Review 1：Room wasn't ready at 2pm but this wasn't a huge issue.

Review 2：- Breakfast included - Leela beach is chilled out and quiet (opposite of Full Moon beach) - Staff are customer focused and friendly - Rooms are nice - Two pools plus beach - Nice food - Free shuttle down the road to centre of Haad Rin for lazy people / those with kids, although it is walking distance. - Quiet at night This is my second time staying here (first was 2007) and would stay here again.

Review 3：Our room was FAR from everything and up the hill. We had to plan our day so we'd take everything with us because it was really far to get to the room. The wifi was very weak. The hot water ended after a 5-min shower. Only one person could get a hot shower.

Review 7：The insects. This hotel is infested with ants and mosquitos. We had to switch rooms from a bungalow to a second floor room so that we have less insects to deal with. We had a scary spider big as a fist in the bathtub (we paid extra for a room with a bathtub which we never used) as well as many centipedes. Its part of island living, but ants everywhere including in your luggage can really put a damper on one's holiday. Staff was really lovely except for one angry seeming man at the restaurant. We ate many meals at the restaurant because it was raining most of the time we were there and this guy was ALWAYS in a foul mood. Others have commented on this in booking.com reviews so the hotel should definitely have a chat with him. He hovers over people while they eat or while looking at the menu and never cracks a smile.

I also would've like and to have some sort of netting on the windows to stop insects from coming into the room and biting while you're asleep.

Review 36：Amazing staff. Very friendly and keen to get to know you. The room itself was excellent - clean, air conditioned with a nice balcony with a hammock. The spa was reasonably priced with a great range of massages and treatments available. A 5 minute walk away from Haad Rin centre where you can go out to eat and shop, however the hotel restaurant had a fantastic range of food and was very reasonably priced. We stayed there over the full moon party period and it was a very short walk to the beach where it took place. The downside to this (which let me make clear had nothing to do with the hotel itself) was that we were next to the resort that hosted the full moon after party which started at 8am till 12pm the next day. Obviously this didn't affect our view of the hotel however if you are perhaps staying there with a young family it could perhaps be an issue. We were actually rather sad to leave as we felt very much at home here and would love to go again.

Review 42：Upon arriving at Haad Rin pier, there was a free shuttle service to collect us. Check in was swift and we were soon shown to our pool view villas which were so clean, comfortable and modern. There was daily house keeping and kept us supplied with free water. There was also a mini bar, free wifi and a very comfortable love chair/seat on the balcony. The beach was gorgeous, so quiet and a perfect stretch of white sand from which you can view the sunset. As it was included in the price, the breakfast was really good and something for everyone. The food in the evening was equally as good and they did an epic buffet with free beer before the full moon party. Location wise, you could get into Haad Rin within 5 mins walking. In all, a great place with friendly staff and two adorable (and very friendly) dogs.

During checkout I mentions that there were couple of towels that was not replaced by Housekeeping...and we ended up being investigated (have our bags open infront of other guests) and embarrassed. I do hope they founds those two towels in their inventory...the worst feeling we had after a very long travel over couple hundreds bath items...really really embarrassing and upsetting (made us looks like a thief). The pools are great, but the beach is not for swimming and the pick up from pier left us, so have to walk up & down hill and the place is hard to find. Also, the road in and out of resort needs to be fixed.

Review 80：Some of the facilities need refurbishing, like the reception toilet, the sewage system in the rooms (a bit of a smell, and the drain didn't work so well). It's not a problem now, but might be in a year or so if things won't be taken care of.

The receptionists are very helpful, advised us where to go and what to see, and helped with some of the bookings. The location is great, beachwise, and also far enough from the parties (we came for to Thailand for R&R). But it's a bit of a walk from downtown (about 7 min.) which might be a bit intimidating for women at night hours. Breakfast was okay.

Review 89：Awesome staff, Nina on reception is a legend and will help you with anything you need. The hotel has its own private beach with beds and bean bags layed out is so chilled out and relaxing. One of the pools on site is lovely as well. The resort just has a nice feel to it and makes you feel very at home. If you go for a standard room, yes they are a little basic but the resort and staff make up for that. Very quiet in the evenings.

The resort is amazing and when I go back to Koh phangan I will 100% be staying here again!
