Reviews for Hotel Europejski Wrocław Centrum
Review 1:Although the room was not small it was quite narrow. The bathroom was almost as large as the bedroom - the bathroom could have been smaller with adding place to the bedroom The lighting was not great - it was rather dark there. Switching the hot water in the shower took about two minutes
Review 2:A comfortable bed, a very good breakfast. Very close to the railway station and close to the city center
Review 3:A major deficiency was repulsive cigarette smell in the bathroom, although the room was non-smoking and we explicitly requested non-smoking room. Cigarette smell was to know the actual room. As a minor complaint, I stated that the hotel's façade undergoing a total reconstruction, and in the morning we woke dělnízi on scaffolding.
Review 4:hotel location
Review 5:Really close to the train station - easy to drop our bags and stroll into the old city. Old-school euro style, exactly what i wanted from Wrocław (I actually stood on the street thinking "this can't be our hotel, it's too nice"). Our room was a few floors up overlooking the main street, nice view and not noisy at all.
Review 6:Dark, little rooms..
Review 7:Close to the main attractions and shops. The rooms are very small and dark, not easy to sleep well. A bit expensive compared to 4/5 stars around the corner. Staff was nice but spoke very little English. Breakfast was nice and wide selection of food. Not bad but should be cheaper.
Review 8:Breakfast had no food options for vegan and little vegetarian choices. We were a party of two but only one door key was handed- they said they didn't have enough card keys or there was a system failure. We didn't quite understand.
Review 9:Nice staff, convenient luggage storage for free.
Review 10:The carpet was very very dusty, decor outdated and plain ugly.
Review 11:location - just few minutes walk form the central station, the room was very quiet (facing the inner courtyard)
Review 12:We asked for a quite room far from the main road and on the first floor instead we got room on the 5th floor by the busy main road with some scaffolding work going on at 7.30am in the morning!! Breakfast very poor. We stayed there for the second and the last time.
Review 13:Location and clean room that's all.
Review 14:It was exceptional value, the location was excellent. The staff were really good. The carpet in the room was very old and needed to be replaced. Nothing essentially wrong with it. I had read that they had plastic under sheets which was untrue thank god. The mattress appeared to be brand new. There was no under sheet which from a hygiene perspective isn't great given the amount people sweat and skin they shed ordinarily. I have no problem reccommmending this hotel.
Review 15:Ludicrous that a mid-range hotel does not have any safes in the rooms. The breakfast was abysmal with machine coffee and very poor food.
Review 16:The room was spacious and comfortable. The wi-fi reception was very good despite me being on the 7th floor.
Review 17:The receptionist gave me the wrong time table for the airport bus, therefore ended up waiting for one hour for the bus early in the morning. The first bus was 5am. She told me it was 4am.
Review 18:The Location
Review 19:this was my second stay - first time i had a quiet room with a double bed, this time i got a tiny room with single bed right next to the lift.
Review 20:the location and breakfast were good
Review 21:Staff were helpful but could improve their English. One evening we wanted to dine in the restaurant and they could not accommodate us as they were catering for a group function
Review 22:Good value for the price we paid, breakfast good
Review 23:tv didn't work, sink faucet needs repair, no wash cloths, WiFi quite spotty, one elevator (9th floor),
Review 24:Location, maid service, breakfast pretty good
Review 25:The decor is a little dated, but if you're looking for a ridiculously cheap suite, this is the place to book.
Review 26:The property is clean and well-maintained, probably the second-best hotel this close to the station.
Review 27:-They didnt wake me up at 4.30 am as I asked about!. My phone didnt work! - bed smell in the bathroom, -no safe in the room - small rooms - no toilateries
Review 28:Free wifi
Review 29:Room was not made up in our stay. The view from the suite windows was on a decadent building, not on the city. Lamp in the bedroom was out of order.
Review 30:Convenient position for visiting the city centre and near the central train station. Quiet room. Good quality breakfast served in a nice salon.
Review 31:Nice hotel with excellent breakfast, very near the main train station. Staff were tolerant of my terrible Polish and spoke English to me when my Polish wasn't good enough.
Review 32:Very weak wi-fi - not possible even to check your mail in the room. Breakfast buffet not that great. We were missing slightly bigger selection in the "sweet" section of jams, honey etc.
Review 33:Very friendly and helpful staff! We stayed with two small babies and the staff did all they could to make our stay comfortable. Thank you!
Review 34:Non-working Wifi the second day.
Review 35:Location is great in conjunction to transport (train). Ca 1km to old town square which means walking distance to pretty much everything that the city has to offer.
Review 36:nearly everything: no towells on arrival, snoring security on the sofa, as 'europejski' I could say this hotel is more Moldovian than Polish. No offence for Kisheniov people please.
Review 37:reception staff friendly and full of empathy
Review 38:The staff could improve their attitude. It's not particularly nice to be ignored when arriving for check-in. The rooms could have air conditioning and should have a fridge.
Review 39:The location is good - 5 minutes from the railway station and a 10 minutes walk from the Old Town.. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was generous.
Review 40:Little choice of places to eat close to the hotel although there are some nice bars on Boguslawskiego. Only one lift for a hotel this size. Distance to Rynek. Although it has had recent refurbishment, the hotel feels a bit dated.
Review 41:Very handy for the station. Reasonable choice for breakfast. Whilst there is no smoking in the rooms, there is a little shelter on the 8th floor, which means that smokers do not have to go outside.
Review 42:Very dark in room. Not enough lights and very dull bulbs.
Review 43:Close to railway and bus station.easy walk to old town. Nice staff and a porter. Lift . Good size room and air con fairly quiet. Good bathroom
Review 44:Uncomfortably hard beds. Parking lot was across the street and very poor conditions. Dark at night.
Review 45:Very nice bathroom and room except for the hard uncomfortable beds. Location was across the street from main train station. We would have preferred to have been closer to the old town square.
Review 46:No car park on side staff of hotel not very friendly not even smile on their face ,lack of informations of the city for everything you have to ask if no- no answer
Review 47:Location of this hotel
Review 48:- while living on a highest floor u must wait for a hot water; smtms quite long... - the lift is veeery slow
Review 49:- good localization - good price - there is a lift
Review 50:The room was very cosy and very quiet. The bed was very comfy. I also enjoyed the hotel restaurant and the coffee bar.Very excellent staff and very nice service.
Review 51:No complaints.
Review 52:This hotel was perfect since we came in late at night on a train from Prague. It's a five minute walk from Wroclaw Glowny, and about 15 minutes from the city center. We ended up in a one bedroom suite which was lovely.
Review 53:Still issues with room cards, but reception always deal accordingly. Lack of milk or whitener for the tea facility.
Review 54:A great location for the city. Friendly staff, more smiles this time... :))) And great breakfasts and an evening meal.
Review 55:This hotel was located close to the train station and also located close to the main square . The staff spoke excellent English and were helpful and friendly
Review 56:location, noise, breakfast way to early and not good for people wanting a relaxation visit. over by ten on weekends ??? why??? would not stay again.l
Review 57:nice hotel with nice rooms. opposite train and bus station
Review 58:Quite a walk navigating the immense amount of construction to the center. Can't see this changing for a while.
Review 59:Idealy located near the station. Nice staff, very clean and comfortable.
Review 60:Everything was perfect for us - it's about a 10 minute walk to the old town which I guess is worth mentioning as other hotels are closer (but you'll pay more for them!)
Review 61:Free wi fi that worked well every time. Huge, comfortable bed. Double room (on the 6th floor) was warm and cosy and the windows opened for fresh air. Helpful, friendly staff that speak good English. Fantastic house keeping (towels changed daily), room spotless, large bathroom, great shower. £26 per room, per night. Unreal!
Review 62:Restaurant closed for refurbishment.Excellent Viennese style cafe/bar but closed too early 10pm.
Review 63:Location,staff,room with balcony,cafe/bar,price
Review 64:Inconvenient Parking Space + additional fee that you need to pay for a parking space which is outside and actually you leave your car on the street
Review 65:Location of the Hotel
Review 66:No coffee in the room. The only thing the lady at the reception could propose was a visit in a shop across the street. Really?
Review 67:I liked how peaceful the place was, nice sound-proofing. Windows could be opened, which is definitely a plus. Good location.
Review 68:The staff were very rude and unwelcoming and made anything seem like effort to them. The size of the room was very misleading in photographs and it's a very disappointing size with a very horrible view! Even though the hotel advertises large TVs in the room they didn't even work.
Review 69:I asked for a quiet room and got one facing the street. Terribly loud, poor windows without any noise isolation. Awful smell from the shower and sink, even in the elevator and on the floors. Cleaning staff was trying to compensate for this by using some sort of perfume.
Review 70:Close to railway and bus station, not far to the city centre, nice breakfast, good WiFi, fair price, free bottles of water on the room. Room was cleaned on a daily basis even on the weekend.
Review 71:uncomfortable bed, poor brakfast, lights not working until I went back to reception and they advised me to flip the card - they shoud have warn their guests in advance or place signs where they are visible.
Review 72:First of all, the receptionist was very rude. We came a couple of minutes before 14.00. She pointed at a sign and said "check in time is 14.00". This was annoying since the hotel was almost empty. Secondly the breakfast was very poor. There was no yoghurt, cheese was melted and the bread was old. What we disliked most was that the hotel decided not to take the payment in PLN (they took the payment before we checked in). Instead they took the payment in our own currency with a very bad change rate. This made the price about 4 EUR higher than listed on booking.com. This is not OK according to the rules of booking.com "The room rate offered at the time of the booking is guaranteed. However, if the booking is to be paid for at the hotel, your rate will be guaranteed in the local currency.
Review 73:Old beatiful bulding. The price was very good and it was close to the railway station.
Review 74:Shame the restaurant was unavailable. Some of those little milk cartons to go with the tea bags in the room would have been nice...
Review 75:Good location. Nice hotel. Great breakfast. Room very good and clean. Generally very good.
Review 76:Not too many food options in the area. The hotel is very old. One slow lift for 10 floors. As soon as you step out of the evlevators, the floor smells like a public washroom doused in cleaning agents to mask the odour. The room smells the same + the smell of a wet dog. The carpet should be changed. The room did look clean though. The walls are paper thin. You can hear your neighbours. People talking in the hallway sounds like they are in your room. Wifi was super weak, it would drop every other minute. It appears each guest has a limit, once that is reached, you can only slowly open one web page/app at a time.
Review 77:Very short walk from the train station and bus station, great if you have heavy luggage but it's a 15 min walk to anything interesting.
Review 78:This time our room was a little cramped, but otherwise very comfortable. Tea but no coffee in the room, but I don't want to nit-pick.
Review 79:We always stay here when we are in Wroclaw. Clean, comfortable, convenient - especially for the railway station and airport bus - efficient and helpful staff. Very good value.
Review 80:Smelly bathroom, stuffy restaurant. Ask for a room on the higher floors, otherwise there is noise from the street.
Review 81:Really friendly staff. Location near the railway station and relatively close to the city centre (walking distance). Nice cake and coffee shop in the hotel.
Review 82:very hectic breakfast - too many people! little bit noisy in the evening - tram in the street
Review 83:not far from the centre prety nice neighborhood - revitalized train station, shops, 5min walk from renoma city centre superb café rich breakfast
Review 84:The electronic key would not open the door or active the lights in the bedroom or bathroom, luckily I had one light available. The Receptionist did not offer any solution, only for the Hotel Porter to let me into my room and they were not interested to solve the issue.
Review 85:Comfortable beds Very clean Great location Great price Very nice and spacious rooms
Review 86:the room was a bit cold, and wraclow is not very touristic so its difficult to explore as english is not well known
Review 87:everything was good, breakfast, the room and staff were helpfull, 10 minutes walk from the centre
Review 88:When requesting a smoke free room, it does not necessary mean that all rooms on that floor will also be smoke free….as I have experienced myself…Room right opposite was a smoking room so that the smell of cigarettes was quite intense within the surrounding area. ...Nevertheless when complained about it, this was immediately rectified and all was ok. The other minor problem was that there is not a single ‘parking space’ outside the hotel even for a taxi. Be aware, when awaiting taxi ..Your partner may need to stay outside to look for the taxi …..
Review 89:Generally the room was good, clean and no issues found. Staff was pleasant and helpfully.
Review 90:Night staff didn't get room number right at first. Also, initially said it was an inside room when it wasn't.
Review 91:Location: c5 nub, to train station and bus to airport, 10 min. walk to historic center. Our room was on the 5th floor, so we didn't hear tram noise in early am, and elevator worked well. Beds comfortable, room good sized, clean. Everything looked new. Morning staff was very helpful, giving us good directions and providing luggage storage..
Review 92:Only tea no coffee available in rooms and cups are often taken away without being replaced
Review 93:Rooms are spacious and comfortable, breakfast here is excellent with wide range of bot hot and cold food and is available until 10 a.m. Hotel is well located for trams and buses and is only about 10 minutes walk from the town centre. Would recommend this hotel highly, great value for money.
Review 94:The bed was much too flabby. The street is noisy if you open the window, but when they're closed, it's OK. No fridge.
Review 95:The location is near the center of Wroclaw, with two supermarket in less than one minut of walk. Not far away from the main central station.
Review 96:I think the warm room made the bathroom smell.
Review 97:The hotel was near the train station which made it easier to leave early in the morning. The bed was comfortable and I liked that they have tea and coffee facilities in the room.
Review 98:Service Prior to arriving reception never answered the phone the evening before so I could learn where to park. I thus spent half an hour driving around Wroclaw to find parking on arrival day. I can do that, no problem. Just would have made life easier. On arrival the front desk staff asked for ID, two signatures and payment. Nice to meet you too. That is all they exist for, and not voluntarily imparting information or actually welcoming you. I concluded my encounter with a German Police Officer at a check point the day before was a more pleasant experience. Bed Mattress cover was too small for bed, leaving rough mattress exposed at head level. Bed was lumpy. Two single duvets were too small. Thin walls - snoring next door. Breakfast Breakfast cereal was cheapest rubbish I've ever tasted. One spoon full enough. One type of coffee, unhelpful waitress.
Review 99:Room furniture - it looked pretty. Elevator - roomy and quick. Fried eggs. Spacious bathroom. Wide hallways. Not crowded with guests. Sliding entrance doors - made for easy exiting of the building.
Review 100:View from the window. Old furniture that looked a bit scruffy. The cleaning lady forgot to clean our toilet and refill shower gel dispenser. But the rest was very clean.
Review 101:We booked a suite and were very happy with the size of it. Staff was professional but only the guy handling our luggage seemed friendly. Our bedroom was quiet and clean. Hotel interior including bar and restaurant looked very nice. Excellent location. Very close to shops and old market square.
Review 102:Wifi was available only on the ground floor, not in the room. The rest are minor quibbles - no plug in washbasin, coffee making facilities but cardboard cups, plastic beakers in the bathroom: do they see all guests as thieves?
Review 103:The hotel is a few minutes' walk from the station, the shopping mall and the theatre district. The room was comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The restaurant meals were very good, the breakfast selection was varied.
Review 104:Four nights runnig people kept me awake...argueing...drunk...tv on fullblast till 4 a,M...one night some people with clients with dissabilitieskept me awake all night...no english news papers only polish...noenglish channels on tv...no heating in the rooms and it was freeziing atnight..the bin men came at 20 to 5 in the morning dragging bins overcobbles..it sounded like a plane land in the room..the carpets dirty inand smelt .
Review 105:Good Staff...food was Good..HOTEL Policy not very..good...manager didgive me a refund of 300 pln...which was something...again no complaintsagainst staff.
Review 106:No possibility to on the heaters in the room and no heater in the bathroom. The room was cold and they said they only had 10 electric heaters which have already been given to other customers... No drinks and snacks in the fridge, so no mini-bar
Review 107:Nothing special
Review 108:Older hotel could use some upkeep. Not many restaurants in surrounding area ...but you will probably want to eat in the old town anyhow.
Review 109:Very close to the train station. Bus from airport stops close by. Short walk to old town. Amenities nearby. Staff was helpful. Room was a decent size.
Review 110:Horrible paper cups for making tea/coffee. Large crack in bathroommirror. Traffic noise, probably unavoidable in Main Street.
Review 111:Location, spacious room, comfortable beds. Nice lounge in foyer
Review 112:the beds are a bit uncomfortables, its possible feel the springs of the mattress.
Review 113:The instalations, the breakfast and the restaurant, and the location.
Review 114:The way of speech by some of the staff members are not so friendly, and feels like kind of a robotic tone. Staff training is a "must" to train them on how to talk to the visitors.
Review 115:10 min walk to old town area
Review 116:Car park was close even though it was separate and extra cost. Hotel location is good from railway and tram stops are near. Easy to go to Hala Stulecia.
Review 117:There was nothing we didn't like ...
Review 118:Out of the noise, busyness etc. of the town, quiet, yet close enough to the highlights. The beds were good, curtains really darkening the room (a rare experience in many accomodations in Poland), toilet/bath room very much OK. Staff was friendly, correct.
Review 119:The key was not working, but it was a temporary problem.
Review 120:Nice hotel, will stay there again. Very close to the shopping center, to the place where the bus from the airport stops and also close to the train station.
Review 121:We booked 2 rooms, one had tea/coffee making facilities the other didn't. The bed had 2 quilts on top but neither of them were as large as the bed. The fan did not work in the bathroom. Our room was near the pedestrian crossing that beeps often through the night.
Review 122:The hotel was clean, well presented and the choice of food was good for the breakfast buffet. About 20 mins walk to the old town centre which is very picturesque.
Review 123:Nothing
Review 124:Practically everything is good and convenient: location in 5 min from Main station and 15 min walking to Rynek, quiet place, excellent room service, good and sufficient breakfast, friendly personal, rather fast WiFi in the room.
Review 125:Lovely bathroom, but no hooks for clothing in it. Only teabags available with kettle in room, no coffee supplied, and despite the furnishings and decor of the hotel, we were given paper cups in the room. Traffic noise at front of hotel was very loud - trains, trams, and motor vehicles.
Review 126:Comfortable bed, good pillows, near to Wroclaw Glowny (main railway station) and easy to find. Good-sized room and bathroom. The meal we had in the restaurant was excellent. Coffee and cakes in the cafe were good too. If I was staying there again I would ask for a room away from the front of the hotel.
Review 127:Very few places to eat anywhere near the hotel. Hotel restaurant empty so not a good recommendation.
Review 128:Location good for bus and train station but too far out for sightseeing. A beautiful city but difficult to purchase bus and tram tickets. Little English spoken.
Review 129:A desk could be slightly bigger for working on computer.
Review 130:Great location, not far from the city centre, great value for money, comfortable and spacious room with a large bathroom, very quiet. For the same price will be glad to stay there again.
Review 131:Restaurant looked uninviting so we didn't eat there. Not many places to eat nearby so you need to walk to the centre.
Review 132:Very close to railway station and 15 mins walk to city square. Kept very clean even though carpet was tired. Quiet room with air conditioning (front ones might be noisier). Spacious bathroom. Fabulous, stylish coffee shop with great cakes! Tea and electric kettle in room.
Review 133:If your room faces the main road, it may get noisy. Ask for a room that is not above the main road.
Review 134:It was very close to the train station, clean, fair for the price
Review 135:This is the typical business hotel, functional enough, but with no charm. Only 1 elevator in a 9 floor building is not enough. You often have to wait. The hotel is almost in front of the train station and the area is not elegant (it does not look dangerous, though). City center is 15 minutes walking.
Review 136:The price was reasonable and adequate for what you get.
Review 137:This is perfect for the mainline station and bus station - i enjoyed the 10-15 minutes walks to Rynek as different routes allows you to sight see. Breakfast was very good for this level of hotel and the room was excellent for the price - this was very good and inexpensive accommodation - i kept booking extra nights and stayed 8 in total - thank you Europejski :-)
Review 138:The only elevator was busy both days from about 10:00 to 11:00 because maids were moving stuff I extended my stay and the other day I got to move to smaller and more expensive room so book via internet only if you want better and cheaper room. You have to cross 2 streets to get to your car
Review 139:Good WiFi coverage Location close to city center
Review 140:Great location, helpful staff. Been here for 1 night and spent a great first anniversary of our relationship in that clean and suprisingly spacious room. No noise from the street since we had a room facing the inner yard.
