Review 1：Dodgy tricks from the receptionist at arrival: - Unfriendly and placed us in a tiny and dirty room - said there were no other free rooms until we complained: Turned out there were plenty of empty rooms these days matching the description. - Charged us in foreign currency adding 5% to the bill without asking - Didn't know the terms and conditions that we booked under. Worn down hotel: Dirty carpets, scruffy walls and hall ways, sink and tiles.

Review 2：Great location in a beatiful area. Good service at check out: Our last day was refunded as a courtesy, because we had problems sleeping there, due to a bad indoor climate and a low cleaning standard.

Review 3：We had the King suite which was spacious and comfortable. Pleasant location within easy walking distance of main attractions. The Hotel can arrange a taxi for you which can save you being ripped off.

Review 4：On my second day, coming back in late afternoon, i noticed a woman's sock under the bed, probably from a previous guest. No big matter, nothing bad to say except this "accident". Cleaning was good after all.

Review 5：I just needed a place to sleep and to take a shower so i can just talk about the position, the room and the receptionists (i didn't even take a breakfast). Good and kind staff at the reception desk, nice room and bathroom for the price i paid, Wi-Fi working, great position to visit the town. If you, like me, just need a "place to sleep" hotel Tumski is a good choice. Can't talk about other services i didn't try.

Review 6：Great accommodation on the water with lovely evening views and within walking distance to main points of interest and a short walk to the Shopping Gallery. Delicious menu and excellent service all round. I look forward to staying there again next year. I would definitely recommend an Apartment Suite as the standard of the room was excellent with a spacious living room area and bathroom with big bathtub.

Review 7：what's the point of advertising the extra 2 hours for check out as a "genius perk" if it's not possible in reality? the staff in the reception was rather absent and ignorant, which was surprising, since my experience from last stay was very good.

Review 9：(1) the nearby park on the island seems to attract many young people in the night so it may become quite noisy outside; (2) once I came back to the room and found the door not closed (though I did close it in the morning).

Review 10：Excellent location close to old town, nicely located on an island in the river. Everything can be reached by foot but if you prefer public transport, there are several tram lines just passing in front of the hotel. Good breakfast; friendly staff; good bed and spacious room.

Review 11：The experience was slightly marred by annoying small details. The principal one was that the washbasin had no stopper but there was also no bulb in the lamp on the desk and we were kindly provided with mineral water but in bottles that required a bottle opener which we had to borrow unlike in other hotels we stayed at in Poland where the mineral water was in screwcap plastic bottles. We reported these issues but nothing was done.

Review 13：I think it's excellent to have a hotel and youth hostel in one building. It enables people to go as a group without the problem that some people would prefer a youth hostel and some would prefer a hotel.

The hotel staff haven't confirmed our requests which were sent using booking.com system regarding car parking and breakfast. Luckily, they confirmed our requests during check-in. A little bit later... :( The air condition might be an advantage while outside temperature is 36 C.

Review 52：The greatest thing about this hotel is the location, close to the Rynek and just in front of the picturesque island Tumski. It's very easy to get to the hotel by tram from the railway station.

Review 55：The Tumski Hotel is located very comfortably, between the Tumski island and the Old Town on the Odra River. It's really great place. The staff was very attentive. Barka Tumska is very good restaurant with good dishes and middle prices.

Review 58：Tea & coffee facilities would be nice to have. Noisy houskeeping stuff - you really shouln't hoover corridors ~9 am on Sat and bang walls with a hoover. Apparently houskeeping comes only in the morning (b4 noon), because when we left during two days ~12 pm and came back later in the afternoon, our bed was not made unfortunately, the room & bathroom weren't cleaned and we did not get new sets of toiletries.

Review 60：The breakfast room was overcrowded with people and there was not enough room for everybody. As a result, we had to take the food (without coffee - a long queue!) to the hotel room. It's a shame there were no more tables and chairs in a nearby room.
