Review 1：There is no lift which didn't affect us but for some it would. The staff take your bags to the room free of charge

Review 6：Just 3 minutes walk from beach, peaceful, clean and really helpful staffs. One example, we checked out at 12PM but used and stayed by the pool until 2PM because of our flight schedule and they were very gracious in letting us use the pool, towels, showers and arranging all our taxis in the friendliest manner and without asking for anything in return. Staying in this hotel felt like home. I will come back to this hotel every time I visit Surin beach. Also,the hotel has an Italian restaurant where food is cooked by an Italian chef herself.

Review 16：The rooms are so large, with terraces, but furniture is very basic and sparse. the rooms facing the pool have flat screen tvs, the back rooms don't. There is a pool in front of the building, but the sun lounges haven't been upgraded, they are old, and so uncomfortable so no one sits on them. As with so many budget thai beach hotels, most rooms have poor water pressure, and its barely luke warm. There are bathtubs, but no drain plugs and water not hot anyway to fill them. the slightly upgraded rooms do have better water electric heaters.

Review 17：The Surin Sweet is great value for money. The location right across from Surin beach is unbeatable for the price!. With the impending re-development of Surin beachfront, developers are sniffing around making offers on this property so stay there now before it gone. Rooms are large, and beds are comfortable. The hotel is Italian- owned and managed; staff are friendly and helpful. You can walk anywhere in Surin from here. A good buffet breakfast is served, but the regular restaurant wasn't open when I was here. There are mini fridges in room , and internet is good. Its a delightful place to stay, and you can save your money to spend elsewhere in Surin!

Review 18：- No elevator and our room on top floor but we made it work. - Front desk not aware of how to use credit card machine (just on the day we checked in). - Pool hours... why can't I use the pool after a night out? It's hot! - Shower curtain rod fell every time we showered, this was very annoying, and it didn't prevent water from getting all over the bathroom floor which made getting out of the shower a very slippery experience.

Review 23：Viva! Everything good! The Italian owner's intelligence shows all over as you walk in! At last a bed without a warm duvet in the tropics! The further you look the bigger your smile! Lovely decor, beautiful room, wonderful view, spotless pool and even the veranda was draped, with plenty hanging space. How did the owner know that most customers want to hang out wet clothes? Our room was better that ones we paid double as much for, with an aircon and wifi that worked accurately.

Two minute walk to Surin beach, near lots of restaurants,bars, mini marts, etc! Lovely pool at the hotel and a great bar-the bar man Poi plays great music and is so friendly! Rooms are cleaned daily, they're basic but perfect for our needs and good value for money!we would definitely stay here again!

Review 50：We have stayed at a couple of the more expensive hotels along the same road. The location of Malee is perfect, the hotel rooms were big with a huge balcony but basic. Breakfast basic but ok. A third of the price to its neighbours. We would stay there again.

Review 51：The toilet in the hotel room stopped working a few times. The cab (meter taxi) from the airport was cheaper then the shuttle service they offered. Would not recommend their restaurant, instead get a taxi to nearby Kamala beach from the street outside the hotel.

Review 60：I didn't like how unclean the rooms or the bedding was. The bathroom was badly decorated and very dark, also dirty. My air conditioning didn't work and wouldn't go below 29 degrees. The balcony view was appalling, it was directly opposite another building, the people of that building could see straight into my bedroom.

Small but nice swimming pool. The only problem is with the location... Surin is indeed the most expensive place where I've ever been in Thailand: European prices everywhere.

Review 108：This is an excellent location, and the value for money is amazing. It is a basic, no thrills hotel which is situated 5 minutes walk away from some of the best beach bars of Surin Beach (Catch Club, Diamond club, ...). Since you will be staying at the beach all day, this hotel is better than the 4 star alternatives... The Manohra cozy is nice and clean, and the Italian management is super friendly. Breakfast is a bit basic, however you clearly see that the new management is constantly improving things so probably by the time this is posted the hotel will be even better... The only possible drawback is that there wasn't any elevator. Not a problem for me, but to be considered for older guests.

Review 109：The hotel...now elevator to 4th floor ...no pool view for higher floors as mentioned. Bugs that are like nothing ever seen ...but indigenous to Thailand but in poor and uncared for areas and homes, as I was told... Also ants... And a staff that is NOT...l maybe you won't print this but it's a place for backpackers that just don't care

Review 130：this hotel is probably the best choice on surin beach (best beach in phuket!) for quality/price. location is amazing in front of the sea, few steps from the beach and there is a beautiful private swimming pool! staff is very gentle and helpfull with my reservation changes. rooms are big and well furnished with style by the new italian management. cleaning is ok and we had a large balcony with chairs. breakfast has probably been recently improved, it's good enough as soon as it is included in price. wifi connection excellent. suggested for family, couples and all the customers that wish to relax and anjoy!

Review 132：Staff very helpful, always willing to help with anything. Location is great, just 3 doors up from the pricey resorts so you have all the same beach luxury close to hand. The food was also very good. Free breakfast with every stay was nice but could have more variety, but dinner menu was a bit on the expensive side, however the complimentary bruschetta was a bonus. The hotel is very clean and above all you are made to feel appreciated and treated very well by the staff!

Review 134：Nice hotel in Surin, perfect balance between quality and price. the location is wonderful, just in front of one of the best beaches in Phuket, this 3 stars hotel has been recently renewed by the italian management: there is a huge lobby with some lounge areas (also with available library!), a beautifull and clean swimming pool and a very good italian restaurant for both lunch and dinner. Staff is friendly, english, italian and thai speaking, and at our disposal for any info, travel reservation and help. Rooms are very big and clean, there is also a large balcony you can enjoy during the evening.
