Review 1：Our room smelt like cigarette smoke which was really ironic after we had to sign a no smoking agreement during check in.

Review 2：Hotel is very close to a bustling market, and Is walking distance to the Baywalk. The hotel also has a shuttle service to the airport which was very efficient. There are also two large supermarkets on either side of the hotel. Very convenient!

Review 3：The music from the mall is very loud. The music from the fish market in the back by Bay walk starts very early in the morning and wakes you up in your room. The beds are very firm. When you use the dining room, they tell you what the dinner meal is and only offer a menu if you ask. If you ask, you feel like you are putting them out to order something different than their planned meal.

Review 4：The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, carpeted and spacious. They have showers and tubs. The bay view rooms have beautiful views. They bring welcome juice drinks and have a nice dining room and complimentary breakfasts.

Review 5：At night the neighborhood did not seem very safe, but we felt safe all the time there. May be there are cheaper places to stay, but this one follows western standars. Breakfast could be improved!

Review 6：The stuffs were very friendly and nice. The room was quiet and clean, very comfortable. Downstairs there is a supermarket and several food stores. Only two streets away from Puerto Princesa main street (Rizal Av). Easy to take a trycicle to move around.

Review 7：I had some difficulty checking out (it took nearly 30 minutes) because the credit card reader was not working properly. The staff was very apologetic. The airport shuttle van waited for us, so there was no problem.

Review 17：While a large king bed, the bed was extremely hard and difficult to sleep to sleep on. The bathroom was a unique setup but the towels were somewhat older and thinner. Moreover they were few. We asked for more towels two times. One time housekeeping did not come to replenish our towels. The front desk was earnest and well meaning but sometimes wasn't sure how to help or didn't have answers.

Review 18：The location was close to the airport and restaurants in Puerto Princesa. The room was very, very spacious.

Review 19：The hotel was not clean enough. You could see attempts to make it a fashionably furnitured place but it is a hotel arranged within a shopping center. Most of rooms does not have windows. If you stay only for a night and spend a day outside the building, it's not a problem. But the fact that there are spider webs in the hall and that towels have stains is a problem for me.

Review 22：Vacationed with a group of 11. For some reason my room was separated from the rest of my group. The front desk did not hesitate to move my room next to everyone else. We were picked up very early everyday for our tour but allowed us to get coffee before the breakfast room was opened.

Review 26：Staff was very courteous at all times, rooftop bar has a wonderful view, hotel is walking distance to Baywalk where it is a pleasure to walk after 5 pm and have dinner, hotel is also walking distance to Rizal Avenue, advance booking to various tours was a breeze, we were always informed about the status of the tours, airport transfer was smooth.

Review 29：The major problem of this hotel is that there is no one that has hotel experience to train the staff as to what is wrong.. Hardly any internet signal ( 0.2 mega) so impossible to do certain things and takes ages just to change a page.. Breakfast - a disaster with cold food , if there is any, and the staff just do not know what they are doing What they need are managers and people responsible for departments that really know what a hotel in 2014 should ahve and teach the staff.. I have 2 hotels myself so know what I am talking about.

Review 41：Beds were extremely hard, the hardest we have encountered in all our travels. Breakfast was not really that good No toaster available for our three day stay as it was broken. Funnily there was a store on level one selling toasters for very little, we offered to by one for them after the second day. Windows in dining area badly stained spoiling the view. I think they need a new manager or somebody a bit more in touch with the tenants and hotel needs. All minor things but very noticeable. Shame

Not sure if that was the fault of booking.com or the hotel itself but we were not picked up. Although not a big deal - hire a trike for 50 pesos. No other dining options close around but the hotel restaurant was ok too.

Review 90：hotel smells a bit stuffy, the music in the hallway was played loud enough to hear it in the room - not sure I am thrilled about elevator music on permanent loop when trying to sleep, staff are trying to be helpful but are not very good - we had booked a van up to el nido that was 1.5 hours late and no one was informing us what was going on. The see view deluxe rooms are quite ok, but don't expect to be using the balcony, there are some swamps behind the hotel so there is quite some smell and mosquitos. But its ok in the room Despite all the flaws we did go back for another night on our way back through Puerto, so wasn't too bad.

We were wondering why could not lock the door for one hour on the first day and spent long time with a staff to lock the safe. when the power went off in the middle of time, it took long time to switch to generator

Review 108：This is a One Storied Hotel; on the 4th floor of a supermarket; Therooms are located in 6 rows; only the 1st row have window with theview of the most populated street of pps and the 6th row has a view ofthe port area sea shore and embankment which is under reconstruction.Rest of the rooms (they are called deluxe) have no window; about whichthere was no mention in the website! Hope, viewers can imagine ourfeelings when we were offered a room without window in between 3rd and4th rows at the cost of 200 usd per night on 30th December and whenasked for a "sea view" room, we were told no vacancy. Onlyrelief was that we were there for two nights only, on the way to ElNido Resorts, Miniloc!

Review 130：Not the hotels fault but the continuous power drop outs of the town.Their generator took a few minutes to start but all good after that(wouldn't want to be in the elevator). Toiletries weren't alwaysrestocked. Woken up by house keeping even though the dnd sign was on.Wi-fi did not work in rooms, only public areas. Though advertised as Wi-fi in all rooms. Very far out from the main strip and tricycles alwaysripping you off with different prices.

Review 132：The tricycles in the front of the hotel trick you into paying more than you're suppose to. Those tricycles will also wait on you and will remember your face. Be careful!

Review 137：Sunlight Palawan is a great place to be budget friendly without sacrificing quality. The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern. The rooms were equipped with nice, comfy beds, a good air conditioning unit, and a 42-inch TV to top it off. The staff was always friendly and courteous. They were organized and always helped me with setting up tours or fixing minor problems.

Review 138：Rest of the breakfast was a little disappointing, weird fake orangejuice. Room had a window that looked onto an outsidebalcony/corridor that had various bits of stuff piled up and peoplewere often wandering past leaving you to wonder about security andprivacy. Beds were the hardest most uncomfortable we have ever slept on!Not sure if it was just our room but mattress consisted of small pillowtop then a wooden board underneath :( Wifi?
