Review 1：We booked three nights at this motel to explore Canberra and it was just enough time to see it all :-)) The check-in went very smooth. The girl at the reception is very friendly and helpful. The room is nice (bit small though) and clean. Bed is very comfy and bathroom is ok. Fridge works perfect. Airco doesn't have the capacity to cool the room enough (very old). The wifi didn't work that great either.. had to call reception at least 10 times to restart the modem. When it works, it's fast enough :D You can park right in front of the room. We also used the laundry service and it was perfect! Ready in two hours and smelled very nice. There is a information book in the room with all the highlights and must see's and do's. Very helpful. All in all.. I would def recommend this motel :-)))

Review 4：Checked in no problems stayed 2 nights. Bed was comfortable shower was great fridge big enough very close to town centre and I could watch the World Cup Rugby. Perfect!
Review 5：The property was under new manageme nt. The towels were badly stained. Whilst it was not the fault of management, a large group of motorcyclists had booked out the motel, causing a great deal of unnecessary noise and a great deal of discomfort to other guests.
Review 6：The bed was very comfortable and the motel was located within walking distance for most attractions.
Review 7：The Olympia provided good value for money. It was close to shops, hotels, eating places, pool (over the road), and all within a few minutes walk. The rooms were comfortable, staff friendly and helpful.
Review 8：The carpet felt tacky and next morning I was shocked to see how black the soles of my feet were. The carpark is too small to accommodated cars parked on both sides. Once I had parked there was no way I could reverse out without being in danger of hitting another car. I had to wait until next morning to get out once some people had left. (lucky Wooliies was across the road.) The big sign says Foxtel but I saw no evidence of it.
Review 9：It was across the road from a large shopping centre. The room appeared clean and comfortable but dated. There was a microwave in the room. They supplied products and a shower cap. Good supply of hot water and a hairdryer.
Review 10：Everything was fine but suggested to office Manager that a grip handle in the shower would be appreciated for older people like myself and husband. She agreed to look into it as it would enhance the facility.
Review 11：The motel suited our needs as a family travelling to a funeral in Cooma. Staff were helpful, the room large enough for our needs, showers hot etc. Appreciated the iron, also microwave and crockery and cutlery as we could eat when we got home late. Location close to shops was convenient.
Review 12：I have been staying in this motel for the past 20 years on my frequent visits to Canberra. I prefer the small town location and convenience of nearby facilities.

Review 18：Manager suggested that the use of the telephone was "no problem" he will "fix it later". After I arrived home I received a telephone bill of $20 for 4 local metered calls. In Australian motels it is usual for phone calls to be charged at ordinary domestic rates with no special hotel metering so I did not expect it and he showed no indication when I asked.

Review 33：It would have been nice to have access to the couple of windows secured behind the hard to move curtains. The air con was ok but a bit of fresh air would have been good. A jug or something to fill the kettle missing.

Review 35：I didn't have a bad experience, only one thing, there was no parking spaces allocated, you just parked where you could find a free space.
Review 36：the room was very clean and smelt clean, the air con was fantastic, there wasn't really any-thing I didn't like,parking was free, and I would stay there again if I was travelling, it would have been wonderful for a family with little ones, as it is right across the road from the Queanbeyan swimming pool, within walking distance to the town centre and take-aways.

Review 47：The beds were extremely comfortable, which was a blessing for me, as I have chronic back problems. The room was spotlessly clean and very quiet. It's important for us to have peace and quiet when we travel.
Review 48：After almost 40 hours in transit from New York we could have slept on a barbed wire fence. The bed was a comforting cloud, the room blissfully quiet and we slept for over 12 hours straight. We didn't exploit the location and facilities to their full extent this time but have found it very handy to the shops, restaurants and parks on previous visits. Have stayed here before and will stay again.

Review 52：We were arriving late in the evening so the owner was kind enough to ring us and let us know that the office would be closed but told us which room we would be staying in and where to pick up the keys. The room was basic but perfectly clean and the owners had put on the heater and the TV so we wouldn't be walking into a cold dark room. The beds and pillows were comfy (no lumps!) and we really didn't notice any outside noise like you get with some older style hotels so after a long day driving we were able to get a good nights sleep. Located directly across the road from Queanbeyan's shopping centre meant we were very centrally located when we got up the next day to stock up our supplies.
