Review 1：It is a central location from where you can start easily visiting the city and the hotel staff is very polite and problem solving orientated. The room was clean and it had all facilities you may need for the price paid. I strongly recommend. Bogdan, Bucharest, 32 y.o.

Review 2：I like the fact that Astoria Hotel was being refurbished and they have upgraded me for the same price to a 4 stars hotel, Grand Hotel Traian, a absolutely lovely hotel!

Review 4：Well, I had made a reservation at the hotel Astoria but was instantly transferred to the hotel next door, the Grand Hotel Traian. The Astoria seemed to be closed for the season and my comments are about the Traian. Which is a marvelous hotel, elegant and sophisticated with plenty of charm. My room was large with lovely furniture, great wifi connection, fridge......perfect.

Review 7：Very poor services. I made reservations via booking.com for double room in single regime, instead got extremely tiny single rooms for the same price. We were granted parking place but when we got there there was none. Express breakfast got in the room half an hour late then what we chose and it was not exactly what we ordered the night before. My room had no bath towels.

Review 9：Construction around the building caused problems locating and parking at the site. The GPS navigation was incorrect. It would be helpful to add a warning and written directions on the site.

Review 10：The staff helped us coordinate a day trip over to Moldova. They went above and beyond to find an English speaking guide. The restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner.

Review 24：Confusion around my booking, this made the check in very unpleasant. This was compensated by the kindness of the receptionists' on the next two days. The room: stains on the carpet, only two sockets far from the bed and from which one was broken.

I stayed at this hotel multiple times, reserving or announcing at the last moment and I they always had something for me which I appreciate a lot. I even had a smoking room once (because there were no other left) and it was very clean, not smelling at all of cigarette. Overall you should not expect luxury, but an efficient hotel that gives you a very good place to sleep and does not leave your pockets empty.

Review 27：Arrivedat 2.30 pm to be told that one room was not available until 6.30 pm My friends room (as was mine later) Was filthy, the carpet was filthy and disgusting and they discivered a dirty pair of Ladies knickers in the room. Avoid at all costs.

Review 29：It is allowed to smoke almost everywhere. Due to some sewage problems, we had to move from one room to another. Not very convenient and we had to wait quite a while to move out. Currently the area where the hotel is located is undergoing big pavement restorations, so it is fairly noisy during the mornings.

Review 122：The heating was turned off when we arrived in the room and it was very cold! The weather was already very cold, so we had expected to find a warm room, but instead we found a cold one. There could have been better attention to details in the room.

Review 123：I really enjoyed the location - the hotel is situated right in the Pta. Unirii, side by side with the more famous Hotel Traian. The room was clean, cosy and had a nice view over the Pta. Unirii.
