Reviews for Nagle Warren Mansion B&B
Review 1:We stayed at the Nagle Warren for three nights. From the moment we entered the building you did not want to leave. Jim the owner was such a joy to meet. We had the room Clara, Oh heavens, a dream room with a huge bed, a bathroom and comforts you might see in a posh London Hotel. The comfort just comes naturally to this hotel. You can have a chocolate biscuit when you feel like it. Have a spa bath, when you want. The breakfast is truly home cooked to perfection. You sit round a large table, set perfectly with linen and linen napkins. Being British, this was an absolute joy for me. You can easily join in conversation with other guests and its fascinating listening to their travels. It is right in the town centre. Its a quirky and magnificent hotel. The staff are just so helpful. You cannot fault the lovely fluffy clean towels, and how clean everything is. There are lovely rooms to rest in. Even little turrets with comfy chairs. A joy.
Review 2:The home's interior decor and appearance is beautiful, with wonderful lighting day or night. A memorable breakfast is served in the exquisite dining room. The rooms are exceptionally well appointed.
Review 3:The breakfast was very limited, although well presented, no additional bread or toast and no cereals provided. The room felt a bit tight because of the bulky old fashioned furniture and it was very dark. We felt it was overpriced.
Review 4:The owner gave us a tour of the building, which is very charming with its historic decor and features. The bed was comfortable and we had good bathroom facilities. We liked the dining room with the opportunity to chat to other guests. The hotel is vey close to downtown shops and restaurants.
Review 5:The breakfast was underwhelming compared to other b&b's we've stayed at.
Review 6:Great location for a tourist. Interesting room and the house itself was one of the stops on the wagon ride around town. Good Mexican restaurant right next door.
Review 7:Smallish bed, no elevator (problem if your room on 3rd floor!)
Review 8:Amazing hotel in a historic property but . Beautiful antique furniture, can spend whole day just exploring the mansion. Beautiful family-style breakfast. Jim - you are the best!
Review 9:Parking was a nightmare!!! We came in a vehicle with a HC License and there were NO HC parking spaces close to the mansion. We had to park across the street, out of view from our room and it was very worrisome! Also, I had asked for a main floor room since the stairs were a problem, and yet when we got there, we were shown a room on the 3rd floor with no elevator. Then I asked for a room change and the "hostess" acted very put out and gave us a room in the Carriage House on the 2nd floor. We weren't told about the cookies or snacks until the morning we were leaving - and there was no "Tea" for us because I didn't reserve that - which I didn't see on the information. The "hostess" was not helpful, she was very kurt and I was very disappointed in her manor! On the rude side.
Review 10:The room was very nice and the breakfast reminded me of the BBC Masterpiece, "Downtown Abbey."
Review 11:The only thing, which I can't be really upset with because it's unique to the experience, was the claw tub. It's beautiful, but when you wrap the plastic curtain around you to shower, it can stick to you. It's a little claustrophobic to maneuver inside, but it was something different to try.
Review 12:It's like staying in an elegant, rich mansion - minus the hefty price. The bed was awesome. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was really thoughtful and thorough. It's super clean, large, and has a gas fireplace! Very quiet. They also provide power cord outlets for all our gadgets! Thoughtful amenities: cotton balls, q-tips, bath salts, and cotton robes with slippers. Great location. Would stay here again. Loved it.
Review 13:The shower was over an old-style stand-alone bath tub and it's not the easiest to use as you are literally surrounded by shower curtain... but I wouldn't let this put you off!
Review 14:Its central/safe location and the historical feel of the hotel.
Review 15:Lovely period restored mansion with inviting rooms and a very hospitable innkeeper and staff. We loved chatting with the innkeeper over breakfast - a delicious breakfast at that
Review 16:The only bad experience there was out of the control of the staff which was stuck up legislators talking down to the staff during breakfast; and non-stop talk about laws, bills, etc. Would have been nice to have my own table and not have to hear their point of views on politics first thing in the morning.
Review 17:Room was very quiet and nice, didn't hear any of the other guests. The mansion had free cookies, pop, a selection of adult beverages, hot tub. Our late night adult time went on without one complaint ;-)
Review 18:NOTHING
Review 19:Staying at this B & B is like going back in time, and being able to have the entire place at your finger tips. You have to experience it to know what I mean!!!
Review 20:our reservation was lost??? luckly, they were still able to accommodate us
Review 21:the history we learned..the friendliness of the staff...the wonderful breakfast
Review 22:The bathroom was a bit small but this is understandable in an old property. The bedroom more than compensated for this it was lovely.
Review 23:Lovely old property with a lot of character. The staff were very friendly. Nice touched such as helping yourself to cold drinks.
Review 24:The bathroom was rather small, and wash hand basin in the bedroom....something us Brits are not familiar with.
Review 25:The old world charm and history. It was lovely to stay I a home which had great charm. The breakfast was served for you and was very good, plenty to keep you going on your travels!!
Review 26:Street Parking but having to have that is understandable for a place like this
Review 27:The Staff The history of the building The breakfast that was included
Review 28:I loved everything, from the very attentive staff and the owner; Jim, to the beautifully decorated rooms! We really enjoyed our stay and had fun exploring the mansion.
Review 29:The mansion is an architechtural masterpiece, beautifully restored. The staff went out of their way to help us find a great restaraunt in a town not noted for dining. Great breakfast
Review 30:The used litter box inthe bathroom. It was old and did not smell.
Review 31:I loved the atmosphere. The 3 flights of stairs was a bit much for me. The room we were supposed to have had not been cleaned.
Review 32:The claw footed tub was very hard for me to get in and out of since I have Rheumatoid Arthritis.
Review 33:The overall decor was exceptional and we loved the breakfast.
Review 34:A very friendly little hotel and an amazing building that has been lovingly restored and cared for by the owner. A pleasant change from staying at the regular hotel chains. A great experience.
Review 35:Loved the architectural features throughout and the lovely breakfasts! The whole house was a treasure trove of carved wood, stained glass, period features and lovely floors. Eating from silver in the splendid dining room was a real treat. The hot tub and gym were an unexpected pleasure too.
Review 36:beauty of the grounds warm, informative staff interactive and delicious breakfast comfy bed victorian feel to the decor ready access to bottled water tour
Review 37:No space to put my things, cistern handle in wrong place, ventilator too strong and cold. Didn't have the breakfast choice. Long way up to our room with four cases and no lift available in this house.
Review 38:The building and location
Review 39:Jim made us feel right at home. He immediately made recommendations for touring the downtown area. Our room was cozy and had the original details you would expect from an old mansion. None of the charm had been compromised when retrofitted for modern amenities. Loved the home!!!
Review 40:We have just spent a month traveling in Western USA. This property was by far the best one that we stayed in . it is exceptional. Wonderful rooms, Excellent breakfast which was served to table, very relaxing. In a superb spot to enjoy the delights of cheyenne. do not miss staying here if you visit Cheyenne. It was wonderful
Review 41:I worried about the overall cleanliness of the place...due in large part to the unkempt and unclean appearance of the host. His clothes were not clean, and he did not give the impression of caring about personal hygiene. Also, the duvet cover in our room was old and worn--to the point of having tears in it. While I understand that the mansion and furnishing are Old, the linens should not be.
Review 42:The owners offered many extra amenities that ordinarily add to the comfort of the guests. They made sure that all needs were met.
Review 43:Lovely period mansion. Lots of thoughtful amenities.
Review 44:Very charming and quiet bed and breakfast with all the amenities. The food was excellent.
Review 45:What a step back in time. This home is a real treasure. Loved it!

Review 97:Downtown, servicemined, lovely garden and good breakfast
Review 98:It would be unreasonable to comment adversely on anything. I thought it was great.
Review 99:Everything. No hotel is going to be perfect for every guest but this one came pretty close to perfection for me. Individual, interesting, historical, friendly personnel, location for downtown, food, amenities, facilities (there was even a stapler in the drawer!) and more. Guests should take advantage of the afternoon tea if they can. Very genteel; very English. Not necessary but, if you can, dress smartly. You'll feel better!
Review 100:Nothing. Everything was perfect.
Review 101:Jim, the owner, was the perfect host. He made both of us feel totally at home and comfortable during our stay. The breakfast and conversation the morning we left were both delightful. I'm glad we decided to overnight at Jim's wonderful establishment.
Review 102:There were no breakfast choices. Hotel entrance didn't look welcoming, no complimentary treats

Review 106:The fact it was 2 degrees outside, but that was not NagleMansion's fault.
