Review 1：It is definitely World class luxury hotel. Much better than 5 stars hotels I visited in Paris or Rome. I can compare it to the best hotels in London :)

Review 3：The hotel was beautiful and close enough to the busy squares to enjoy them but far enough away that we were not affected by the noise. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay at this hotel again.

Review 4：Smoking is still tolerated in certain hotel rooms/ indoor areas in Wroclaw, so you may wish to check that your room is smoke-free if you don't smoke.

Review 5：Amazing room and bathroom. Loads of space and lots of marble, lovely toiletry products. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Good wifi and very central location.

Review 6：Design of the room is a bit cold, temperature of room was cold, Nespresso capsules were sold for 8pln (more than 4 times the actual prices), mirror in the bathroom was not in front of the sink, we had to close 8 curtains to go to sleep

Review 10：In some ways the Hotel falls short of what one would expect of a "5 Star Hotel". The staff are not really forthcoming, they wont go the extra mile. For example, I asked a staffer why the Jacuzzi is cold. He said he would go check on it. I never heard back from him and the Jacuzzi stayed cold. There were other examples but its enough to say that the staff were rater "4 star".

Review 11：The interior looks stylish and pleasant. The "normal room" I had was surprisingly spacious. It is located a short walk from city center. The price was nice. The pool area was nice. Great breakfast selection.

Its clean presentation may seem to some as cold but it actually creates a sense of calmness and tranquility that you may wish to enjoy after a busy sightseeing or an entertaining night in located just few steps away from the hotel - The Main Square. The staff of the hotel is always to your service; they are extremely friendly and helpful. The wellness located in an underground gives you moments of perfect and pure relaxation. A restaurant Aquario at the top of the building takes you each time for a culinary trip you will remember for long and a breath-taking views from the roof terrace wrap all to an unforgettable experience. Lastly, the hotel is highly loyal to its customer showing appreciation whenever possible! Thank you Monopol Hotel and its staff - we are looking forward to seeing you again! Review 13：We had a perfect stay at the Monopol. The room was up there with the best we've ever stayed in on a city break and great value to add. The staff couldn't do enough for you, the facilities are excellent and the location is only a five minute walk from the main city centre. We couldn't recommend it enough.

Five stars experience is not about what hotel has to offer but how it is offered, the stuff should make your life easier during stay not harder.

Review 29：The Monopol is in a prime location for the very beautiful old town of Wroclaw, The hotel have managed to present an old world type environment with modern designs. I was very impressed with the roof top restaurant and the decor of my room especially the bathroom was beautiful

Review 30：First morning our shower overflowed, we vacated for 3 hours so they could fix, when we did return it was fixed but floor still wet and drain residue still in shower area along with wet towels which we used to stem water from blocked shower. Restaurant issues, closed restaurant first night to accommodate party,lunch great,dinner service gave fine dining a bad name, pompous, overpriced and most certainly over rated, this most minimalist of dining is dated and has been exposed as above description states.

The desk clerk refused to give me a receipt at check out because she insisted I had paid through Booking.com so I should get a receipt from them. I had to raise my voice and cause a disturbance before she finally have me a receipt. I felt like I was in communist Poland dealing with low level uneducated bureaucrats. Overall a very bad place to stay.

Review 43：The marble floors in the spa are lethal when wet: my wife slipped over. I had to unscrew the plug-hole cover in the bathroom sink to clear a blockage. Yes I could have asked Housekeeping, but it gave me something to do during a quiet half hour...

Review 44：The decor: wonderful satin gothic curtains that pooled on the floor, hardwood doors with flawed wood. The bathroom: spa bath with lights; ceiling shower/light combo; l'Occitane products; marble floors, walls, surfaces with flaws to match the wood. Bedroom: plenty of room and storage, wonderful pull-out wall-lights, excellent full-length mirror, spacious and comfortable bed. Spa: superb pool, spa, steam room & sauna. Pleasant and helpful staff. Central location beside the Opera: we heard a soprano warming up from our room. Manned public parking across the road only £10 a day. Rooftop terraces and bar. 5 Star luxe at considerably less than a Premier Inn anywhere in UK with added style and real history.

The second night, we were told by reception that at 9 p.m., the ground floor restaurant was closed but the roof restaurant was open. We went to the roof restaurant at 9:30 p.m. and were told that we could not have dinner because we did not have a reservation. The restaurant was half empty. We were told to go to the bar on the ground floor for food. When we got to the bar, the bartender told us that the kitchen stopped serving food. We were extremely disappointed by the lack of options and lack of willingness by the hotel staff to help.
