Review 1：It was too hot and there could have been more pillows. 4 pillows for 5 people? Lucky i carry my own. The staff was quite rude on arrival.

Review 2：The kids loved the pool and little playground.

Review 3：We loved the private thermal spa behind our unit. The rooms were spacious and well equipped. We were close to the town and attractions, but in a quiet spot.

Review 4：The lodge's restaurant "Campbell's" was really bad! And I am usually forgiving of bad foodie experiences but seriously, go into town for a meal if you stay here ('Eat Street' by the lake is awesome). Cartoon network was blaring in the background (with no kids around), the entree was utterly awful and bizarre, my vegetables tasted like they came out of a frozen veg bag (and somehow were cooked terribly), and my partner's salmon didn't taste right... the next day we saw them in the kitchen putting a salmon steak into the microwave - mystery solved! On top of all that we paid top dollar for that dining experience... Don't do it friends. The water temperature in the shower was a bit temperamental, unfortunately, and seemed to be related to water usage, even from the neighbouring rooms. Other than that, we had neighbours who played music very loud at 7:30 in the morning one of the days, but I'm sure that's not too common.

Review 5：The rooms were really nice and tidy little apartments, and the private spa pool out the back of the room was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room had all you could need - pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc. Just don't forget cooking oil like we did! We were really impressed by our room (Double apartment & private spa), we could've stayed much longer than the 3 days we had there. The value was alright; there are so many motor lodges and hotels on Rotorua's main strip into town, Fenton Street, that I kind of expected it might be a little cheaper with all the competition. We were glad with our choice though. As for location, we were able to walk home from the town centre after a night out, which took maybe 25 mins (from fuzzy memory!), but location isn't so important in Rotorua because most of the attractions are scattered around and a lot are just out of town, so you have to drive to a lot of places anyway. Again, the restaurant was so, so bad though. JS. Don't let it put you off staying here though! Just don't bother eating there if you do.

Review 6：Like much NZ accommodation, there was no air conditioning or portable fan - should of asked for one in hindsight. Having a car was helpful.

Review 7：Large, comfortable and clean rooms with good facilities. Good standard restaurant on site and staff efficient and polite. Facility was set back from the road which was a defining feature compared with most other sites.

Loved the location, we were able to walk to Te Puia geothermal park & was only a few mins drive to other tourist spots and supermarket etc.

Review 14：The lighting in the units is very poor. We had two adults and 3 children however we got a double bed and 2 single with a fold away. Not really satisfied with that considering other units were two bedroom and would have suited us better maybe this could have been pointed out to us at the time of booking ? The cleaners left the previous guests used cotton wool buds complete with ear wax on the floor and hand rail that I removed after my kids told me and then the following day left our room open all day after they had cleaned it. The pool was nice and warm but is in dire need of a makeover/ tiling etc. Also considering there are 22+ units we thought there might be more than one washing machine and drier. Over all we found the area that we were in was dated and tired. Oh and in the description of facilities in the room when it says oven don't you expect an oven not a MICROWAVE oven as I was told when I questioned this.

Review 20：bad service!!!!!We go to reception and told them have some bad smell in the room. Can they help us fix the problem or give us air freshener. they felt impatient and quibble that's the smell from rotorua nature air. We are not first time been rotorua. we know what's that smell. And we told them we felt itchy when we sitting on sofa. and can we borrow raid or please fix it. The staffs think that's funny. Let we think we can't say anything or complain anything. If we just say the truth and made trouble for you, or you dont want to listen anything from customer. You can put the notes on your website first. that we can shut up and just stay.

Review 29：Wylie Court Motel is a great place to stay for families. It is neat, clean and very comfortable. We found the beds nice and fluffy, and the duvet covers just the right type for the warm summer days. Too often motels provide blankets that are not suited for the climate, but Wylie Court knows what to offer. The salt water pool was very clean too. It The motel has a nice playground and garden and our children loved it. The entire place has the feel of a private residential enclave. We saw quality families coming and leaving. As we entered Rotorua we unfortunately lost our car but the friendliness of the staff helped beat the blues. Shona and Tony are top class hosts who have not only maintained the place in great nick but they are genuinely helpful too. Tony offered a lift to the Tourist Information Centre in his beast - a 7.6 litre Ford wagon. I took up the offer the second time and walked (20 minutes) back with my son. It was a very enjoyable walk because we saw a whole lot of things we wouldn't have otherwise. Will def come back.

Review 30：Booked for 5. Got Beds for 5. Table for 2, but had 4 chairs. Whats the point in that. Had to eat on beds.Sheets smelled like curry on one double bed. Only one 2 seater but it was the bed.So nowhere to sit and relax after a day of tours.Toilet is right next to kitchen, requested by sign not to cook smelly food.Felt like a secondclass customer because I booked through booking.com. Only has one washing machine and dryer for entire complex. Washing machine free,dryer $2.Rooms are outdated and grotty.

Review 48：It would be good if the main curtain in the lounge was thermal or a sun blocking curtain as the unit was facing the morning sun (unit 24) which was very very bright so early in the morning. Upstairs bedroom was hot which made it difficult to sleep. I turned the ceiling fan on which was great but then it was noisy so still found it difficult to sleep.

Review 58：Wylie Court is amazing we would stay there again and again :D we had the 4 person room our 6 year old wanted to live there forever our older children had the 5 person room. We arrived late in the afternoon but spent hours in the warm pool then as the sun went down we went to our rooms to enjoy the bubbly spa which was very clean and relaxing. The environment of the entire motel was very warming and comfortable. We also had friends who stayed at the motel as well they enjoyed a dinner meal in the restaurant and were bragging about how delicious the whole meal was, we went out and brought take-aways as we had alot of mouths to feed :D. We look forward to our future stays :)

Review 95：The general standard of the cleanliness has dropped. Water marks and rotten wood surrounded our spa pool. The food at the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. It was not worth the $170 we paid.

Review 101：The room was cold. There was no central hot water heating radiators in the bedrooms and the one in the living room was ineffective. We had to ask for an extra heater. The bedroom curtains were too thin and didn't block out anywhere enough light at night-time.

Review 105：Having stayed at this motel many times before and has been our favourite place to stay in Rotorua we were disappointed that the outdoor heated pool was barely warm enough to swim in on this visit. We have kept returning to Wylie Court because of the heated pool which has always been a lovely temperature even in the middle of winter! We asked the staff twice during our 3 night stay to warm it up but unfortunately they didn't oblige! Wifi was free but very poor signal in our unit.

Review 106：A reasonable place to stay but for the minimal additional cost would recommend booking an executive unit as the standard units are in need of refurbishment.

Review 107：No net curtains across sliding door entrance so no privacy in the daytime. Like living in a fish-bowl. Couldn't open curtain until dressed in the morning and no alternative windows for natural light source. PLEASE bring back the nets!
