Review 1：Smell of smoking permeating everything. Stank!! Tired - needs a redo. cockroaches. Mould in bathroom grouting. Reception staff on arrival were not welcoming.

Review 37：the mattress was too hard for our backs - which is personal preference I guess. The mini fridge was turned off at the wall which we didn't notice until the next day so our milk we bought to make our own coffee the next day went off. We can understand the motel wishes to turn off fridges for safety/energy grounds, but they should turn them on when they are expecting a guest or have a little sign for guests to do it themselves.

There are many missing sliders; and curtain hooks have been put directly onto the track - they make the curtain hang crookedly and they don't slide. They drag, and one needs nearly to stand on a chair to pull a curtain across. It's only a little complaint, but that one thing made the room look a little less than perfect.

Review 85：My booking was lost and the hotel was almost fully booked. The receptionist checking me in gave me a choice of a lower spec room or same spec right next to the bar. I mistakenly thought the "nicer" room would be better. I couldnt open my curtains all evening because there were a whole lot of people standing around drinking right outside the window. Same again at 9 in the morning! Had a great stay last time but this has left a very bad taste, especially when i was presented with a bill for the full price upon checkout. The lady at reception was the only positive to the whole stay, waiving the full charge when i complained about the room. The checkin person didnt even offer a complimentary drink at the bar or breakfast for the inconvenience!

Review 89：The room smelled horrible and we couldn't air it out as the door had no screen--the smell was so bad we had to dab perfume under our noses (really)! There were cracks in the wall and ceiling, the shower curtain didn't reach the bottom of the shower. Finally, we informed them what time we would vacate the room and 30 minutes before that time they shut the water off...not good!
Review 90：Location. It's on the bay and you can walk to the tourist spots. Instant coffee packets (seriously, the only high point).

Barman bordered on rude when I ordered a brandy - they didn't have any and I felt I should have been drinking beer like the other good Aussie blokes! Desk staff could only be found in the bar helping out - no-one on reception. Very noisy through the night with inebriated guests easily heard through the walls. This place is 'time-locked' in the 1970s.

Review 93：Having booked, and had confirmed, 2 waterfront rooms we were given 1 waterfront and 1 near the bar. When requested the 2nd waterfront we were given the one next door to the 1st one. Why didn't they do that in the first place????

Review 95：Thankfully our room was overlooking the water away from a very loud front of property where a band was playing. Wifi only able to get in the reception area which was very busy with concert goers.

Review 97：The attached pub/sports bar along side/opposite our room was very noisy at times. The pool was filthy and unusable. The staff couldn't find our booking on check-in and messed up the check-out process. Undercover parking was sometimes difficult to find. There were no coat hangers whatsoever in the wardrobe. Our room was very dark in the evenings with very little effective lighting.
Review 98：The view over Batemans Bay was superb, and the food (and beer selection!) in the pub bar was very nice. The room was clean (apart from the ashtray, which was full when we arrived and never got emptied during our four-night stay) and comfortable, if very basic and devoid of any luxuries.
Review 99：There supposed to be free WiFi, but I could not find anything with even remotely decent signal strength. We didn't mind, as the idea was being on a holiday not in front of the laptop, so we didn't press it.
Review 100：Quiet, sea-view, very helpful staff. It's on top of a pub but it is really quiet. The room is basic, with a '70s or '80s retrospective feel, but you have aircon, a fridge, a kettle, TV (commercial chnnels + ABC & SBS). Nothing is super comfortable or anything, but fairly adequate. Food in the pub is cheap and pretty good. Good location, too. Again, the staff is very friendly and helpful. We had a great time there.

The aircon was dripping on the floor giving the carpet a slight mouldy smell in that spot. Our friends had no bath mat supplied. No face washers were supplied.

Review 115：On arrival the room which we had booked had a nice view, the bathroom had a bath and it had a nice lounge. On closere inspection we saw the the floor in the bathroom had not been mopped because of the hair on it, the cups hadn't been washed properly and there were crumbs left on the bench by the cups, rubbish hadn't been removed from the cupboard, there was a fingernail left on the cushion on the bed and fresh stains on it, the coverlet had cigarette burns on it. the bed was mmade but obviously not much else had been done. So we asked for another room- opened the door and it hadn't been cleaned. We asked for a third room and it was not where as nicely set out as the first room but it had been cleaned. We were still charged the same though even though it was smaller, did not have a bath or the lounge. This is for workers, not for anyone looking for a nice place to stay. Give it a miss.

Bathroom needs serious renovations, water from the shower was leaking from the grouting behind the toilet leaving the bathroom floor constantly flooded. No internet connection in the room No fly screens so you could not keep windows open and there were lots of bugs coming in at night.
