Review 3：We were looking for a quiet hotel in vinho verde country and planned on staying two nights. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, the owners so accommodating and generous, the location near enough to Guimarães and Porto that we decided to stay another two nights before we had to return to Spain. In addition to the people, we enjoyed the delicious breakfasts, relaxing by the pool, walking the grounds and sampling the occasional grape or pear, the tastefully renovated buildings and their decor, and the quiet, restful evenings of wine, conversation and, eventually, uninterrupted sleep.
Review 4：Everything about this hotel was excellent. The location, the setting, the rooms, the facilities, the decor, breakfast. But above everything Cristina was a superb host. Nothing was too much. Highly recommend!!!

Review 6：The owner, doña Cristina, was very frendly and kind. The place is wonderful (an old country property smartly restructured), the room is luxury furnished and comfortable, the surroundig villages and towns (Braga, Barcelos, Guimaraes and last but not least, Port) easy to reach. We regretted leaving.
