Review 1：We paid 75 euro for a double room and got a room at the backside of the hotel which was nothing near the pictures on booking.com and their website... Paint was peeling off the walls, no paintings or decorations on the walls, no curtains, none of the lights were working... Dark and shabby so to speak. They said they were doing renovations but that's no excuse to sell a room in this condition, unbelievable. Luckily, we could me moved to another room so still had an amazing two days in Rotterdam:). However, first impressions are worth gold so would not recommend.

Review 2：First of all, the excellent location on the bustling Witte de Withstraat is unbeatable, just perfect! Also like the design of the lobby and bar; staff are ok. Good breakfast.

Review 5：Different in interior also means rooms on one floor being separated by curtains which can easily cause noise disturbance. Problems with the beds; booked on let's say bed C+D but what when other people just randomly pick beds? You can't sleep near each other, towels disappear and know one ones whether someone slept in the bed or not. And this happened three times! Just lead the guests to the booked beds and this doesn't happen. :) Covered this issue with breakfast vouchers, which was very kind!!

Review 6：Special hostel that's open for the public to have a coffee or lunch so kitchen not only for people staying in hostel, different than most in interior, great showers, cool safes.

Review 7：Hostel suited for young people. It is very clean and modern. The price is superb. The staff is kind and easygoing. You have lockers in the room, and there is fridge(in the kitchen downstairs) just for guests. You can rent also a bike(without a struggle going to rent to train station). In the later afternoon you can use the whole kitchen(well equipped) make your dinner, bake pizza, or sit with friends, in separate eating area near movie room :). WiFi works in whole complex, and is really fast. It was definitely a pleasant stay. On the leaving day, you can store your luggage in luggage room for free. Next time, I will go to the same place without thinking twice.

Review 20：I stayed In king kong for two weeks. Went home with a lot of red dots on my skin. Asked to my doctor.. He said that I was bite by bedbugs. This hostel is NOT CLEAN!

Review 22：The Mattress was hard, like a medicine ball. I was in so much pain with my back. I hardly slept. The noise from the streets kept me awake til gone 4am both nights, and I didn't like that fact that the downstairs area was packed with people that walked in off the street to enjoy the on site entertainment.

It's placed just a couple blocks of centrum and by night you can enjoy a movie in the "cinema" area with a huge Tv screen. I must say congratulations to the owner to have such an amazing team! Robert, Nuno, Kati, Bart, Semm, Alisa, Isadora, Matthijs, Niels and the rest of the girls I don't know their names (or don't know how to spell it) The room prices are cheap compared to other places but the comfort makes you feel you're in a 4 stars hotel. All the staff is really friendly. There're many extra things you wouldn't expect to see in a hostel (a small "cinema", many interesting decorations, a terrace). Review 65：The Hostel is located on a central street, with lots of bars! There's also a small terrace facing the street that you can use! Facilities are quite welcoming, modern and new! You can rent your bike for 10€ a day after a 100€ deposit. I would certainly recommend this hostel to young people who are interested in meeting other people and partying!

Review 66：The sharing of bathroom facilities can be hit and miss dependent on the people who are staying with you. That is normal for any hostel. I would advise going for the single loft beds as the bunk beds shake quite a bit with 2 of you in there.

Steady and fast wifi connection. Bathroom was clean and great, warm water was steady and temperature was adjustable. But bathroom needed to be tidied up after use as water ran all over the floor. - Cool location: 15 mins walking from Rotterdam Centraal, metro stations nearby, lots of bars and restaurants nearby, close to a supermarket Laundry costed €4 for washing and €4 for drying, detergent included (lovely!). Our clothes were not thoroughly dried but the boy at front desk gave us another coin for drying. Cool. My friends and I were sleeping separately, me at the deluxe female dorm and they at the mixed dorm with shared bathroom. Double bed in deluxe dorm was VERY luxurious for me (backpacker with tight budget), nonetheless, it was just cool! There were curtain and locker for each bed. But I think the mixed dorm at attic was great enough if you have tight budget! I wanted to changed my reservation for a cheaper bed as soon as I saw the clean and tidy mixed dorm with shared bathroom, but that was not possible as they needed to pay commission.

Review 93：The location is a bit far from the central station. It takes about 10 to 15 min walk. Because there are bars around the hostel, a bit noisy during the night.

The staffs could be more informed about the things that they're promoting and selling.

Review 100：I liked the bed, it's very comfortable. Staffs were all friendly and location is very near the station and city area.

Review 101：There is a big gap between the upper beds and the wall and nothing will stop you fall down to the ground. I find it super dangerous because the gap is bigger enough for you to fall. Although not all the upper beds have that kind of dangerous setting, I think the hostel should address this problem effectively because safety is the fundamental requirement for a hostel

Review 104：Definitely the best hostel I've ever sleep in (and I travel a lot!). Great beds (I was in female dormitory with queen size beds with curtains - which were comfortable and provided a sense of intimacy). The hostel is very clean and stylish, the common spaces are comfortable to work, eat, drink and meet people - and there are plenty of it, so you can choose if you want to sit by yourself in silence or to socialize. The staff was extra friendly and helpful. They have a well equipped, big and nicely designed kitchen, so you can easily prepare your meals. Location is great - in the very center of the city, on a beautiful street with many galleries, pubs and small restaurants (it gets a bit loud on weekends, but it's not very disturbing, I'm really noise-sensitive but still was sleeping well). If I ever come to Rotterdam again, I would stay there for sure!

Review 111：You don't get butter with your breakfast (strange, because you have bread, musli, etc... It's a good breakfast, just didn't understand the problem with the butter).

Review 112：It's a hostel, but it feels like a hotel! The rooms are new, well designed with large beds and lockers, and each room has its own toilet and shower! The common area is one of the best I ever saw. The staff is almost entirely very nice and happy to explain whatever you need. I really recommend it, it's the second best hostel I ever stayed.

Review 115：There is no elevator in the hostel so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs (but lets be honest: its the same issue for Netherlands in general) There was also no soap in the bathrooms.. which was strange

Review 116：One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in and that is why: LOCATION was perfect about 10-15 minutes walk from the Central railway station, in the very city centre, on the nice street full of different bars and restaurants. Just next door there was a particulary good place with live music BREAKFAST the quality you never actually expect from the hostel: fresh orange juice, delicious croissant, some fruit and yogurt with cereals. And the coffee was surprisingly good as well STYLE as the hostel totally matches the city itself with its modern artistic look CLEANLINESS dont know how, 24 hours a day it was totally clean. And also Linen and the towel are included in price STAFF all the guys who work here were 100% friendly, helpful... and stylish as well:)
