Review 1：The room was very very warm, even after turning off the heater. There are no windows that can be open, so no fresh air, but all the rest was perfect.

Review 7：The receptionist who dealt with us when checking out was particularly unfriendly. Rather than greeting us, he just stood, gawking, which was a bit uncomfortable. Besides that, the beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were poor (very thin, and only one). Maid didn't clean our room on our second day, despite being out for most of the day, meaning we had to ask for extra toiletries, etc. I think for the price, it could have been a lot nicer, with a warmer, and more profession feel. Not a four star hotel, in my opinion.

Review 8：The location was okay.

Review 9：The hotel offers bikes for use by guests, but that't not a practical option. They asked me to pay a large collateral, and then said that they do not have a bike lock ;] So instead of risking my money I used the NextBike (Veturilo) platform that's available throughout the city. One of the waiters was impolite during my stay (the typical arrogant type, although he couldn't even pronounce Sauvignon blanc ;) But when I complained he did not wait on me again. The other personnel was very polite and helpful. The hotel should provide security from the side of the river; a lot of people walk there, some of them will ask guests for money.

Review 10：I have stayed in HP Park Plaza three times now and I can summarize my experiences. First of all, the location is excellent. The hotel is on the river, and in Spring or Summer you can have breakfast outside looking at the river. You can go for walks on the river islands -- there are two bridges near the hotel leading to islands. The hotel has very comfortable rooms. The restaurant is excellent. I recommend trying the dinner and wine menu repeatedly, there are a lot of nice surprises. Breakfasts have a wider choice than in other hotels. Service is usually very good, as well.

Review 18：asked night receptionist for an extra pillow, as both pillows in our room were "flat" and very uncomfortable. Receptionist said that he can't help me because don't know where they keeping them and the room they keep them is probably locked and have no idea who's got the keys. Didn't want even to try! saying that he is sorry but I'm not the only one asking that night for extra pillows. Couldn't sleep well because of that. Absolutely unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. Shame!

Review 19：excellent location, lovely breakfast

Review 20：Hotel staff – friendly and very efficient – we needed to change the time of a taxi due to the very late arrival of our flight and the hotel sorted that out with no problem. The hotel is about a 10 – 15 minute walk to the main square and likewise to the cathedral and the Panorama of Raclavice (sp?). Rooms - spacious, complimentary water, tea and coffee, comfortable beds, nice bathroom with bath and a good shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. Restaurant – slightly unusual pictures in the restaurant (those appreciating nude works of art will enjoy!). Lovely terrace overlooking the river but I would advise a severe trimming or removal of the conifers as they very much spoil the beautiful view. Breakfast was good with plenty of fresh fruit, pastries, hot and cold savoury options.

Review 23：everything was good except that all the time there was a horrible smell of smoke in my room, it was coming from the ventilation, someone smoking in another room and all the smoke was coming to my room whole the night.

Review 24：Outrageously bad treatment received from the staff. The receptionist told me when checking-in she would block my card for more than twice as much as I was to pay for the room to cover possible damage or thefts I could do. She did not indicate any written law saying this was their procedure. My money was blocked by their bank for five days even though I stayed their only for one night. When I complained to the manger in writing she only replied that I myself confirmed preauthorisation using PIN code so they reckon everything is fine by them. I recommend staying away from that hotel. They also charge 50 zlotys for parking knowing that nearby there is not much parking space outside the hotel area.
