Review 1：Everything was very clean. There were some nice extras such as biscuits and fresh plunger coffee. The towels were nice quality and soft not the usual thin stiff kind. Staff were friendly and helpful and have good reference for eating out.

Review 12：We left some clothing behind and they kept it until we were able to collect. Staff were very friendly. Location was good, close to main road but very little noise.

Review 85：We didn't realize we had to have the password to access wifi so were annoyed when unable to access it after the office was closed. nothing to tell us this nor was it mentioned at check in time. Complained next morning when checking out nad only told then we'd need password.

Visitors who arrive very late, obviously have imbibed freely of the grape and consequently are noisy and probably awoke more of your guests than just us. I do not know how you manage this.

Review 92：Smoking outside of next door's accommodation. The smell of smoke drifted into our room and although we had the air conditioning on, was very unpleasant. May we suggest you book smoking visitors in the far side rooms of the motel or ask them to smoke in the bbq area. Or ban smoking altogether.

It meant we had a very quiet sleeping space apart from the fact we had to walk up stairs to the bathroom at night..the top 3 steps being a bit creaky...The beds were firm and comfortable. We also had a cooked breakfast in the morning which was delivered on time and very well prepared and pretty good value for 15 dollars. The shower worked perfectly and enjoyed the free hot drink sachets. Enjoyed the stay !

Review 101：I had booked in as a solo traveller to attend a funeral in whakatane but my brother, his wife and son decided on the day that they wanted to stay over as well. I asked if we could upsize and the guy serving us was really cool about moving us into another room on the spot and gave us a really reasonable price for the night. He also greeted us in te reo which was really awesome. The shower door came off and when we rang the lady was apologetic, it had just been seen to by a workman she said...she offered us another bathroom which was cool, but we managed without having to move.
Review 102：Someone staying in another unit parked right outside our unit late at night and left their diesel vehicle running for some time which woke us up. Suggestion - room keys for security reasons could have a PO Box only on the tag for return if lost , dropped etc. and not the Motel name.

Review 109：The 'free Internet access' consisted of a code for just a small fixed download limit (100 MBytes, I think). This is unacceptable for a motel or hotel! It would be like telling guests that they can use only a small amount of electricity, and then it will get shut off.
