Review 1：the private road leading to the hotel was very bumpy. the man at the reception arranging for motorbike rental should give out warnings and show photos for clients to decide whether to proceed with renting or not.

Review 3：Very far from the center of the Island. Stuck without motorbike and the last kilometer from the main road can not be called a road. No beach only sunbeds on resort.

Review 5：Chek-in is supposed to be at 12pm but we got it at 14pm. No door closes properly in the villa, even the outside door. Service is very bad, especially in the restaurant. The restaurant has the worst food i've had in a long time. Even simple dishes are extremely bad.

Review 9：There is no activity much to do so we wanted to watch the movie but the DVD player sucked so as the DVDs themselves as there were scratches all over and cannot be played properly.

Review 13：nothing negative to say about the resort at all! it was lovely. The beach did have some sandflies, but you get those everywhere on the islands and either they like you or they don't, depends on the person/time of year etc.

Review 14：The staff and owner were extremely friendly and genuinely care about their work and the resort. They made us feel very welcomed and did everything for us to have a great stay, remembering small details and even going out of their way to help us solve a problem. The resort itself is beautiful and very clean, the bungalows were clean and well kept and the grounds had a nice garden with lots of orchids around. There is a private beach and a pier. The food was great. Would definitely recommend this place, no hesitation!

Review 15：We stayed in a room with a view of the sea and could watch the sunset each night. The resort is very peaceful, clean and the staff are friendly without being overbearing. The breakfast was excellent as were the evening meals. Snorkelling was excellent straight off the beach. Would really recommend if you want to get away from it all for complete peace and quite.

Review 16：If we had to make a suggestion for further improvements we would recommend to properly wash the towels, as many of the ones we got had stains. The reception could be slightly more forthcoming and friendly. And please take the Spaghetti with Ketchup off the menu - is that really a dish?

The problem occurred on the diaconnected terrain connecting the resort to The concrete road (we could Not avoid that road!). despite this they forced us to pay an extra for the tyre. Unfair

Review 27：The gulf where the resort is located is small and there are only other 3 small resorts. The water and the beach are amazing!It was one of our favorites in Koh Kood as we visited other beaches on the west side of the island. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere. All you can hear is the sound of the sea and the rustle of the palms. We were staying in the beach front villa Sky and it was fantastic. The view from the terrace to the sea is a dream. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The Restaurant is great and we enjoyed the BBQ which is from 6 to 8pm.

Review 28：This place was such a great brake from a month of hectic travels in Thailand and Myanmar. Koh Kood is the most peaceful island in the country, not ruined by awfully excessive development. The hotel is perfectly situated in a beautiful cove, nestled within the nature. It's small and intimate enough so that you feel like you have the beach all to yourself. The restaurant serves great food. I would pick the rooms with ocean views as they are more modern and comfortable than the ones in the garden area.

Review 29：Ocean-front villa was perfect, well-equipped, except the fact that the concrete torso from neighboorhood destroyed our view from terrace. Hope that they can manage it shortly. At the weekend we ran in an off-site event of a Thai bank - was a bit noisy, but it was't the hotel's fault.

Review 30：Best place @ Koh Kood. The hotel's manager worked all day with staff (he did everything like others) - would like to thank again his kindness. Perfect resort for families with small children. Massage was on the beach.

Review 31：It is not the best beach (for that I recommend tinkerbell, Peter pan, Siam beach and high season but the beach was still very very pretty and the pier was lovely! Secondly, we complained about the shower and safe, as they were both not working. the staff was very friendly but after a check they acknowledged that both were damaged but no solution was offered.. And least, we paid 40.000bath (100€) for a sea view room. We got the outer one 'a9' and we really had to stretch our necks to see the view.. Nevertheless beautifull

Review 32：We stayed at a sea view bungalow, our bungalow was a new one and was very pretty! I think that most of the bungalows are new and the resort is really improving itself..as we have not seen one that was really old.. You can rent scooters, have massages or go kayaking.. Just to come back and watch the sun set from the pier or beach! At night you can eat Thai, western or bbq. Overall We would recommend this place (we checked out other accommodations on koh kood for comparison) but still You pay a lot for wat you get.. (As with you do with any hotel )

Review 61：Fantastic resort with a fantastic location! A lovely beach which actually looked like as the pics on their homepage! We stayed 3 nights and we didn't want to leave! Food is really good at the resort, so you don't have to try anything else! Good snorkeling right off the, best at the right hand side standing on the beach! Water is really nice, good for kids! Feels like you actually are in paradise!

Review 62：the staff are so friendly, able to rent snorkeling mask and kaya. houses with hay on the roof. food are delicious, not expensive at the same time. during evening there are BBQ. BTW there is staff who can speak Chinese.

Review 63：the services offered by the Resort are overpriced, especially if compared to outside the resort. the point is reaching the concrete road from the resort is very tricky, especially with rain, as the road is full of mud and can be dangerous even with motorbike as it continues sliding. that's why the Resort takes advantage of this situation (the fact that it is not easy to walk out) overpricing everything, from Restaurant (average quality but not that good value for money) to motorbike rental (400 thai bath per day, whilst outside is rented at 250 thai bath per day).. If it would have been easier to get out I confess I would have eaten always at Chiang Mai restaurant which is right out of the resort but at the concrete road (way better food, very tasty and at half the price). that's why I think they really need a concrete junction to the main road and, meantime, they will never build it cause otherwise they could loose restaurant income. moreover, I believe that such big issue should be signaled on booking.com or somewhere cause it is really limitating.

Review 70：Expensive prices did not correspond to what you actually got. We paid THB 2,300 per night for a Deluxe Garden View Bungalow, which had the same level of comfort as a guesthouse room in Pattaya for THB 800. But really, you cannot compare staying in Koh Kood and Pattaya, so I guess the extra price was worth it, just for the pleasure of seeing the island. Service could be a bit forgetful at the restaurant. No hot water, despite asking for it to be fixed. But to be honest, who needs hot water when its 38 C outside?

It's the perfect place for a quiet get away or for afamily with small children. It's absolutely worth the money and therestaurant and drinks are reasonably priced with good breakfast includedevery day. The guy that runs the place is very nice and does everythingto make sure his guests are comfortable. We stayed for 6 nights and hadall our meals, fruit shakes, beers etc. at the resort, including rentinga motor bike and going for massages we ended up with a bill of 10,000thbfor 2 people, very reasonable! Highly recommend this resort, nicelocation with a jetty and small beach, nice and clean bungalows andinternet everywhere. If you want a long sand beach, I recommend PeterPan or Tinklebell Resorts.
