Review 1：Staff is very friendly, helpful and the service is quick. We love that indoor swimming pool is even warm during the colder months. We also enjoyed the breakfast with large variety very much.

Review 2：The only negative is the temperature of the pool (cold) - but you do get used to it!

Review 6：The complex was in the middle of nowhere which was great as the place we were going for a wedding was very nearby. However I would have expected that as the location was remote they would have had an ATM. I need to get a taxi for 10 mins to get to the nearest ATM to get cash

Review 8：We loved the friendly and helpful staff including reception, Olive Restaurant and cleaning staff. The breakfast choice was varied and suitable for all tastes. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. The bed was massive!

Review 9：Nothing really. When we arrived we did have a few ants but the cleaner was there in 5 minutes and got rid of these.

Review 10：This hotel is exceptional! The staff were so attentive and helpful. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel. We had a two bedroom townhouse which offered spacious and very comfortable accommodation. The kitchen was was modern and had everything you would need. The Siemens washing machine was a bonus. The location was also great and it is just 8-10 euro's to get into town or a 45-60 min walk which we did and enjoyed several times.

Review 11：Not the best location, far from everything, bed was ok, not great, wifi was weak, pool and gym are decent but nothing special, towels are worned..This is a 4 star not a 5 star.

Review 13：Very small pool, totally inadequate for the number of guests. Lack of staff around the pool and poor maintance of the pool arear. Very hard beds. Townhouse is actually appartment on 1 level, very missleading. 1 shower with 2 doors into each bedroom was not ideal for families with older children, no privicy and no good for 2 couples sharing. Air conditioning in main bedroom was not working properly and never resolved during our stay.

Review 15：Very little to fault about this resort. It is a little out of the way so a car is a must if you want to get out and about. My only small gripe would be that the pool area is too small for the resort, we were there early July so not even quite peak season yet but it was very difficult to get a sunbed round the pool area to watch our daughter playing in the pool. There is a huge ornamental pond that could easily be converted into a bigger pool area with more sunbeds. We found as the resort got busier more and more people were just going down to the pool area early in the morning and "reserving" sunbeds with towels which is a little unfair on everybody else, but in some ways understandable. Really for me this was the only thing that needs improved.

Review 16：The townhouse we stayed in was fabulous, great layout and facilities. The resort is compact, very well kept and pretty. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Great spa and pool area. A totally relaxing holiday.

Review 17：We had ants in our apartment. It took 3 calls to get housekeeping to come and look and even then all they did was spray them and leave them for us to sweep up. The ants came back and eventually (fed up with calling reception and house keeping not turning up) we had a daily ritual of killing the ants and sweeping them up. The daily house keeping, when they did turn up, barely did anything - a quick tidy and making of the beds. Not like at Monte Santo where they would ensure that any unfinished dishes or items in the dishwasher were put away. We were also left with dirty old rags to use as tea towels.

Review 20：All the facilities are there and even tennis courts. The staff are very friendly. Breakfast is good even though we would have preferred it to be extended to 11am as we were on holidays.

Review 21：The hotel has plenty to do on site, tennis, swimming, spa etc. Due to it's rural setting to get to the nearby towns and beaches we hired mountain bikes from the hotel and enjoyed the challenge of the local hills. The difficult terrain is probably not manageable for novice cyclists, although Ferragudo is the easiest, flattest place to reach by bicycle with nice restaurants and beaches.

Review 26：kitchen in house was very poorly equipped with the basics such as plates and cutlery. Beds rather hard and uncomfortable (I appreciate this is a personal preference and some people might like this). Maid service seemed perfunctory and they only came at around 6.30pm each day.

Review 71：We choose this hotel, as it offered a romantic package that includedbed and breakfast, an evening meal plus a spa treatment and half a daysbike hire!!We booked to stay one night to celebrate my birthday. Well,we were not disappointed, from the moment we arrived the staff couldnot do enough for you. The room was excellent with great views. Thegrounds and gardens are immaculate and everywhere felt cared for. Wehad lunch at the pool bar, again well presented. We enjoyed a half hourmassage in the spa, followed by time in the Turkish bath/steamroom. We followed this up with a swim in the indoor pool. Everywhere isvery clean.Our room was a good size with a super king bed. When we returned, the hotel had delivered a complimentary half bottle of champagne and fruit skewers and chocolate dip!We had dinner in Olives restaurant, where the staff were very welcoming and attentive. They all knew we were on the romantic package and also that it was my birthday. (Obviously there is excellent communication between the staff.)Our included meal came from a limited choice menu, However, for a supplement, you could choose from the a-la-carte menu and order different courses from a combination of the two menus. As we were celebrating my birthday the hotel gave us a full bottle of champagne with our meal. It was finished off with a beautiful surprise birthday cake!! The restaurant had a nice ambiance and was softly lit.The standard check out time of 12pm was also appreciated, giving us time to enjoy the facilities of the pool and gym again in the morning. My partner was also able to join an aqua aerobic class for free. We enjoyed using these facilities indoors as the weather can be changeable at this time of year in Portugal. If you prefer a less active time you would still find this a beautiful and relaxing place to stay.
