Review 1：The heating didn't work, neither hot water. We informed the reception but we didn't receive any apologize or compensation, nothing.

Review 3：My only regret is that we could not stay longer. We only had one night at this wonderful guest house. The hotel could not be better located – only one block off the beach. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a kitchenette and separate sitting area. This hotel is an incredible value given its location and the quality of the accommodations. Breakfast is not included but there are cafes nearby where you can enjoy your morning coffee seaside. The vistas and the sunsets are stunning. We had no idea that Ericeira was so jaw droppingly beautiful. What an unexpected gift! We did have difficulty finding the guest house because our GPS had a meltdown and couldn’t direct us through the twisting lanes. But a lovely man came to our aid and led us directly to the hotel and helped us park the car. We found that in Portugal that whenever we got lost (which was often) that people went above and beyond to take time out of their day to help us to our destination. Can’t say enough about the wonderful hospitality we received!
Review 4：Dirty rugs, broken shower items. Limited check-in period, and staff not there during that time either. (I saw people with luggage trying to get in.) Non-existing instructions for getting there. Departures are difficult, too: staff arranged for a taxi and promised to be around, but neither taxi nor staff showed up. Too complicated!

Also the staff were not rude but unhelpful, we barely had any interaction with them, there was no help about area, maps etc. After traveling around Portugal and receiving such hospitality elsewhere, this was disappointing.

Review 24：The room/studio that we had was really lovely. Nice large shower room and a small kitchenette area. the beds were comfortable. Our key stopped working on our last night but after a quick call a member of staff was with us within 10 mins to rectify the problem. We were met in the town and walked to Casa das Aguarelas by the delightful Susanna as our sat nav had failed! She was really helpful with our bags up the quite steep steps up to the first floor. The house has a small outside area which is nice to sit in and soak up the sun
Review 25：Plastic undersheet we discovered the following morning. It is impossible to sleep with a plastic undersheet - you wake constantly bathed in perspiration. Such sheets are insulting as neither of us is incontinent.

Review 28：The two staff members with whom we had contact were friendly, efficient and spoke excellent English. The location was fantastic and the room was functional but comfortable and just right for our needs. We would certainly go there again.
Review 29：I could hear other guests in their bathrooms when I was on the terrace. I found that embarrassing. I missed a breakfast table, but it isn't a B&B, is it ? The kitchenette and the opportunities in Ericeira to take breakfast made up for that. We bought a parasol for the beach and left it in the room for future guests.
Review 30：hospitality of Bruno and Susana. He came at 22.30hrs to the bus station to pick us up. He even carried one of ore suitcases ! I have never Susana without a smile. We appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms, the excellent location the tasteful interior we felt at home ! I would love to go again.

Review 32：Nice apartment. Well decorated. Very good bathroom. Very comfortable for a short visit to Ericeira. Nice staff. You will be in the middle of Ericeira, which is very nice to walk around after a great dinner. We recommend!
Review 33：We were there in mid-August. It was very loud during nights. There was a stage located in the neighborhood, and for more than a half of our stay in Ericeira (we were there for 10 days), there were concerts being played, that started late in the evening and finishing around 1am. It was very loud and made it almost impossible to sleep. It was quite a hardship, taken the fact that we were there on holidays with a baby under 2 years old.

Review 39：Musty smell in bedroom as a result of throw and cushions on bed. Had to remove from bed and put in wardrobe because of the smell. Unfortunately they were put back onto bed every time it was cleaned. I would advise that they are either washed regularly or removed altogether as they serve little purpose.

I emailed in advance advising that we were travelling with a 7 mth old requesting a cot an kitchenette and they were very accomodating. Lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. Room cleaned daily with fresh towels.

Review 46：Bruno the manager helped with every aspect of our trip including directions from the bus to the hotel, bus schedules, and printing our boarding passes. It was nice to be able to communicate by email about the logistics of getting to a new town we were unfamiliar with, especially without a car. The room was spacious and quiet with clean sheets and towels. There were windows that opened two ways to catch the sea breeze. We could see the ocean and walk down to the beach. Restaurants were plentiful because the hotel is very close to the center. The room had a fridge, sink , and microwave with a bar table and two chairs. there is also a small patio where you can relax and view the sea. We met some lovely vacationers from Norway because of the hang out area.

As we explained that on our reservation we were given a great spacious room with a terrace with a private entrance strait from the road - this way we weren't worried about bothering other guests when we arrived late in the evening. Our room was impeccably clean. Our only regret was not being able to stay longer.

The hotel is few steps away from the ocean, you can hear it if you open a window. In 2 minutes walk you'll find the center of Ericeira with lots or cafe and restaurants, all of them work till late at night

This pension has lots ofdifferent types of rooms, be very precise in describing what you wantbecause otherwise you will not get what you were looking for. Be awarethat rooms are not cleaned on Sundays and public holidays. Sheets andtowels are not changed withing 3 days.We stayed 4 days but our towelsand sheets were not changed...at the rates that this pension charges inAugust this is unacceptable! The rooms have no Airco and reception staffis only on the premises until 12 am...so do not expect any service.

The room itself was newly renovated,extremely clean and modern with a little kitchenette, dining area and alarge separate bathroom.Location is central, down a quiet alleyway a stone's throw from the beach and a couple of minutes walk to the centre of town. Although the listing states that there is no parking, we had no trouble parking (for free) just around the corner. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Wifi worked perfectly. If I am ever in Ericeira again, I would not hesitate to stay here and will definitely recommend it to my friends: great value for money :)
