Review 1：Dirty room, dirty bathroom, ugly fried onion smell on breakfast restaurant, raw omelet, dirty dishes, poor room cleaning when return in the night, caffe cups not washed, no place to eat in the restaurant if there is a party and even if you want to order in the room the room service do not answer the phone, they asked to be paid in front before even see where you will sleep

Review 2：The Spa. They are selling Spa packages for non guest and the pool become very crowd. They also are offering swim classes for kids. All of these creates a very crowd, noisy and less friendly environment. Not good for relaxation.

Review 14：The view from the room was fantastic especially at night.I was greeted every morning by your room cleaning staff. Every day when i returned to the room was cleaned and bed made up. The restaurant staff were great, always helped with my broken attempt at Romanian. The reception staff are second to none. Always smiling even at 3am in the morning. Carla is a sweetheart, as well as the rest of the team. Will be coming back soon!!

Review 15：Ultra central location, iconic place. Tourist friendly hotel, nice rooms, very good quality wifi and tv channels. The best hotel staff and management I ever met in Romania, all highly educated and qualified, and very well trained. Great buffet breakfast, very nice a la carte menus in restaurants. Superb view from Panoramic restaurant on 13th floor. Very nice Spa and Beauty salon. The hotel tries its best to be environment friendly and has Green policies in place. Value for money.

Review 35：Parking is only available at an adjacent underground lot, is not connected to the hotel and is not free. We requested a room for handicapped persons. The handicapped room however had a single bed which of course is not what we booked. We booked a double room. The staff were very understanding and offered us an adjacent room with a double bed and also allowed us to keep the the first room with the handicapped bathroom.

Review 36：The staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant at the top has beautiful views of the surrounding area and offers excellent food, service and reasonable pricing. It's definitely recommended! The rooms are well furnished, average size and we'll equipped with coffee maker and good bathroom amenities. The hotel is very clean and very pleasant with a large lobby and the breakfast area is very large with good selections of breakfast choices and excellent presentation and service.

Review 37：Excellent hotel in the city centre, great rooms and staff, it has everything you would expect. Clean, quiet, generous breakfast, free parking in the nearby underground carpark, also spa and sauna (but we didn't have time to use them). Definitely recommended and we will use it again in the future.

Review 40：Opening the pool up to the public for a fee made it so crowded the only time we could use it was after the public late at night. Cute shell shaped soap was grainy - like sand. Very hard water did not make for a nice shampoo. Hallways smelled odd. Cigarette smoke came into our room - must have been from the room next door. Do not eat at the Panorama Restaurant - too pricey for tough steak and cold broccoli.

Review 41：The pool was beautiful & clean. Mosaic benches are warm - nice touch to help dry off. Breakfast buffet was nice - get a made to order omelet that arrive hot. Convenient location near the Palas Mall - a 15 minute walk. We booked for 3 nights -but decided to go elsewhere for the last night. They did refund the 3rd night's stay - that was outstanding! They earned points there . . .

Review 45：The internet connection was really bad. we had no WiFi for the first 2 days and after we repeatedly complained, it start to work, but the connection was really poor.... the hotel Spa is open for everybody, not only for the guests of the hotel, hence it is very crowded. they offer you coffee and tea bags in the room only for the first day.

Review 50：The floor our room was on smelled a bit of smoke, as did some other parts of the hotel. (it's possible that it hasn't been a non-smoking establishment for very long). The restaurant on the top floor has a smoking and a non-smoking section, but the two aren't really divided (or the door between them was open), so the non-smoking section was really too smokey to be enjoyable.

Spa in basement is splendid (swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna...), breakfast is more than enough (there is everything, from fruits and cereals to baked beans and pancake). Hotel is situated right in the centre.

Review 72：The attitude of the Check In girl over the room problem was one whereby she initially tried to say that as I hadn't asked for a non smoking room, all they could allocate was a noisy smoking one. After explaining that the website didn't offer a choice of smoking or non smoking room, the attitude changed. I will put this down to the young lady's inexperience. An element that should be looked at is the Spa. To insist in this day and age that people have to wear a swimming cap is outdated to say the least, and not one I have encountered in any hotel in the last 35+ years of regular Hotel stays. When I pointed out that people with short cropped hair were allowed not to wear a cap the over exuberant male Spa Attendant tried to tell me that they weren't seen as a health risk !. Yeah sure, however as it was apparent he saw himself as having some form of power, there was no debating the subject with him so I just left the pool area. The numbers using the Spa should also be subject to some form of control. There wasn't the room to have a proper swim due to overcrowding, and the Sauna and Steam rooms were just too busy. I only stayed in the Spa area for 20 minutes due to this. I did come back later in the day, but it was even more frequesnted than earlier.

Review 73：The Hotel made an error with the allocated room (I asked for a quiet room, and all they could provide was one on the 9th floor, nearby which I was informed there was to be a function, and it could get noisy) After it was raised to senior staff level, they provided me with a suite at no extra cost. The suite was very good, but was adjacent to shops and an outside bar and the noise from the bar in the early hours disrupted the sleep pattern.Other positives were the food, late check-out and wifi speed.

The pool is fairly deep and doesn't work well for having little children. Also it was really warm in our room because the air conditioning had not been turned on for the hotel yet.

At 23.00 when I walk out of the pool I walk with my bear feet through the detergent that they used to clean the floor - they made me use the pool only with my head covered by a cap. They gave me one - it was not my dream come true to put on my head some plastic thing that was used by another person - the towels in the room were not OK (they were clean but the quality was one for a 2 star hotel) - the parking is not under the hotel. It is very close but I have to walk with my luggage on the outside of the hotel; it was not indicated where was the hotel and I couldn't see it cause there where other buildings around me

Review 87：So called warm breakfast items were barely warm most of the time during our 13 nights stay. Otherwise, decent breakfast. No soft tissues in the room, no rubbish bin in the room (only in the bathroom!!!). Worst of all, the so-called room temperature control system is a joke! It does nothing. It is centrally controlled which made it pretty unpleasant, having to open the window time to time not to sweat like a pig. All the above make it a mere 3* hotel in the Western world, not 4* as they pride themselves to and charge you.

Review 92：The hotel is centrally located lending to easy walking distances when visiting places of interest. The staff are polite and attentive and nothing is too much of a problem. The breakfast is substantial and the view from the panoramic restaurant on the 13th floor is wonderful even on a rainy day. The bedrooms are newly refurbished, comfortable and clean. All in all a very pleasant stay and would come back for another visit!

Review 105：I got a room that probably hosted smokers before, so there was some lingering smell, although I requested nonsmoking. Could have been just the fact that some people were smoking in the hallway to protect their roommates? But I got the last room available so cannot complain to much about that. I stayed in a suite actually, with two full bathrooms, one with jacuzzi which seemed such a luxury. Unfortunately both the jacuzzi tub and the shower cabin in the other bathroom leaked badly. They really need to fix them. The nights were cold and, although there is a thermostat in the rooms, i was not able to heat the room and I heard other people compliming about the same thing. Hopefully they don't have the same problem in the winter, in September was not that bad. One last thing, which is not related with the hotel itself, but it bothered me as I like to walk in the city: the are surroundong the hotel is in construction, not well kept, really damages the image of the hotel. The city should really work hard at improving the pavement in this central location, and surrounding streets. This used to be a beautiful central plazza and now I was dissapointed to see it do dated and unkept.

Review 106：Central location, easy to walk to all downtown attractions; spacious, comfortable room, excellent breakfast with large variety of choices. Panorama restaurant is a great improvement from the old cafe: I kept returning there for lunch and dinner. The menu, the staff, the location with great view of the city are something to look forward to. They also have live entertainment for dinner which made the night a special one.

Review 124：The swimming pool was jammed packed full of kids and their families. Impossible to swim. The jacuzzi had 6 people already in and the saunas was packed with people coming and going. We arrived with our swimming gear looking forward to profit from the facilities (which is why we choose this hotel), got changed but left immediately when we saw that the facilities were overcrowded. My partner also wanted to profit from the Spa Services but it was fully booked and was told that we should had booked the day before, so before we arrived in the city! We asked for recommendations of other spas/salons in the city and were given an incorrect phone number. Very disappointing stay.
