Review 1：The rooms are very dated and we got given a room with two single beds in separate rooms, instead of the double we requested. The staff were not helpful and didn't make any effort to find us another room. You have to pay extra to use the pool and sauna - which you would expect to be able to use free of charge, as with all other hotels. Overall value for money isn't great.

Review 2：Great location next to a private beach, a pleasant 30 minute walk or cycle into Varberg. The common areas, breakfast and lunches are very nice.

Review 3：Poor choice for food and un helpful staff and refusal to help us cook even though we had allergys they had facilities to cook in the room but would not let us would not advise any one to go 0 out of 10

Review 5：Parking seemed inadequate for the size of the resort, but we eventually managed to find a space. We weren't made aware of the ongoing construction. The food is buffet style and not at all value for money. Service in the restaurant was a free for all. WiFi was constantly disconnecting. All facilities are showing their age and although there is visible effort being made to maintain the resort, it is generally looking tired and a bit rundown.

Review 6：The resort was easy to find and beautifully located. Once checked in, the room was very clean and tidy. The log fire was a nice touch.

Review 8：Everything. I just needed a single bed to stay in for the night. I was given a room with 2 double beds in. The food was incredible, pricey but incredible!! Very close to the ferry port.

Review 9：Some distance to the city, and thus to alternative restaurants. This fact is abused by the hotel to overcharge for very average food. SEK 349,- for a buffet dinner - with very average food quality. In addition the hotel was undergoing major recontruction - and will be until mid November 2014 - including tearing down stone walls with pneumatic tools. At 8.00 in the morning the work started with pneumatic tools making the floor shake like an eathquake and a TERRIBLE noice. ..and the hotel places people in the rooms right above this construction work, at full room rate. Totally unacceptable! In addition the rooms were pretty small, and the shower cabinett was so narrow it was hard to turn around in it - which also resulted in poor cleaning. Tha shower corners were black with dirt and fungus :-( The included breakfast wasn't impressive - and if you want a cappuchino for breakfast, that's at exta charge. Now, the hotel seemed to have understood the noice was inconvenient, and didn't charge for the cappucchino in the end - but you should be aware that it is in the normal case charged for.

Review 11：very friendly staff in the reception did not like accommodation of single occupancy that I have booked before travelling room was small and tired. reception staff moved me immediately to new bigger and modern accommodation for double occupancy even so I just booked single room

Review 12：Very fine hotel in front of the ocean and a clean and nice beach. Nice garden where you could sit for a drink or a coffee or to have lunch or dinner. The food was excilent and the staff helpful and very kind. If I go to varberg again I will stay at this hotel

Review 13：The area outside this hotel is amazing. Going for a walk in these beautiful surroundings makes your day better, I promise. The spa is absolutely lovely, and I like the hotel's "sporty" image. They want you to try new things, like biking, stand up paddling, etc, which sounds fun. This hotel is stylish, historical and impressive. I will definately come back and stay here again.

Review 30：I was travelling on my own and stayed two different nights in the one week and had the same room on both occasions .The room immediately brought visions of what I imagine an olden times monastic cell would look like .I also thought that the variety of breakfast options was very limited .
