Review 1：The host was very thoughtful and kind to make arrangements to accommodate our late arrival, although we could not contact them early enough due to bushfire situation during our trip prior to Port Fairy.
Review 2：The motel is located right in the centre of all that was important to us. Supermarket, pub, chemist and shops all within 2 mins walk. And best of all lots of places to eat, drink and relax. Would definitely recommend this motel to our friends.
Review 3：Compendium was a little out of date and we needed to seek assistance from the info centre and local shops as to the events planned between Xmas and New Years.
Review 4：Close to everything. Able to walk to everything. The room was very quiet. I managed a 10 hour sleep one night which is totally unheard of for me! Parking was good and it was great that the back gate was closed each night. I also liked the security of the second door.

Review 11：They weren't kidding that this motel is centrally located! It is in the heart of downtown. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The room was great; everything worked and was clean. There is a refrigerator and a grocery store nearby.
Review 12：Paul at reception was very good. The town is nicely old fashioned, the walk by the river, and Griffiths island very scenic. Good eating in town. The motel is right in the middle of it all.

Review 110：central location - even if I did drive past 3 times! Just look in the middle of the block of shops - the entrance blends in very well with the shops. comfy beds.
Review 111：1. The absolute worst thing was that the only tap providing fresh drinking water and water for the kettle was on the wall of the Ensuite and centimetres from the toilet seat! I was horrified. I can't believe that this place passed Health and Safety checks. I refused to use this tap and was forced to buy some bottled water at the supermarket. 2. That aforementioned tap also was the cause of at least one bruise when using the Ensuite which was absolutely tiny. 3. The balcony was not accessible. 4. The outside stairs to our room narrow and steep. 5. The gardens look good, but unfortunately attracted a group of people who set up their wine and cheese there and settled in for a long night of loud talk and laughter. This was not monitored by staff who had locked the office at five pm. We were saved by the weather changing. In the summer though this would have been exceedingly annoying for guests who needed a good nights sleep before traveling. 5. No provision of any breakfast/food nor the means to eat in the room. Only a couple of cups and teaspoons provided. The place looks good but I would never stay there again.
