Review 1：The room was moderate in size, the bed was not really comfortable, we didn't have a really good sleep due to the flat pillows, the heating was too much, we tried adjusting the temperature but it was too warm

Review 2：It was an awesome stay, the hotel was at the city center, with a scenic view of the Piata Unirii square, the staff was ok, we didn't trouble ourselves to carry our luggage, the room looked really nice, like some sort of English settings. We loved the bathroom it was really beautiful.. The best part about this place, breakfast at its awesomeness and we even took lunch and dinner here and it was delicious!

Review 8：BEDS WERE VERY COMFY, BUT LOOKED LIKE THEY WERE MADE FOR CHILDREN. VERY LOW FROM THE GROUND. THE WATER TEMPERATURE IN THE SHOWER WAS A LITTLE HARD TO CONTROL AND THE PRESSURE COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER.

Review 9：EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS HOTEL HS THE HERITAGE FEEL AND IS VERY COSY. ROOMS AND BATHROOMS WERE CLEAN AND BREAKFAST WAS FABULOUS.

Review 10：Room 127 is horrible when it comes to noise! You can hear all the music from the restaurant when they have an event there and from 5AM when the trams are running, you hear them as if they are passing next to your bed :(. They had a party in the reataurant until 2Am And from 5 the tram started, so I hd only 3 hours of sleep.

Review 12：Nice place in the center of Iasi where you have all touristic places to visit. Although it is located next to the road it is very quite inside the rooms. The rooms are big and with all necessary things equipped.

Review 13：Direct on the hotel (underground) is a club that on saturdays is playing hard house music until 4 in the morning. We could not sleep in 1st and 2nd floor (we stayed two weekends). The hotel staff was kind, but they could not change the situation. To be avoided in the weekends or ask previous for upper floor. The hotel should solve the situation.

Review 16：I asked for a non-smoking room and I got a terrible smelly smoking room, found hair in the shower, heating only starts at 9 PM, rooms facing the interior are very noisy due to the vent system, bed is unconfortable, the warm buffet during breakfast was cold and very poor, the interior design is low quality and of very poor taste.

Review 18：It´s the second time in Traian, but this time was disappointing. Reception staff looks like he don´t know the hotel. He gave me a room directly over the ball room, there was a party and very noisy. The room vibrates. Restaurant was closed for this party, so nothing to eat. Reception staff advised me to go to the hotel pub - but there extremly noisy and full of smokers. It was not possible to breath. I changed the room - but noisier than the other one. At the end I gave up. Will I go there again ??

Review 20：I do not know why if the conditions of the hotel but I was surprisedthree days before my departure by the reception of "you must paynow" I had the euro, they took 250 euro (room price), employ a doexchange they took their's and made the Monnais. Their behaviorshocked me, and yet I had the means to put me up free university(conference), it's true it was not comparable.

Review 23：Great location, a wonderful historic building, very good cleanliness, breakfast was very good. The staff were always helpful and attentive, also a good pub attached to the hotel was enjoyable and fun. Overall super and good value for money.

Review 26：The fine building reflects the grandeur of an earlier age (early 20th century?), and has been well modernised e.g. as regards bathrooms. It is situated on a busy square in the very centre of the city, and my room looked out on to the square. The self-service breakfast was rich and varied.

Review 52：This comment doesn't rely to the hotel: if you look for restaurants and relax in that area - Plata Unirii and Stefan Cel Mare - you will find less. The heart of the activities is in the PALAS MALL - strada Palas - behid the Palace of Culture. There you will find all you can need.

Review 53：The sfatt is gentle, prepared and careful. We have committed a mistake in our booking and the staff has revised that mistake we have not marked. Clearness of the rooms is very high. the bathroom equipement is good. There is a courtesy service with coffee and tea.

Review 54：Staff not helpful. Never smiled. No money change. At least the receptionist did send someone to the change, because i couldn't go. Couldn't receive nescafe at breakfast. Minimal breakfast. No limo available at night for the ride to the airport, though the fee ( at daytime only) is very high. Seems they invested mostly in interior design.

All requests have been made possible by the staff (double bed, top floor room and room on another side other than the front and road sides) Probably i would've liked the breakfast also but we chose not to have bf included. I understood that it was a swedish buffet style and the food was great (according to another couple that stayed in during the same period). The location is great! 20 minutes walk to the center of the City (aka Palas Center - basically a big mall with lots of green spaces and shops and pubs and...you name it...)

Review 78：Funny experience was that I wanted to pay the bill in cash, and I got told that they did not have change for 100 lei (25 euro). I got the very strong impression that they expected to round the bill up (like a couple of taxi drivers..) Carry lots of change!

Review 80：Even though the room description featured "soundproof", there was actually a lot of noise coming from the ventilation system (my room had the "inside" view). At the ground floor there were parties both nights and this could be heard even from the 2nd floor. Because of the wedding party, the evening meal could not be served in the hotel but at the Astoria (same building) .. where unfortunately there was yet another wedding :( It seems that there are a lot of parties going on in the weekends at this hotel. The Wifi was horrible, could not do anything, even basic surfing. I've never seen a slower connection in a 4 star hotel. The parking consists of a few spots in front of the hotel which were always full. I had to park behind the hotel, in the dirt.

Ichanged my mind, as a good friend recommended Traian Hotel to me and Iam very thankful for this recommendation. Great location! The mega-friendly staff makes you feel like a vip. Rooms are equipped withhistorical furniture, but they provide full comfort. The bed isremarkable!. The breakfast is fantastic, as well as the menu in therestaurant. You definitely should have dinner there. The turkey withcheese in walnut sauce is a piece of culinary art. Wifi is free and verygood speed and you can park your car in front of the house.

Review 127：We received the first night a very small room for 4 persons with a back view of pipes when I made a reservation for a suite room, the air condition didn't work well and the recepcionist told me that the hotel is full and will change the room in the morning. The next morning I received a big suite room with a nice view to the front of the hotel as I reserved. They charged me for 2 nights in the suite room instead 1 regular room and 1 suite. In the entrance was darkness, it seems that they save electricity.

Review 129：Air conditioning didn't really work (and it was very hot). Also, nowhere convenient to plug in laptop. Also, the hotel did not have my booking (not sure if that is the hotel's fault or booking.com) but at least the staff honoured the reservation when I showed it to them.

Drinks at the bar could not be charged back to the room.
