Reviews for Te Puru Holiday Park
Review 1:the tide goes out a long way!
Review 2:Cheerful friendly staff The river swimming hole nearby that they told us about was very nice (a very short drive away) The beach looked good for children around high tide The cabin was clean and well-equipped It was quiet even though we were opposite the office Many of the cabins seemed to be privately owned and we enjoyed wandering around looking at how they have been customised
Review 3:The unit was let down somewhat by needing a more thorough clean, e.g. there were dead flies and bugs behind the bed when we made it, and food spots on the slats of the blinds
Review 4:A roomy unit with just enough space for what we needed to do.
Review 5:The staff were very helpful and as there was a double booking, we were very grateful that our accommodation was upgraded, no extra charge. Made our first K2 experience less stressful.
Review 6:Only place we stayed where we had to provide our own towels and bedding.
Review 7:Liked the easy access to the beach and saw a lovely sunset. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy accomodation.

Review 21:There are no pubs or restaurants nearby, need to go to into Thames if you want to eat out.
Review 22:The "5 person" cabin was basic but well equipped. Two seperate bedrooms allowed privacy for a larger party. We liked having our own private barbecue, verandah and ensuite. A general store is right next door to the camp ground for supplies.
Review 23:Shower head needs replacing; full of calcium so very low flow
Review 24:Lovely location, quiet..
Review 25:couldn't stay long enough
Review 26:was a nice quite camp ground surrounded by beach, walks, close to shops, fishing.etc
