhill, and of course the views - true Amalfi Coast! Very good location if you travel by car - Napoli, Pompeii, Vesuvius are less than one hour away, and the whole Amalfi Coast and Salerno is nearby.

Review 52：Hotel Voce del Mare.... we had the misfortune of being there while a wedding was taking place! Staff didn't have time for us and we felt rather in the way. As Hotel guests we couldn't use the main dining room or outdoor seating area! The breakfast room is a dark, tiny bar area. Breakfast wasn't enjoyable. Unfortunately we had a room underneath the dining area which was very noisy due to the table & chairs been constantly moved about, by the wedding guests! We are So Disappointed. Not recommended.

A lot of people have written about noise from functions - it's true they host a lot of functions, but we were on the bottom floor and didn't have any problems with noise at all. It's also quite close to the beach, you have to walk down some stairs, but it's not really a big deal (though it would not be suitable for people with mobility issues). We had a great stay.

Review 84：My wife and I recently stayed at the hotel and could not wait to leave. It is grossly misrepresented on the booking site. We had planned to stay for 6 days but cut the stay short by 2 days, I wish we never stayed there. The hotel guests have no, zero, access to the two nice dining rooms and outside sitting area which are completely reserved for weddings and other functions. The small, inside, enclosed with little air circulation, bar is what is available for paying hotel guests and it is not possible to remove anything from the bar area which is hot and small. The pool is very small and the seating area around the pool is almost none existent. Yes you can eat dinner at the restaurant in the lesser of the dining rooms, however my wife and I who are used to world class hotels and felt treated as second class citizens in every manner and circumstance. Because there are so many parties constantly going on, there is no easy parking and the attendant is always being used. While sitting at the pool, the only outside area available to paying hotel guests, a wedding photography shoot came by and displaced us. We are glad to have left and I would recommend this hotel to local Italians planning a wedding or party but in way would I ever recommend this hotel to a paying hotel guest visiting the area.

The head waiter and his staff at the restaurant are highly professional yet personable. The food is excellent and the prices are reasonable. There is a safe place to park your car with a man that monitors the cars and moves them around depending on whether you are driving to tour or staying in the area and going by bus which picks up to Amalfi about 100 meters to the left at a TABACCHI shop.

Review 97：Just an observation: Even though you can walk into the lower part of Vietri Sul Mare fairly easy, it is a pretty steep walk to get into the central part of town. You definitely need a car to get around in the area.

Review 99：The location of this hotel is farther away from the town than I thought.The road that you can walk on to get to the top of the town is scary. Wecould of taken the sidewalk down to the beach then walk up the steeproad to get to the top of the town. If we were to go back to the AlmafiCoast we would stay in an actual town and not in a place that is in-between towns.
