Review 1：The breakfast area gets crowded easily so don't go near the end of the period.

Review 2：Spacious and comfortable villa, with large areas, a common garden around a lake, but with a private area, balcony and all kitchen appliances. The indoor pool is also good. The hotel area is very pleasant and quiet. The price is very nice considering all.

Review 3：Was a bit quite for families and would have liked to see more activities around the Hotel as well as some entertainment in the evenings. Difficult to get around without a car.

Review 11：The beds were too hard and made it very uncomfortable to sleep. After 3 nights they provided a mattress cover which made a great difference and made sleeping much more comfortable. The sofa's were also uncomfortable

Review 13：No chairs/loungers to sit on on the balcony. Not enough seats for a family of five around the outside table(only had three chairs) so had to keep bringing out two dining chairs from inside. Could have done with a toaster in the kitchen.

Review 14：It is a quiet, pretty, well looked after resort. No big crowds. Very accommodating staff. The villa was modern and clean. The best accommodation we have ever stayed in. It made our family holiday one of the best we have ever had.

Review 17：1. Our refrigerator wasn't working when we checked in. They were able to replace it the next day. 2. No wifi in our villa. We were able to get a modem that allowed wired internet access, but I had to buy a travel router to provide WiFi in the house. 3. Hard/uncomfortable mattresses (that were also very noisy any time you moved!) 4. Generally, there were little annoyances everywhere: nowhere to hang a towel in the bathroom adjacent to the living room; some furniture falling apart a bit; not enough power outlets; great terrace/balcony but no patio furniture outside (except next to the pool on the ground floor.) 5. Hotel charged me 3EUR for breaking a wine glass. I found that pettty, especially given the fact that our fridge wasn't working! 6. The cleaning staff cleaned the house every day, but had no working vacuum (they told us all three had stopped working, and they weren't given replacements.) I can only imagine the dirt in the rugs!) I really, really wanted to love this place. The villa was lovely, but there so many little things that were off, that it's hard for me to recommend this. Perhaps if they didn't claim to be a 5 star resort, I would have been less harsh?

Review 18：The villa was spectacular. Great layout with huge living/dining area and en-suite bathrooms in each of the three bedrooms. The private pool was great. The villa's furnishings were generally of a high-standard. Location is very close to Carvoeiro city center for nightlight and has great beaches within about a 10-15 min drive (as well as several golf courses.) Ideal if you have a car and don't mind using it everyday.

Review 49：The villa was showing signs of wear after the summer season with damp patches visible and sides of tables peeling. The Villa had a beautiful kitchen but not a huge variety of pots pans so you had to make do. It would be nice if there were basic things like a small bottle of cooking oil/salt/dishwasher tablets so we didn't have to spend money on larger items that we then had to waste. The villa we were allocated was the show home and the only one where all the lights and shutters were run on a computer by the front door. Unfortunately alarms had been set prior to our arrival which meant that at 5am every morning the system reset causing all the lights to come on and all the shutters to go up. This was not able to be fixed for several days as they needed someone from the computer company to fix it. Ants are a definite issue here. We had two infestations during the week they seem to be able to get in from anywhere, once through the light switch and once through the door frame. You cannot leave glasses or food anywhere they even managed to get into a drawer so we had to keep everything in the fridge. There is no wifi in any of the rooms although you can ask for a modem free of charge if you have a laptop. This wasn't ideal with 3 grown up children with iPads who had to go sit in reception which was the only place to get a very slow connection.

Review 50：The overall presentation of the villa was outstanding. The private pool was lovely to have. The food in the on site restaurant was excellent. The location was perfect for us but you would not be able to see any of the local places without a car unless you were a serious walker. There is an aldi and intermarche nearby with good quality and well priced food. Our issues with the ants and alarm system were dealt with fairly quickly and the manager came when we asked. We were offered a discounted meal in the restaurant for the issues we had without requesting it which was appreciated.

Review 53：Overall building quality is poor, despite being just three years old many small things in the appartments are not ok (e.g. plaster falls off, roller shutter blocked). During the stay room cleaning is done in a very basic way. Breakfast is only available till 10 am.

Review 54：Near to many nice beaches, due to large area guests are not all on one spot, breakfast has a broad selection and is fresh. Apartments are very spacious, beds are comfortable, mosquito screens on nearly all windows and kitchen offers everything what is needed.

Review 55：Dirty pool. They didn't clean the pool regulary. We had to get them to clean it when we arrived. It was full of dirt... They refused to clean it more than this one time during our 14 days of renting the house. They also turned of the cleaning system in the pool claiming it wasen't necessary to have it on. :-/ Beds has hard madrasses. Poor spa.

Review 61：Shuttle bus was not operating until our holiday was finished. Were not giving an explanation, yet we seen it operating on several occasions by different members of staff. Frustrating really, we were paying 5-7euros a day on taxis each way in to carverio town center.

One other thing worth mentioning is that there isn't a beach in easy walking distance, but we had hired a car so it wasn't an issue.

Review 64：The suite was fabulous - two storey accommodation kitted out to a very high standard. It was great to have a patio and also a balcony. (The difference in the prices for the suites appears to be sea view/garden view - We struggled to establish this from the website, so asked at the hotel.) We were one of the furthest apartments from the pool (as we had requested a sea view), but it was only a 5 min walk to the pool and that was at toddler speed. The gardens surrounding the suites are well maintained and the suites are designed and staggered in such a way that you are able to maintain privacy on the balcony/patio. Really rated this resort and would definitely recommend.

Some examples ? when you arrive, tired by your flight, no body to take your lugages, no body at the entrance, no body to walk with you to your appartement when you arrive... You have to instal yourself the LAN for INTERNET, alone to try to regule your heater in the winter..... etc... You need absolutely a car, this hôtel is not in the city !

Very strange to say but useful information I think: After 2 days with hernia in hospital for 11 days. Hospital Particular Algarve in Alvor. Very good hospital. Very good staff. Recommend by Health Insurance company CZ in the Netherlands. And, but I hope you do not need it, recommend by me.

Review 75：this is the second year we have stayed in the same house and it was not as good this year. It had not been properly prepared - the freezer was completely iced up. The bathroom is no way near 5star- there was a lot of mold on the ceiling which had never been cleaned. The shower cubicle leaked and the underfloor heating never worked. There was also mold and lime scale round the tiles in the shower as well as round the window
